hello ; ;
Hi! My
username is StarHorse c: I
currently own one other Plumie,
and that is Arca.why i want her ; ;
She caught my eye as soon as
I saw her. When I first scrolled
down to see her, I didn't think
I had a chance, I didn't want to
be sad if and when I lost.... but
I kept going back to her, clicking
on her again, and well, I thought
I'd give it a shot. So I'm making
a form, yay c: Every time I did a
double take on her I guess it just
made me want her a little more,
develop her a little more, in my
mind. So I thought, hey, maybe
I can win this awesome Plumie
if I actually do something about
it. I think I just really fell in love
with her design, and that's why
I kept clicking on her again. It's
really hard to explain this in text
without sounding sappy and
stupid, but hey, that's what
happened. So I want her simply
because I love her. I love her
design, and I'm not afraid to say
that I do like the personality and
lifestyle I absentmindedly made
up for her, and now I'm here to
draw and write it all down and
hope for the best.

appearance ; ;
Rain is a Plumerian, obviously. That means that she's got Plumerian anatomy and everything. Her body closely resembles a blue merle Australian shepherd dog. Her underbelly, neck, the bottom half of her front legs, her back toes, the underside of her tail, her cheek fur, the inside of her ears, and her snout are all an off-white. Most of the rest is a lighter grey with a slightly blended darker grey on top. Above her eyes, part of her cheeks, part of her ears, just past her elbows [front], the back of her back legs, part of her tail, and a few small heart-shaped markings are a natural brown color. The grey and some brown parts of her body are punctuated by cute little spots of near-black. Some of these black spots, and some of the small brown markings, take the shape of small hearts! Her nose is the same almost-black as her spots, her tongue and pawpads are a natural pink, and her eyes are a beautiful blue. Finally, her feathers. The same off-white as her underside is the base color for her feathers. The tips look as if they have been dipped in the same beautiful blue as her eyes. The very center feather markings are in the shape of a three-toed pawprint, and are the same color of black as her spots.❤❤❤❤❤first impressions ; ;
Imagine any scenario where you'd meet Rain - I'll give a few examples. Maybe you're on her track team, maybe you meet her at the pool, maybe you've been introduced by someone else, maybe you're even going on a blind date with her! Either way, first impressions last, although Rain isn't very good at them... let's see...
PICK A MEETING SCENARIO - START:
"Oh, hi," Rain says as you walk in. "I'm Rain... I guess you knew that, though..."
"So, what kind of stuff do you like to do?" you ask.
"Well.... uh.. I run track," she begins, fumbling over the words. "I like to draw but I'm not that good... I also like swimming, and animals... I like baking kinda too, 'got a sweet tooth..."

