username: evergreen.
name: Janus Tomotu (Janus is the Greek two-faced god of the future, the past, and beginnings and endings)
gender: Male
role play: with my bean, Madrigal

Madrigal stepped out of the cave she and her family lived in, breathing in the fresh air happily and basking in the warm autumn sunlight. She sniffed the air, and, detecting no other beans or wildlife, stepped out of the entrance and down from the rocks onto the still-green grass, littered with leaves colored various shades of orange, scarlet, and gold. They crunched pleasantly under her paws and her lips curled into a smile at the sound, her tiny saber fangs protruding more from the sides if her mouth at the expression. Her emerald green eyes were dancing with happiness and contentment as she basked in the beauty around her, so different from the dark, echoing caves she was used to.

Janus Tomotu crouched low in the forest, letting the thick shrubbery cover his bright, unnatural colors, his mismatched eyes fixed curiously on the smiling brown, cream, and gold dragon basking in the sunlight. He cocked his head slowly to one side, confused by this creature that had emerged from the darkness of the caves to stand in the light. He closed his blue eye, and she seemed to exude a warm gold light herself, though he had always been told that it was impossible for people to be dark or light. He knew she didn't know he was there. He had no scent to give himself away by. Janus crept closer, his eyes fixed unerringly on her, unblinking.

Madrigal's smile suddenly faltered, a chill running unpleasantly up her back. She felt eyes on her. The dragon spun around, her green eyes warily scanning the forest. Not seeing or smelling anything, she took a tentative step towards the forest. "Is anyone there?"

Janus shrank back, the too-loud voice piercing his skull. His ears flattened to his head and his lips involuntarily drew back, exposing sharp teeth that were at odds with the smile painted on his fur. But as he backed away, one of his paws snapped a twig. He froze, an odd noise coming from the back of his throat, a mixture of hissing and a strange keening.

Madrigal heard the snap of a twig and stepped forward, pushing cautiously through a few thick bushes, suddenly coming upon a strange dragon crouched low to the ground, strange, disorienting eyes wide, ears flat to his head, teeth bared and a peculiar, rather scary noise emitting from the back of his throat. His brightly colored fur stood on end like a scared cat. Madrigal froze, not getting any closer or making sudden movements. "I'm not going to hurt you," she said quietly, in a gentle tone.

Janus flattened even further to the ground when she found him, her radiance hurting his eyes, muscles frozen. When she spoke, it was much quieter than before, and only hurt his ears a little. But though she seemed kind and gentle and harmless and beautiful, he still didn't trust her. He didn't trust anyone. Janus felt the vibration in his throat die down a little, though, in the face of her radiant green eyes.

Madrigal relaxed fractionally when the noise quieted, her teeth less set on edge by the unsettling sound. She tentatively smiled at the dragon in front of her, noticing again his strange eyes, one an innocent baby blue and the other pitch black as the dead of night. He also had strange markings stretching from the corners of his mouth to the botton of his eyes, making him appear to be smiling cheerily despite the faint snarl still on his muzzle. "My name's Madrigal," she said, even quieter than before, having notice him flinch at her voice before.

Janus relaxed when she continued speaking, quietly, quietly enough that it didn't hurt. His muzzle slumped, lips sliding back over fangs, leaving only his permanent smile. Madrigal. It was a nice name. It sounded like warmth, and light. Not like his name. Janus. Cold. Dark. Hard. Bitter. She wouldn't want to hear that name, would she? What about his other name, Tomotu? That was better. It tasted a bit like spring in his mouth. "T-Tomotu."

Madrigal jumped slightly at the raspy, grating voice that emerged from the brightly colored bean's throat. Tomotu. It was a rather odd name, but it was better than nothing. "It's very nice to meet you, Tomotu," she said softly, smiling again at the stranger, who was rising a bit from his uncomfortable position flattened to the forest floor. "But what are you doing here?"

Janus stood up a bit more, now only slightly crouched, muscles still tense and ears still laid back. At her question, he flinched and shrank back a bit more, averting his gaze. No. Why was he here? He didn't know. Why didn't he know? Where was he going? Why was he going there? Why, why, why, why? He couldn't remember. Everything was hazy. Clouded over with darkness and shadows. Her light was trying to chase them away. But he liked the shadows. You could hide in the shadows. Darkness was good. Light was dangerous.

