☆ Basically, I could go on and on about Maximus's in depth personality, but here it is in some short points. He feels the need to encourage others to become the best they can be, and wants his children to do better in life than he did. Max is also extremely understanding, and often can see both ups and downs to a position. Hes a total geek, and is proud of it. He longs to know what his past is, and longs to travel to other places and make something of himself, but he also feels that he is making something of himself right here where he stands, and feels grounded to where he lives because of his urge to protect others who become close to him.

☆ Rosaline is a free bird at heart, she has the incredible will to just get up and go somewhere, even if it means ending up on the other side of the world. She's done it since she was young, as she lay on the grass in her parent's backyard staring up at the planes. She often finds herself unable to settle down in a single place, bouncing around from city to city, country to country. When she reached college, she decided to enter a degree in teaching, specifically as a study of society teacher. The cultural learning of the subject meant that she'd have more opportunities to travel the world, and that's exactly what she did.

Each Other: Rosaline and Maximus are like two birds of a feather; they adore each other and definitely flock together. They met at the grocery store; where Rosa was picking up a few items before she was due to fly to France for her next adventure. She explained her excitement to Max, who had instantly fallen in love with the cheery, chatty girl he was standing there serving as she held up the line just telling him about how she was going to visit Paris and see the city of love, and maybe find love while she was there. So he decided to slip his phone number to her with her receipt; she looked at it for a moment before smiling up at him and winking. After Rosa returned from France, she and Max organised a date at a French restaurant down the road from the grocery store, where they had a lovely, yet awkward dinner. Many dates later and they found themselves at the same restaurant again, this time it was less awkward as Max stepped down onto one knee and proposed to Rosa, who squealed and cried as she said yes.



Daughters:
Skylla

Maximus
Maximus and his daughter Skylla, who in fact bears a striking resemblance to him, get along very well, and are very good friends and family. The only thing is Skylla sometimes feels like she is 2nd to her sister always in Max's eyes, but this is only because Max thinks Carol is bold and can stand on her own 2 feet. He has complete and uttermost faith that Skylla can do whatever she wants and always do what she thinks is right, and those are the traits that he wants his daughter to have.


Rosaline
Rosa and Skylla often butt heads with each other, Rosa thinks that Skylla (who is actually perfectly normal and fine) is too quiet and submissive, but Skylla never stands down from her mother. Often, the two are egged on by their entertained FATHER!! Rosa also feels distant at times from both of her daughters, Skylla especially, because she feels that she is gone too much on her work and puts too much stress on Maximus to raise their 2 daughters, but they both turned out fine, and Rosa played a much bigger role in their relationship than she thinks.

Carol

Maximus
Max isn't really supposed to pick favorites between his loving daughters, but if he had to pick, Carol would be his favorite. Carol (often referred to as Caro by her doting father) often thinks quite the opposite, and believes that her father is mean and expects too much out of her, but in reality he is just pushing her harder than Skylla because he knows that she can do so much more than she thinks that she can. He constantly is telling her that she can achieve great things, and that she should try harder, but he also comes down hard on her when she doesn't live up to her potential. He urges her to get out there and do what she was meant to do, but sometimes she isn't quite sure what he means by that. Max just wants her to do better than he did in life, and enjoy herself, and he believes that she is perfectly capable of accomplishing it.

Rosaline
Rosa and Carol on the other hand, are the best of friends! They are 2 peas that fit perfectly in the pod, and they often go out shopping together when Rosa is home from work. Carol has always admired her mother, and aspires to be as independent that she seems to be. Rosa is very proud of how independent and righteous Carol is, and is happy that her daughter is willing to share things with her on her own free will. They have a very good relationship, and are best friends.


Family Member of Choice:
Max & Mango Berry
Maximus here, hasn't had it easy with his mother-in-law. At first, she took a strong dislike to him before meeting him because all she knew was Rosaline had a supposedly amazing boyfriend, and he still hadn't introduced her daughter to HIS parents. Upon meeting him, Mango was all ready and set to tell this young man off, but when she met him and he explained that he was an orphan? Mango set off the water works in her mind and subconsciously decided that she was going to make sure that her daughters love interest did not end up being a mess. Every morning before the young couple's official marriage, she made him breakfast and left it on his doorstep, and invited him over to dinner. Now that Max and Rosa are happily married, Max uses Mango Berry as a guide when deciding how to make decisions regarding his family.

Rosa & Kaia
Rosaline and her sister Kaia have almost always gotten along together.They were always close, but Rosa's love of travel kept her from staying as updated as she would have liked over the years, the last time they properly caught up was when Carol and Skylla were born. Rosa liked to borrow Kaia's things a lot, which sometimes frustrated her sister deeply as she'd find that something she was planning to use that day was half way around the world in Rosa's suitcase. Rosaline truly loves her sister and their bond only strengthens with every obstacle they must face.

Max's Favorite Sport to Play in the Street
Max's favorite sport is not basketball, not foot ball, and not hockey, but it is mini lacrosse. Also know as "Lacrosse for Babies", "5th Grade Lacrosse", and "Fiddlesticks". He doesn't care about the fact that the sticks are short, the balls are softer, and the goals are smaller. He loves the intensity of the sport. He loves the energy high that he practically gets off of just running down a driveway cradling the ball in his stick. Often, you can find Max restringing his stick, both obsessively and compulsively. He offers to string other kias' sticks too, and is know as being a pro at it. Often at his comic book store shop he can be seen sitting behind the counter restringing his stick, or actually playing in the corner. Max does not actually own his own net, so their neighbors' backyards are constantly littered with his lacrosse balls that he did not retrieve from their yards. Most of his neighbors by now have learned to just throw them back, but some are lost forever. He has attempted to pass the sport on to the rest of his family, but he finally realized that he pushed a real button when he gave Rosa her own set for their anniversary present, and has kept it on the down-low since.


He's All Mine
Rosaline smiled upwards to her handsome husband, wrapping her arms around his chest to envelop him in a hug. 'I can't believe he's mine,' she thought to herself, as he cheekily grinned down at her. 'It's so unbelievable. We are married, as of yesterday!' He whispered to her. She closed her eyes and reached up on her toes, pressing a sweet kiss to his mouth. 'I can't believe you planned our honeymoon in France without me knowing about it!' She exclaimed, tapping his chest lightly with her finger. A laugh bubbled out of Maximus as he draped his arms around her shoulders, slowly turning with his wife to look over the night sky of Paris. Looking at all the tiny lights dotting the scenery from the Eiffel Tower was surreal. The night life of all France seemed miles away from where they stood. Insignificant to the pair except for being pleasing on the eyes, Rosa still gazed out upon the city, her mouth slightly parted in awe. Her stare fixed back on Max, who was stepping away from her.
“Stay there a minute Rosie.” Whispering his special nickname for her as he moved behind a beam to get something. Suddenly from the other side of the area, a Kiamara carrying a violin moved out and sat on a stool. Rosa waited as Max re-emerged carrying a wrapped gift and the violinist suddenly began to play a smooth tune. Max smiled at her, handing her the gift, Rosaline looked at him carefully before unwrapping it slowly. Inside was the most beautiful stained glass sculpture of the feather she wore on her tail, Rosa gasped in surprise as she picked it up, her eyes moving over it in awe, “I love you Maxie!” she cried, Max smiled.
“I love you too Rosie!”