babyhood ; ;
Rain was born into a moderately wealthy family who lived on a farm. The farm consisted of the house - a large, partly homemade - her family had build parts of it themselves. It wasn't the nicest place ever, it didn't have much luxury, but it was comfy, casual, big, important, and most of all, homely. It had an outer porch encircled by a huge yard, acres of land stretching on. Well, not like hundreds of acres - but you get the idea. They had some large pastures for the horses, cattle, and sheep, a chicken coop, plenty of farm dogs and cats, a few other pets, and lots more. They also had a huge garden. Since the property was atop a hill and surrounded pretty much by forest, it was secluded - the only other signs of people were at the bottom of the large "mountain." They had 4 horses, all of them for western riding - they used them for herding sheep a lot, in competitions. They had, like I said, a chicken coop which held 12 chickens. They shared the coop with a few ducks, two pheasants, and a peacock! They had a few birds, too, and two lop rabbits - one smoky gray and the other white with brown spots. Not to mention the herd of dairy cows, the flock of sheep, and the 5 pigs in the pigpen. Along with the horses they had a small grey donkey. And stray dogs were welcome to roam the property as long as they behaved themselves, plus they had 5 dogs they actually owned. Numerous cats roamed the farm, catching mice. So Rain grew up in a pretty animal-filled life. As a little baby Plumerian, she had little baby quirks, of course. For one, she loved to get the bigger dogs to give her piggy-back rides. And she had a habit of wandering and then ending up in trees. One time, when she was a toddler, she climbed into the back of a visitor's pickup truck and fell asleep. He only realized what had happened when he got home, so he had to call her parents to come pick her up.childhood ; ;
Rain spent her childhood in the same place as she did when she was a baby - the beloved farm. They had all the same pets, but she got to choose a cat that she could call her own - so she chose a little grey fuzzball kitten from the shelter and named him Smokey for his fur color. Mind you, she was only 7. It was when she was around 12 she began to blossom into the socially awkward Plumie she is today. She had a small group of close friends and began running track. At school, she got pretty good grades but didn't attend many clubs or groups. She still helped out a lot at the farm, coming home every day to weed the garden or exercise some horses or herd sheep or catch a few wandering chickens that got out. At about age 4 or 5 she was introduced to the fiddle, and had some lessons on it. She got to be pretty good, and played for friends and family at big get-togethers, but she ceased playing at about age 8 since she became kind of disinterested and picked up some other things.teenage years; ;
Rain has known what she wants to do for a long time now. And that is become a nurse.
If you scroll down, you'll find plenty of information on Rain's college life. She wants to become a neonatal nurse, basically working with baby Plumies and sometimes pregnant Plumies C: She loves it, and even though she can be socially awkward, she's perfectly calm and ready when it comes to nursing.
Her dorm at Johns Hopkins University, or JHU, is decorated to the best of her ability - so not super well, but it's homey and cozy. She has a somewhat fluffy rug on the otherwise cement floor, the window curtains are a nice dark blue. She has a corkboard with reminders, information, and pictures from back home. Her bed has white sheets and a sky-blue comforter, as well as a bunch of cushy pillow and blankets and such, along with other things in her room. She's relatively well organized, and her room is nice. She isn't allowed to have pets living with her in the dorms, but dogs and cats and more at the farm welcome her every time she goes back, which is nearly every weekend. She's still trying to memorize all the corridors and hallways, classrooms and places in the huge university, but she's finding new things out every day. She loves her classes, especially when they can do hands-on stuff. She hasn't met a whole lot of new people yet, and tends to shy away from big groups. She currently is not in a relationship with anyone...
She, like any 'good college student,' has lots of University apparel and often wears Hopkins T-shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants, carries Hopkins bags, and more. But she has lots of other outfits and accessories, too! Here are a few articles of clothing and accessories she wears often...

