JellyBean Dragon Name;;
I decided to name this beautiful little girl Eureka. When I saw her, the name of one of my favorite books came to mind, Teardrop. Its about a girl who causes a huge storm when she cries that brings back the Lost City of Atlantis. So you can see why I linked it to her, Atlantis was a large island, and she seems to be extremely beach-based in design. The main character of the book is a girl named Eureka. I loved this name, as soon as I read it, but didn't much like the nickname that they gave her in the book, Reka. So instead, Eureka's nickname will be "SeaGem" Or just "Gem" due to her father's nickname for her that was given because of her love of the ocean.
Gender;;
Eureka is definitely, undeniably, unquestionably Female.
Favorite Hobby;;
Eureka smiled as the early sunlight bounced off of her fur, warming her as she sunk half an inch into the sand. She wiggled her toes, reveling in the feel of the fine, miniscule pieces of rocks and seashells and bones of creatures of the sea that squished wetly between her smallest appendages.
The wind stirred slightly, and filled her beautifully long ears with the music that it carried over the sea, whose colors matched the thin fur on her ears.
She began to feel the familiar pump of adrenaline that sped her pulse when she heard the sounds, a harmonious mix of waves crashing against eachother and seagulls' cries and dolphins chirping not too far away. She felt the overwhelming desire to dance.
Eureka could see it now: the spiral seashells and crabs and lionfish and, of course, a seashore whose beauty would rival Aphrodite's. She could imagine them swimming gracefully across the sand, across her canvas.
Her tail twitched eagerly, causing a glass tail bangle to draw a deep line in the sand. It had been, as her young imagination believed, a gift from Aphrodite herself when she found them washed ashore a year ago, when she was five.
Her large, round, conch-colored eyes moved across the sand, scanning the beach. Other beachgoers usually didn't hinder her dancing, her art. In fact, she found it fun to have to create a still-elegantly beautiful design around their beach towels and sand castles. She didn't have to worry about that today, though.
Eureka's canvas was empty.
She closed her eyes, inhaling the crisp, sweet scent of the ocean, taking a breath to focus. She filled her lungs, and jumped in.
Eureka's giggles were answered by the seagulls' as her teeth chattered and she was enveloped in Poseidon's icy embrace. She stood and climbed out slowly. Her body wiggled and shook as a dog would after a bath, but she placed her tail delicately back in the water. She always said that a wet tail marked the sand better than a dry one.
Finally, music travelling from the sea, tail dragging carefully and precicely yet elegantly across the sand, and her temptation intensified to the maximum it had ever been,
Eureka,
the child prodigy,
began to dance.