Madrigal jumped back as Tomotu suddenly leapt up, turned on his paw, and bolted away into the forest, a wild look of panic and sadness on his face before he left. She stared after the strange bean for a few minutes, frowning, still struck by the puzzle of his strange behavior and appearance. Shaking her head, she slowly trudged back into her cave, still wondering.

Janus had liked Madrigal. She was kind. But he ahd to stay in the shadows. He was alone, by himself, and outsider. He stayed on the fringes. He hid in the darkness. He watched.

    Name:

    Gender:
    Male
    Role play:
Warning, some parts might be a little gruesome.

"Y-you! A-are you real? Maybe I should check...Should I bite it? What if it's another illusion?" Tik Tommy asks the stranger who made her way into his domain. Ah maybe a plaything? Or companion? It does get awful boring after a while...Surly no one smart enough would come here out of free will. Or perhaps curiosity? It truly had been a while since the last visitor.

Rainbow freezes in mid-step. "Who...said that?" She asks in a mouse like squeak. Her colorful fur now standing on edge, resembling a startled cat. She turns her head around, checking every direction around herself in paranoia.
Nothing. Nothing but the ice cold stones lining the tunnel way of what looked to be a sewer to her. The stream of water flowing by confirmed that theory but the occasional lit torches confused her to some degree but then again the voice she heard did confirm that she was not alone by any means.

Tik Tommy chuckles in glee, oh what fun this was! Maybe he should have more pit traps around his sewers after all, who knows what fun could possibly 'drop in'. His grin just widens at joyous sight of distress.

A soft chuckle echoed around the tunnel way, she couldn't be sure who it was or rather what it was. What if it was the one who beannapped her? Why else would she have woken up on the cold stone floors of such a place? She sure wouldn't have came here if she had a choice, that's for sure.

"Please don't leave just yet, not that you could." Tik Tommy says, ending his sentence with another hollow chuckle. Now he truly wanted to meet this brave yet oh so mousy bean. Besides there was a little something he needed her to do for him.

"Please whoever you are, please just let me out of this place! I'll do anything!" Rainbow tried begging to the voice instead of feeling offended. Besides she did not know the severity of the situation she is currently in anyway but it sure beat staying another second in such a filthy place.

"No not really...Do not use such words so lightly hohoho...But do come closer, I won't bite I promise." Though Tik Tommy did wonder how loud her streams would be. Ah screams, a delicious sound to his ears.

Rainbow gulps, feeling even more worse then before if it were possible. Gingerly she starts taking steps closer to the voice, meaning going deeper into the forsaken tunnel. With every step she could feel her guts tightening as if a hand decided to squeeze a fistful of her intestines.
It wasn't long until she saw what looked like a small white shine and a blueish shine in the near pitch black of the tunnel. It felt to her as if the voice was leading her deeper within the bowels of the sewer.
"O-ok w-who are you?" Rainbow squeaks out.

Tik Tommy simply uses his flames to light one of the unlit torches on the wall. It was a old sewer system after all. No one really bothered to upgrade things so he took it upon himself to add a thing or two, not that he needed light.
"Tik Tommy madame, and you are?" He asks with a grin stretched across his face which somewhat distorted his facial features somewhat.

Rainbow almost jumped out of her fur and skin but she had enough willpower to keep from screaming or running off. Well maybe it was more so fear which kept her in place. She blinked back tears while praying in her head for her to get out of this unharmed.
"R-rainbow...C-can you please l-let me out now?"

Tik Tommy's grin slightly droops. How unpleasant, here he was trying to indulgence in a civil conversation and all she wanted was to leave. Well might as well move things along before he loses this chance.
"No not yet. You see I too am attempting to leave BUT..." He adds a dramatic pause looking from the dripping stone ceiling then back to Rainbow's adorably frightened face. "But I need someone to company me, and that someone just happened to be you." Tik Tommy says in a sing song tone.

Rainbow's jaw hits the floor. What? Was this a joke? With a frown Rainbow straight up tells Tic Tommy. "No! You can surly leave on your own!"
The rainbow bean was enraged now, she had to wander around in filth for hours just because this sick jerk needed someone to leave the place with? Nope, no way was she going to help him.

Tik Tommy's playful grin now twisted into a more sadistic smile. "Oh? Well then dear...I hope you enjoy the rest of your life down here. You might even start referring this place as home soon enough...Perhaps when you learn some manners we may speak again."
He flicks his tail causing the torch to go out and one by one, plunging the tunnel in darkness.
Heh she won't make it far...just like the others who were now most likely striped away to the bone by the insects and occasional rodent.
Ah well...he would just have to wait for her to return, like they always do in the end.