lifestyle ; ;
Rain, as I said, lives on a farm. She currently stays in her dorm
at Johns Hopkins University during the week, and then over
many of her free weekends she goes back home to visit, greeting
all the horses and dogs and cats and everyone who she missed
over the week. She has a busy schedule and is often tired, but
she still has time for the track team, friends, other sports, her
family, and more. Rain also enjoys volunteering at a few places,
like the animal shelter. It's close to her college and she gets there
by biking on her black and turquoise mountain bike. She leads a
busy life, full of adventures, surprises, and laughs. c:
friends ; ;
Ali'ikai, a female Plumerian owned by Blueh. Ali'ikai
likes to go on adventures, and she gets along well with Rain.
Rain likes to go on adventures with her too, and they share
the fondness of water, swimming, and stuff like that. c:
Rain is also a very socially awkward, kind of socially clumsy
Plumerian. She's really good, not-awkward, and graceful
when she's working with patients, babies, and caring for
others. Around family she isn't that awkward, but she can
still be pretty clumsy. She has slight social anxiety, making
her kind of freaked out in large crowds of Plumerians, but
she copes with it well. Finding new friends, for Rain, is
difficult, but once she makes a friend they can get to be
really good friends.
This Plumie can definitely be described as caring. She takes care of her
family, friends, and pets. She likes to be nice and get them things, do
small things for them, and just be nice. She takes care of pets if they
seem down or sick, she can help others feel better if they're upset. As
soon as she knows she needs to care for and help someone, her social
awkwardness just vanishes. She rushes in and helps, which is why she
makes such a good nurse. She doesn't mind when babies scream, people
cry, or things like that - it doesn't bother her, it sparks something in her,
a fire that feeds on helping others, if you could put it that way. She isn't
bothered, she just instinctively and automatically wants to help and to
right the wrong.
personality ; ;
Rain is a very sweet, loving Plumerian. She's got lots of love and
gifts to give to her close friends and family, but outside of that
she's awkward. Socially awkward. She can be stubborn and
sometimes gets into arguments with others, one of the reasons
she stays away from them so much. And if she has a crush, she'll
be the complete clutz awkward, clueless Plumie that has a crush.
While Rain might be super awkward and sometimes clutzy
everything, she's a whole new Plumerian when it comes to doing
what she loves: athletics, spending time with or around animals
, and caring for other Plumies, thus why she's in college to be a
nurse. But that's more for lifestyle - in terms of personality, if
you had to sum up Rain with 5 words, they would be: Sweet,
anti-social/socially awkward, athletic, caring, and curious. hobbies ; ;
Athletics-
Rain runs track, specializing in sprints and hurdles. She is
very good at riding horses western style, using them on the
farm often to round up cattle and sheep, plus in
competitions. She also plays volleyball with her friends a lot,
and she enjoys playing tennis, soccer, and swimming on the
side, plus lots of other sports. More in the "Athletics" section.
Art-
Rain also enjoys sketching, drawing, painting, sculpting, and
other art forms, although admittedly she isn't the best. She
doesn't let this get her down, though, and keeps trying until
she produces something noteworthy.
Music-
When she was little, Rain could play semi-decent fiddle, but
she dropped that when she was about 8, starting other hobbies
instead. Now she remembers very little on the fiddle, but could
probably pluck out a harmony or two. She also attempted to
learn piano once, but that didn't really work out. She kept
forgetting where to put her paws when she practiced without
her instructor, and then just ended up sliding them up and
down the keys making a loud, not-at-all-harmonic scale.
Got curiosity? Rain does. She loves to try and find out how
things work, what's behind that creaky door, how do you knit, why
do chickens enjoy trying to run away so much, and more.
More than a few times she's gotten in trouble for it, but basically
nothing serious.
If there's one Plumerian who's athletic, it's Rain. She plays a
number of different sports, both casually and in a 'real' team.
Track- Rain runs track, as I've mentioned before. She is on the Johns
Hopkins University[the college she goes to] Track Team. She is a
very fast runner, however she's not very great at the shot-put and
things like that. She's best at running, sprints, and hurdles.
Horseback Riding- Being raised on a farm with horses, there's no
way Rain could've escaped this one. The occupants of her farm,
