name:
- Melahia (Mel- ah-hi -ah)
nickname:
- Ella
title:
- Duchess
gender:
- Female
personality:
- Spacey - Though she is of high class and high intelligence. Ella doesn't have the best attention span. One minute she could be talking about the beautiful weather then the next she could be off into her own world
- Regal - Taught and naturally regal some could call her smug but she is only doing what she is taught. You never know when something may happen and for her she takes it with stride
- Talkative - She can be very talkative when she is not in public and along with her spaciness it can be quite a combination. She loves to talk about anything and everything but prefers to talk about what she can do to help her people.
- Prankster - When she isn't infront of those who would judge her she loves playing ranks on her staff, friends, and family
story: I do not speak german so i had to use a
translator. Sorry if some things are wrong
*narrorator voice* In a land far far away, lived a gorgeous and well renowned Duchess who went by the name of Melahia. *end narrorator voice*
Duchess Melahia pads into the room, her light cream pawsteps thumping quietly on the golden tiles. Turning her head she narrows her emerald green eyes into the dim lights "Hallo, jemand da?"(Hello, is anyone there?) she calls slight fear lacing her voice. Finally seeing a small group she takes a step back. A look of fear in her eyes until she realizes who they were "Ah, Sie müssen der Gruppe kommen auf Tour meine wunderbare Heimat." (Ah, you must be the group coming to tour my wonderful home.)
The group looks back and forth to each other looks of semi understanding and confusion contorting their faces, when they do not respond she tilts her head slightly, gold tiara tilting in her chocolate brown hair. Sitting on the cool surface she keeps on staring, a face of confusion covering her old smiling one. Looking back and forth to each other the group members shrug before one blurts out "I'm sorry, but we don't understand you fully." The group gasps as the one who called out shrinks back realizing that they were in the presence of a Duchess and with that called for the right titles to be in place. "I... I mean I'm sorry you're Majesty...". Letting out a loud but contained laugh Melahia nods in understanding.
"Ah yes, your group does not speak my native language, no worries I have been well taught to be fluent in others." she says her voice thick with an accent but layered in proper grammar, or for the most part. Stepping forward she looks up at the one who called out. "It is just Duchess young one. You're Majesty is for a queen." Holding her head high Melahia motions for the group to follow her. "Welcome to my home young ladies and gentlemen. As you may know I am Duchess Melahia but please just call me Ella." she says her voice starting strong but ending soft and calming as she notices the slight fear coming from the group. Watching their expressions change Melahia continues. "Please follow me and we can start the tour!" she cooes her head still high as she leads the group out of the main hall and into the vast opening of the ball and throne room, her long tufted tail swinging behind her. "This, my lords and ladies, is the throne room" she motions to the large gold and green throne up ontop of a landing of stairs. "The room also doubles as the Grand Ballroom. During one of our parties it can hold up to 1,000 or more Kiamaras in it. Depending on how packed you wish to be." Flicking her ear towards a commotion she huffs. "Was ist es diesmal?" (What is it this time?) she mutters under her breath before turning and leading the group out of the Throne Room and into the large dining hall. As they move towards the large table filled room the commotion gets louder and as they enter two male Kiamaras are seen scuffling around on the floor.
Growling in frustration Melahia steps forward, parting the group and standing infront of the fighting males. "Genug! Zu ihren Füßen. Jetzt!" (Enough! To your feet. Now!) she orders her once open face now closed and unreadable. Snapping to attention the two males fling apart and kneel, showing the respect and shame to their Duchess. Wanting to speak in her native tongue Melahia decides not to. "Pay attention Ladies and Gentlemen. This is how it is done." she says her deep brown tail lashing forward to motion to the males. "How dare you two scuffle in a house that is not your own! Roll around like it is a playground and not a dining room. Abfall!! (Rubbish)" The two males kept their stances low, their faces drooping in frowns as their lady scolded them. Melahia looked to her right at the familiar figure that stood their lower and more respectable than the other. "Connor, my trusted friend. May I ask for your side of the story."
Connor nodded and raised his eyes, "Yes My Lady. I caught this gentleman sneaking out of your room. When I confronted him here he fought, but ma'am it's a good thing I confronted him." the kia on the right states shooting an accusatory glare to the other beside him. Before looking towards the table where a shining object gleamed in the light. Melahia gasped as she recognized the object as her crown. Not just any crown but the crown that was passed down to every first born girl in her family. A memory of her grandmother showing her the crown came forward and began to play out but with an unlady-like growl she stepped forward, until the memory was nothing more than what it was, till she towered over the intruder.
Her face growing red in anger Melahia turned to Conner. "My Lord, please take this group out of here and finish their tour." she said her green eyes never leaving the thief's. Connor hesitated stuttering that it was unsafe for her to be alone with him. Whipping her head around she narrowed her eyes. "AUS!! ICH HABE Befehl, den sie zu verlassen!" (OUT! I command you to leave). With a quick gulp Connor took the group away as soon as they were out of site Melahia calmed some a small smile on her lips. "Nice work Duke Theodore." she laughed to the remaining male whose face now held triumph. "Looks like they bought it! did you see their eyes!?" the man shook his head and Melahia padded to her crown. "Wow... this truly does look like an exact replica of it." She said in awe of the fake crown as Theodore came up beside her.
"Just like you ordered My Lady." he replied bumping her some.
"You my old friend are just the same as what I remember when we were children. How are you?" she asked memories of her and Theordore's explorations hitting her. Funny moments, sad good-byes, and even some angry faces from parents and staff.