Rainbow dashes off to the opposite side of the tunnel. There just had to be a way out of here!
Gnawing away in the back of her conscience she couldn't help but feel she did something bad, maybe she should have accepted the strange bean's request. But...it was a little too late for that, right?

Gender: Male

Role play: With Rainbow

Tomotu only stood in the shade, the shade that blocked out the burning sun and the Beans who were playing or chatting with one another. He was alone and sad with nobody to comfort the sadness that runs through his veins each day and each night soon that sadness would disappear someone would make him blissful again but who? Everybody he went to greet, to say hi...They ran away screaming with their horrid faces..It hurt him, It made tears roll down his cheeks from the pain he had to go through to see everybody scared of him, Just because one small thing. His eye.

Rainbow was running around, having some fun until she heard a scream not that playful or fun scream...the scream when somebody was scared. "His eye! Somethings wrong with his eye!" Rainbow turned his cranium to watch the slim teenage bean run away with her friends in horror. What's wrong with who's eye? Who is He? Rainbow thought as he saw some beans stepping away from the tree But By the tree was An adult bean like her, crying..Hard. But why? Was he the bean? soon the Masculine starting to approach the unknown Male...Unsure.

Tomotu's Blue orb stared at the ground for awhile before he heard footsteps approach him causing him to take a sly glance at who this person was and it was another feminine. Sorrow filled into his system and rush through his veins, Heart throbbing against his chest while his mind swirled with flashbacks of others who stared at him in horror. "P-Please stay...A-away..I don't feel like scaring People L-Like I always do..." He said, trying to fight back the tears as the pain surged through his body as it couldn't escape.

suddenly felt his pain mostly because he didn't like it when others were grim, depressed or filled with grief. "You won't scare me...It's Okay." Rainbow said as he was filled with hope But she was also worried. What If she did get scared and ran away like that Bean before but No, he was brave wasn't he? Anyways he forced all that worry out and filled him self with confidence. he watched the Masculine with his head all the way down but could feel the sly glance of his innocent eyes.

Tomotu shook his head so much that it was a Blur and caused him a headache which made him slightly hiss from the Impact but he still didn't let him take one glimpse of his face. "Y-You promise...Y-you won't run away...?" He could hear his soft words say 'Yes' soon he looked up, Tears trickled down his face As both eyes meet he's were in shock and his..Well in pain and at that Moment..He regretted even coming to this tree.

Rainbow stood in shock while she saw his face, One had a Beautiful Sky Blue eye's while the other had nothing but Darkness and something Grey in the middle but he wasn't scared, Just Shocked soon he gave a smile. "You have the Most coolest face I've had ever seen." he didn't see nothing wrong with his face all he saw was how he was unique and different unlike most beans.

Tomotu finally stopped crying as he gave small sniffles. "Y-You really think so.." soon he gave a smile, His smile that has been waiting for ever to be planted on that handsome face of his. He soon stood up instead of being in that crouched position as he tilted his head like a dog which was adorable making him smile even more finally that sadness was starting to disappear..He was going to have somebody who cared, who would make him smile and laugh, he was finally going to have a friend.

Rainbow chuckled as he ruffled his head slightly. "Hey, stop being Sad, If those Beans can't see how amazing and unique you look then they don't know anything." he smiled while watching the masculine chuckle with glee as the sadness finally escaped him. "Hey, You want to walk with me...Friend? also My Name is Rainbow, Yours?" he heard the brute rise again and walk beside him with that smile gleaming on his face as he said 'Of course and said his name was Tomotu.' A Wonderful and Unique name.

Now Tomotu wasn't lonely anymore...All that depression all that sadness disappeared from his face. He was glad that this bean came by because he know had a friend, Rainbow was now his friend and he was happy even though other beans did get scared or bullied him Rainbow was there to cheer him up which made him happier and happier and that was a good thing, He didn't need sadness anymore all he needed was a person...A person to free him and that happened.

Creepy? You've described me well...

Name: Eloi
Gender: male
Role play:

Eloi narrowed his eyes as he leaned against the side of a tree, the dark night filling the sky above him. The only light that shone around was either from the moon or the few lamp posts, many of which flickered eerily. His eyes glistened from the light shining into them, one looking like an evil pool of darkness that could stare straight through one's soul. He chucked silently to himself, letting out that odd, clown-like sound that echoed through the empty park. Or at least, he thought it was empty.