mostly her family, have horses to herd the cattle, sheep, and such.
They also took part in Western riding competitions, giving Rain
good experience with horses.
Soccer- Ever since she was little Rain had an interest in soccer.
But there weren't any real soccer teams that she could join, so
she kicked soccer balls back and forth with family and friends,
watching the World Cup every year. She still plays soccer with
her friends often, and watching the Cup is a huge part of her
life each year.
Swimming- Rain used to swim in the lake that was about ten
minute''s walk from their house. Once they got a smallish pool,
she would swim in it constantly, always swimming around. She
usually played and swam for fun, but sometimes she would just
swim laps for the heck of it. She still really enjoys swimming
for fun, enjoying the feel of the water gliding around her.
She can also play lacrosse, basketball, tennis, volleyball, and
more pretty well.

Rain is in her Freshman year of college. She goes to Johns Hopkins University, which has been ranked #1 in Nursing and #1 in Public Health. Her major is nursing - Rain wants to be a neonatal nurse for a living, working with babies and sometimes pregnant Plumies c: She's pretty socially awkward, so it seems like she couldn't do this - but when she knows she's helping people with it, she's good with frustrated, agitated, annoyed mothers and crying, picky babies. She knows just how to turn them into content, happy mothers and content, happy babies. c;
She takes her core classes and nursing classes intermingled, having a nursing after a core and stuff like that. Core classes are classes that are, well, core classes - basics, beginnings, introductions. Nursing classes are more specific to different types of nursing, although you still have to know it all, no matter what kind of nurse you want to be!
Core Classes ; ;
Anatomy and Physiology - Studying the body, organs, bodily fluids, normal levels, bones, basically just everything in the Plumerian body.
Psychology - Study of the mental brain; how Plumies think. There are two more psychology classes:
Plumerian Growth and Development - how different aged Plumerian's minds work. For example: babies think in a specific way and are learning, elderly Plumies may be forgetful and their brains could be deteriorating...
Abnormal Psychology - Studying mental illnesses. This covers similar things to the Nursing Class Mental Health.
Writing - for whatever reason, you have to take a Writing/English class.
Nutrition - Information about the body and the nutritional needs, the food pyramid, calories, fats, sugars, proteins, et cetera...
Microbiology - Leaning about germs, bacteria, bacterial growth.
Sociology - How Plumerians live together and interact, social behaviors basically.
Nursing Classes ; ;
Fundamentals - first, basic nursing class. Goes over vital signs, moving patients, giving meds. Seems like it's a core class, but it's not, for whatever reason.
Maternal Child - taking care of pregnant Plumies and the little baby Plumerians c:
Adult Gerentology - illnesses, diseases, conditions, and more that mostly affect the elderly, like osteoporosis and arthritis.
Medical Surgical Nursing - Basically a summary of everything except for mental behaviors, illnesses, etc. This class goes over bodily illnesses, diseases, behaviors, broken bones, wounds...
Mental Health - like Abnormal Psychology. Learning about, preventing, and coping with mental illnesses.
Acute Care - Learning about child and baby Plumerians - illnesses, behaviors, signs, vitals, diet...
Critical Care - Studying and learning about comas and other life-threatening conditions and accidents.
She is aiming for a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing, or a BSN. This takes four years to complete in schooling, and then after that, she's a nurse! But before she can really call herself a nurse, she has to take the Nursing Boards - they're national tests [in the US and possibly Canada, at least] that test everything you've learned over four years of nursing school. Basically Finals. If you pass, (which I'm sure Rain will), then you can find a job - Rain's not sure where exactly yet. After she gets a job, 6 months to 1 year of on-the-job training is required in your specific field - in Rain's case, a neonatal nurse. After that year, she can work without being directly taught much more, and then she's off c:[I got all of the nursing information from my mom, who is a nurse and went through nursing school. She says there may be a few more classes and things, and knows that this isn't every single little thing about nursing school, but hopefully it's enough c: ]Rain is also on the college's track team. They have a meet every week, and Rain mostly does sprints and hurdles c:

-Sometimes when Rain starts to laugh a lot, it's kind of
uncontrollable, and she hiccups a bit and then she stops laughing.
It's weird.
-Rain hates spiders. They creep and gross her out.
-She has a high metabolism and so is often hungry and eats a lot.
-Although she likes babies, she isn't the biggest fan of preteens and
older children. She'll deal with them, and she's okay with them, but just
talking to or interacting with them [unless she's taking care of them as
a nurse] isn't her cup of tea.
-She doesn't like watching one movie of a series and then leaving it for

to donate and help in any way she can with different organizations
like cancer and disease researches, ways to help different animals
and ecosystems...
Since she's already really busy with college and everything, Rain can

A HERDING HORSE
The sun shone through a slightly dusty window into a weathered but sturdy farmhouse. It fell onto the bed of a young Plumerian, her fur resembling an Australian Shepherd Dog. Dust played and danced through the light as her alarm went off-
*BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP*
-and she woke with a start. Rubbing her eyes, the 9-year-old Plumie named Rain was just about to slowly get up, put on her clothes, get out of bed and get some breakfast. “After breakfast,” she thought, “I’ll have to go weed out the tomatoes. And then I have to feed the cows… and collect eggs from the chickens… and then muck out horse stalls…” But then it struck her - Rain jumped out of bed, pulled on her jeans and a t-shirt. She rushed from her room to get breakfast, the wind rustling her calendar as she went.
Today was the day Rain was getting a horse, her very own horse! She didn’t know what color, or even what kind exactly, but she knew her horse would be good. Shoveling some oatmeal into her mouth, Rain wondered what it would look like - the farm. She was going to Oakmont Acres, a popular horse boarding, selling, breeding, and riding establishment. It was her first time, and she couldn’t wait. Setting her bowl in the sink to wash later, Rain pulled on her socks and riding boots, grabbed her helmet, and a camera to take pictures to remember.
Their SUV hummed steadily along the bumpy road up to Oakmont. No sooner had the car come to a halt in the gravel parking space than Rain had jumped out, camera and helmet in hand. “C’mon, mom, let’s go! It’s already 9 in the morning, you said we’d get here by 8:40!”
Her mother sighed, and they started walking up to the large, bright-red barn. “Yes, well, it’s not my fault there was traffic. Probably the football game. Anyways, Linda, the head of Horse Sales here, is going to meet us. Ah, there she is!”
Rain’s mom waved at a pretty grey Plumerian who was waving at them, holding a clipboard and a pen. She was dressed in a red flannel long-sleeve shirt with the sleeves rolled up, blue jeans, black leather paddock boots with chaps. She had a few patches of dirt and bits of hay all over her.
“Sorry about this,” she said, gesturing to the dirt. “One of our foals decided he wanted Rocky’s - one of our stallions - stall, and I had to settle the matter. Kind of fell over when I was walking back from the pasture - I’m a bit of a klutz. Anyways, welcome to Oakmont! We’ve got lots of horses for sale, they’re all in the barn and the sale pasture.” She pointed to a long red barn row opposite the main barn. The stalls had Dutch doors and they looked roomy and comfortable. Next to it was a large pasture, separated for stallions and mares, and a small circular corral. “Right here is our main barn. We have a few horses here, mostly horses belonging to staff and such. We store hay and straw here, have wash stalls here, stuff like that. Oh, and our office is there too. Over there we have our boarding barn,” she said, gesturing to a big enclosed barn that was red and white like the rest, “our lesson barn, which has all of our lesson horses,” she nodded towards a barn with a big section on the side with large windows all around Rain presumed to be the outdoor arena, “our nursery,” which was a smaller building with very small pasture areas, one connected to each stall, presumably for the mare and young foal to use. “We have big pastures on the other side of the main barn, you can’t really see them from here. And finally, our outdoor arena - over there,” Linda said, pointing to a dirt arena with white fence around the edge and tons of colorful jumps, rails, flower boxes, and more. It looked really fun to ride in. “Now, shall we find you a horse, young lady?”
The trio walked up to the sale barn, stopping at each stall to view the horse inside.
“Do you have any idea what color or breed of horse you want, Rain?” Linda asked, preparing to jot down a few notes.
“No, I’m not sure. Maybe a quarter horse, or even an Arabian would be nice. And I want them to be sweet and well-tempered. No color preference… and I don’t think I’d go very well with a stallion, but maybe a gelding,” Rain told her.
“Well, then let’s just browse a bit, and find you a good horse. Oh, this little girl might fit you!” Linda showed them a small chestnut mare with a white sock on her hind left leg. She was munching hay in her stall. The horse turned her head, pricked her ears, and walked over slowly when Linda called her. “This is Flutter, although of course you can change your horse’s name if you buy one, if you like. She’s a Morgan, 14 hands exactly. Very sweet, very nice. Smooth ride, although she might fit a younger kid instead. We can hassle, but she’s got a starting price of $1,600. Healthy, although her hooves need clipping often. She’s 17 years old.”
Rain thought about her for a moment. She seemed like the perfect horse, and yet something was… off. She just didn’t click. “Can I ride her?” Rain asked. “Try her out?”
Soon Rain was sitting atop Flutter, in an old Western saddle, since she wanted a horse for herding and doing other Western-style activities. She asked Flutter to walk. Reluctantly, the older mare strode forward, but it was not powerful, determined, or anything Rain wanted, really. The mare would be better suited with a family that led her on pleasure walks, a little kid atop her back. Rain asked her to canter and she got an amble, she kicked harder and once again asked for a canter. The mare cantered all right, but it was slow, forced, and awkward. Rain trotted back over to the mounting block and hopped off. “I don’t think this horse is for me…”
They tried a few more horses - a black thoroughbred gelding who was too fast and spookish for his own good, a Welsh Pony who kept ignoring the reins, a Paso Fino who was a good horse, but didn’t have too much confidence. They went through other horses that were really good, they could have worked for Rain, but she wanted to find the perfect horse. Finally, her eyes drifted to a stall that seemed to be filled with gold. Blinking, she realized that there was a horse in there, a shimmering Palomino. The sun played on the horse’s coat, making it sparkle. Rain pointed towards the glittering equine and said, confidently, “Who’s
that?”
“Oh, him? That’s Apollo,” Linda said. “Stallion, so he might not be the best fit for you. We just got him, but I suppose you
could buy him if you really wanted to… “
But Rain was already walking over to the beautiful stallion. He nickered softly and nuzzled her hand. There was an intelligent, yet mischievous spark in his brown eyes. His silvery white mane fell gently over his neck, his forelock right in the middle of his eyes. He let Rain pet his face, pat his neck, without complaint. He was sweet, true, and amazing.
“Well, he sure seems to like you,” Linda remarked. “He’s young, about 6 years old. 16.2 hands… a bit tall for you, in my opinion. Anyways, he’s really healthy as far as we can tell. Wanna try him out? I’ll saddle him up for you.”
Rain grabbed hold of the saddle horn with her left paw, sticking her foot in the stirrup. She swung onto Apollo’s back, settling in. He felt comfortable. She pressed in gently with her heel; he walked forward, steadily, confidently, easily. She pressed a bit harder, adding a small kick. Apollo broke into an even trot, circling the corral easily. Rain patted him on the shoulder to show her appreciation - he flicked his ear back in acknowledgement. She asked him to canter. He cantered smoothly, perfectly. She decided to test him now. She tugged her right rein, he swung to the right and headed that direction. She tugged left; he went the opposite way around the corral circle. Coming to a smooth halt at the mounting block, she looked at her mom and said, “I want Apollo.”

