-Unnecessary fighting
-Heavy armor
-Video games (especially war/battle games)*
-Fighting being necessary sometimes
Finley wrote:*Video games are distractions.
You're probably wondering why
I especially dislike war games;
I don't like them because they're
making war seem so lighthearted
as if it's not all that bad and
making them for entertainment,
but in reality war is a terrible thing,
it's not something to be taken lightly.
Poem;;
Childish dreams of being a warrior,
They always filled my head,
Playing war and crafting toy armor,
Oh, how silly I was,
To think such things would be fun.
Well, now I'm here,
Exactly where I dreamed to be,
And it's not at all what I thought,
Every day,
It seems,
You barely escape death,
While others die.
Injuries,
Deaths,
Desperate plees for help,
Screams,
Would it not be much better if war were not sometimes necessary?
Finley wrote:They say as a Princess I shouldn't fight in battles...
I say as a Princess it's my DUTY to protect my people.
Worst fear;;
Finley's worst fear is that she won't do a
good enough job commanding the army
and that the kingdom will get taken over.
MMMMMMWorst experience;;Finley wrote:It happened when I was just getting into my teens.
I invited a friend over one day, and when she
came over we ran to my room. We played
some card games, then we decided to play
hide and seek... I was gonna be the one
seeking, so I close my eyes, plugged my ears,
and began counting. I couldn't find her
anywhere... until I heard a quiet laugh. I
opened my toy trunk and she started
laughing at me because I had dolls and
dress up stuff in there. She said to me, "You're
pathetic! You still have dollies and dress up
costumes!" then noticed I was crying. "Aw,
do you need your blankie?" she said
sarcastically and then began laughing more.
I pulled her out of my trunk and made her
leave, I never saw her again after that.
Favored fighting technique;;
Efigenia's favored fighting technique is the flanking maneuver. A flanking maneuver is a maneuver in which part of the army fires suppressive fire on the enemy while another part of the army goes around unnoticed and attacks from a side or the rear of the enemies.
Where she lives;;
You may think that Finley would live in a place since she's a princess, but she doesn't; she lives in the watchtower near the barracks. The second to top floor is her bedroom; the floor directly below that is a bathroom, and the floor directly below that (The bottom floor) is a kitchen/dining room. The top floor doesn't have a roof and serves as the the actual watch part of the tower.
Why she's a warrior;;
When Finley was a kit she always loved playing war; she would put on her toy armor, say "I am Princess Commander Efigenia, and I am here to defend my homeland!", charge forward, and pretend to fight enemies. One day when she was in her late teens, her homeland was attacked, and she volunteered for the army because she felt it was her duty to protect her people. At first they were reluctant to let her in, due to her being a young princess, but they eventually let her in and by the time the war was over she had proved to be a valuable asset. She decided to stay in the army for the same reason she joined: she felt it was her duty to protect her people.
Song;;
I'm living in a war zone,
Every day,
Every night,
There's another fight.
My life is always in the battle,
It's not a game anymore,
This is real, this is my life,
One more day passes and the war keeps on.
I miss my friends,
I miss my family,
But I have to protect them, it's my job.
I'm living in a war zone,
There are battles everywhere and there's nothin' more,
I'm fighting, fighting, fighting,
It is my duty to protect,
I have to keep fighting, protecting, defending.
Deloise wrote:It's my talent, you can't pull me away from it.
Adebowale wrote:I know the risks I take by fighting in this war...
but if no one defended the kingdom simply because it was risky, we would all be slaves.
Voice;;
In general, Deloise has a soft,
sweet, melodic, and somewhat
quiet voice. When she is angry,
though, she takes on a serious
tone, and her voice becomes
loud and demanding, though
she sounds more like a strict
commander than she sounds
angry. On the occasion that
she is sad, her voice will lose
it's melodiousness and will
become even quieter but
also sweeter.
Personality;;When people hear she's a warrior, they often think Finley is cruel and mean, but she's actually very nice and caring. She's not a warrior because she's bloodthirsty, but because she cares about her people and wants to protect them. She loves hanging out with her friends when she has a little free time (which isn't very often), and she enjoys just laying out in the sun watching the butterflies. Finley gets depressed easily, finding it hard to stay cheerful when her life is surrounded by war and bloodshed, but a little time away from the barracks will usually cheer her up. She loves to play with kits and tell them fairy tales, sing songs for them, and give them presents.

You find an old dusty book lying under the princesses bed-what you are doing in her room I have no idea-you open it and look inside. All the dates are smudged but you read the following entries:
I found a jewel on the floor of my parent's room, I'm gonna keep it for something really special. In other news, I made some real armor today, it's not the best, but it's real! Now I'll look even better when I'm fighting monsters, hee hee, not for real though... I have to go protect the kingdom now! See ya ~Efigenia Deloise
I've decided to talk to you about my name. Why did they give me such a long name? Plus, why is Finley a part of it, it's a boys name, ain't it? Ugh, Why couldn't they have just given my Efigenia as my first name and Deloise as my middle name? Efigenia Deloise is such a pretty name, isn't it? So, I'm not really sure what either of them means, but I bet it has something to do with being an elegant, royal, pain in the-erm, I mean princess, because that's what my parent's expect me to be. ~Efigenia Deloise
Hey, you know how I've always talked to you about how I'm gonna be a warrior when I'm older? Well, recently our kingdom was attacked, I now I really will be! Yeah, now I can prove I am not a weakling, I have to go practice. Oh, and you know that gem I talked about when I was pretty young? Well it's really pretty and I'm gonna have it put in my helmet. ~Finley
You asked me why I started signing off with Finley instead of Efigenia Deloise, well, I've had a change of heart and Finley is more me, Efigenia Deloise is just too girly. I have to go now though, the army needs me. ~Finley
The last of these was the last one ever written. You decide to take the book with you so you can read the rest later, and you sneak out of the palace. You figure the princess won't even notice the book is gone, since she hasn't written anything in it for so long, and she lives in the watchtower now, you doubt she even comes in this room anymore.