Rainbow shoved his hands into his pockets, shivering slightly as the cool night breeze blew past him. He looked up to the moon, inspecting its distant craters with interest and suddenly finding curiosity over the features in the night sky. Suddenly his eyes grew wide in fright, his gaze fidgeting around from the flickering lamp posts to the trees that lined the paved trail. "W-what was t-that," he stuttered, the words coming out with worry and fright. "Wh-who's there?" He then called out, glancing around desperately. It wasn't everyday that you were out walking at night when the creepy laugh of a clown could be heard echoing around you. Or, was it even a clown?

Eloi found himself laughing harder by the second until it became a bit hard to catch his breath. His eyes were beginning to water and his cheeks hurt from smiling so widely for so long. "Ohhh boy," he laughed to himself, continuing to crack up. "Wh-who's out there?" He mimicked in a quiet snicker, clutching his stomach as the chuckles bellowed from his stomach. Others always seemed to fear him when they heard him, or even saw him. It was just his creepy nature; the eyes, the laugh, the brightly odd color scheme, and his personality and actions at times.

"I'm being serious," Rainbow hissed, narrowing his eyes with anger even though they were still filled with fright. Obviously whoever, or whatever it was, happened to think it was a funny sight. "Who a-are you," he added on, his voice strong even though it cracked and he ended up stuttering again. Rainbow silently face palmed himself, knowing that his scared expression and voice would surely bring more howls of laughter.

Elois let out one more odd chuckle, letting it slowly fade until he just let out a deep sigh. Silently he walked away from the tree and towards one of the flickering lamps. Seeing as the other dragon hadn't noticed him just yet, he purposely stepped on a twig and let it snap before slipping into the eerie light. As he stood there his deep, dark eye and glistening blue one shone brightly. Elois couldn't help but let out another odd clown laugh, seeing the fright plastered all over Rainbow's face.

Rainbow's ears twitched as the twig snapped, a gasp of breath puffing out of his mouth as he quickly snapped his head around to stare at the figure that now appeared. His lower jaw quivered slightly in confusion and slight fright, his eyes round and worried. It was mainly the other dragon's one dark, evil looking eye that got to him, and that mischievous clown laugh too. "I'm going to ask again," he said sternly, his voice cracking ever so slightly. "Who are y-you?" Even though he were scared of this dragon that appeared, his voice now showed concern, confusion, fright, and seriousness.

Elois smirked, having it naturally look rather evil and mysterious. Quickly that simple smirk turned into a grin that showed his teeth, and an odd grin it was. He narrowed his eyes, observing Rainbow and listening closely to the words that stuttered and cracked from his mouth. Within the blink of an eye he appeared behind the scared dragon, his grin growing even more wide like the Cheshire Cat. "Name's Elois," he whispered, slurring the words together slightly. "Great to meet you," he then added with a small cackle, one eye twitching slightly.

Rainbow shuddered slightly to himself, trying to figure out now in his mind if this dragon was purposely trying to scare him or if it was all just natural. Maybe it was a bit of both? He had closed his eyes briefly to think it over, letting out a sigh before shooting them open again to reveal that the other dragon was gone. "What on Earth..." He thought silently to himself, looking around the area in front of him. Suddenly a quiet voice filled his ears from behind himself, causing his eyes to grow wide and his hole body to instantly snap around to face the sound.mOh, just him again, of course. The oddball dragon. "Y-yeah... Great to meet you too..." He responded, trailing off and stuttering with fright while giving Elois a look of confusion. "Might I ask why you're scaring me out of my skin?" He added, raising his eyebrows now.

Elois listened intently, his toothy grin still showing as he rested against a tree with his hands on his hips. "Oh, I'm scaring you?" He asked with a small chuckle, winking at Rainbow. "I never meant to scare you of your skin," he added, narrowing his eyes with slight playfulness and not out of anger. "By the way, it's rude to not share your name back," he snickered, folding his arms over his chest.

Rainbow couldn't help but smirk slightly to himself, now amused by the personality this Elois dwelled. "You're an interesting soul, I'll give you that," he said slyly, narrowing his eyes a bit as he still smirked. "I'm Rainbow," he added with a small chuckle, flashing Elois a toothy grin. Perhaps this creepy creature wasn't so bad after all, although Elois did still manage to create an eerie feeling in Rainbow's stomach.