THE LETTER
Rainielle Hoffman woke up on Saturday just like it was any normal day. She got up, got dressed, and went into the kitchen, wrinkling her nose at the fact that she had to clean the pigpen later, but she brightened when she realized that she would have some free time to ride Apollo, her horse.
Finishing her eggs and toast, Rain went outside to get the mail. Walking back inside, she saw a letter addressed to her. On the front of the envelope, it read:
This was followed by her address. She tore open the envelope to find a letter enclosed. It read…

Rain almost dropped the letter before she could finish reading the lengthy script. She had gotten in! It felt like something inside her was swelling up like a balloon, a happiness balloon - a wide smile lit up her face, she danced around in a circle. Running up to her parents’ room, she flung open the door without knocking and proclaimed, “I got in! I got in to Johns Hopkins!”

DRESSING THE DORM
Rainielle Erica Hoffman was sitting in her bed. It wasn’t the bed she was used to; it was different. New. Springy. And it had a cover - she had taken the bottom bunk; her roommate had wanted the top, and that was fine with Rain. She was worried about falling out of bed, even if it did have a guardrail. Her roommate was in the bathroom, and Rain contemplated how to decorate the dorm so that they’d both be happy. The University had provided them with a desk and a desk chair, a twin loft bed, two mattresses, a dresser, a wardrobe, a mirror, window blinds, a recycling and trash bin, and a mini-fridge. Between the two Plumerians, they had agreed ahead of time to split the big things - Rain brought a Blu-Ray Player and a microwave, her roommate brought a TV and a cable box. They had each brought a toolkit and a first-aid kit, but that wasn’t much of a problem. Rain had brought a fluffy sky-blue rug to put on the floor, dark blue window curtains, a corkboard and whiteboard, and a small fan for them to share.
When her roommate got back in the room, they started unpacking everything. First, they rearranged where they thought the furniture ought to go. Rain set her rug on the floor and smoothed it out. She set her fan down on the ground and turned it on so they wouldn’t get too hot when unpacking and moving around. They each put sheets, blankets, pillows, and things they needed on their beds - Rain had a plastic container that hung off the ladder so she could store stuff in it that she might need near her bed - a place to put her phone, an extension cord so she could charge her electronics overnight, earphones, and more. She would put her alarm clock there, but she didn’t have one - she used her phone instead. Rain fluffed up her pillows and set her laptop to charge on her bed. She had a power strip plugged in next to it so she could access more things.
Rain unpacked all her clothing, folding her shirts, shorts, pants, pajamas, scrubs and such to put in her two dresser drawers. She hung up the few dresses she had brought in case of a formal occasion, and she put her shoes under her side of the bed. Her bathing suit, beach towel, and other water clothes were also folded in her dresser drawers.
She also hung up her rain gear, boots, and jackets in her side of the wardrobe, or she put them in her wardrobe shelf. She put all her toiletries in the bathroom and folded her towels neatly. Going back out into the main room, she stored a few more things in her dresser drawers - her camera, some school supplies, her personal items like her ID, passport, first aid kit, toolbox, and more.
She put her backpack in the wardrobe, and they put their cleaning supplies in the small broom/cleaning closet. They arranged some basic school supplies on the desk to share, her roommate keeping her computer there since she had top bunk and didn’t want to risk it falling out and breaking. The roommates set up the TV, cable box, Blu-Ray player, and put some movies in the storage area of the TV stand.
Finally, they set to work decorating the walls with some little things they liked - Rain put up her corkboard, whiteboard, some pictures, some fun lights, a clock, and a painting up. Together, the roommates stepped back and admired their work.

This is kind of just to sum up everything, and I dunno, another go at why I want Rain. Well, without realizing it I guess I just poured a bit of my family and life into hers - the farm closely resembles my grandma's farm, my mom's a nurse, some of my close friends run track, and when I did track I was best at sprints and hurdles... I guess I want her because of who she is c:
