When she was just a baby, Her mother couldn't decide on a name. she thought, and thought, but she just couldn't think of one. One day, as she was just taking a walk, and she heard a strange noise. It was like water splashing around. she followed the noise to the old lake nearby.. when she got to the top of the cliff, and looked down at the lake, she could see bubbles. they were strange bubbles. Thick bubbles. She looked at them, her head cocked slightly to the side. she then saw a light green glow. she liked it, It reminded her of her baby, the yellowish-green glow. she stared at the lake for a long while before she saw the bins. She read the words, "Toxic Waste". She couldn't figure out the second word, though. She then walked home.
After a few days, she around with the lettering of the first word, when she heard her baby mumble, "t-tokes" It wasn't a word, well, one she recognized, but she liked it. she then thought, "Tokes...Toxic....Tox?" She wondered. it must have been meant to be. She then looked over at her baby.
"Tox..."
She mumbled, smiling. she padded over and nuzzled her.
"Tox."
She said, more confident.

That was when she decided, her baby shall be called tox.

Tox has a very...Complicated...personality. she absolutely HATES chocolate. She doesn't even like to be around when people eat it. she doesn't like the smell, the taste, nor the look. She also doesn't like the color brown, or white. her favorite colors are black and red.
She likes to act like a boy. It's incorporated in her DNA. But she also likes to dress up at times. Like her personality switches around. Sometimes she hates skirts, but sometimes she likes to dress herself up just like a doll. She also likes both females and males. She's still deciding, though. Also, she likes music. her favorite kinds are Heavy metal, alternative, and electric. Music is almost everything to her. In fact, she carries around an Ipod and headphones everywhere she goes. She usually has one headphone dangling out of her ear, so she can enjoy some music as she listens to you, aswell. She loves gory horror movies, and anime. She likes to just look at things sometimes. especially scenery. She also likes to go to the graveyard and to the toxic lake.
So, I guess to sum it all up, she's a tomboy, she loves music, she loves horror movies, anime. But she also has a very feminine side, so she likes to dress up and things.

Astrid was born with her name, given so because of her late mother's love of meaningful name. "Astrid" is Scandinavian (though of course her mother had no way of knowing its orgin) meaning "divine strenght" which was the first thing the young mother thought of when she was her daughter's strange markings and the slight glow of her fur, which strongly confused the mother as they were both unnatural and in no way resembled either of her parents' own markings. Upon laying eyes on the newborn female her mother knew she would need a great strength and determination to make her way through life.
ｐｅｒｓｏｎａｌｉｔｙ ;
Astrid would be a very high energy and happy Kiamara with a heart of gold who easily makes friends and is nothing but a little chatter box. She has the potential to be the sweetest little thing with a natural knack for just being there for others and trying to do anything for them and expect nothing in return. Under the right circumstances she could be a great friend and confidant who is always laughing and smiling and never judges another Kia just because of some harsh words. She would be forgiving and greatfull and even playful with everyone, no matter their apperance or anything else that may matter to others. But these are all objective seeing as sadly, Astrid had not been given the environment to evolve into this potential personality.
When her poor mother disappeared Astrid's strange marking and glowing quality led others to mistrust her. Because of this not many were willing to approach the young female and when they did it was not with joy or because they wanted friendly conversation or company. Many have even gone to great lenghts to try and stay out of the yellow and gray Kia's company and this has wounded her deeply as she never did anything to deserve this treatment. She was never mean or vendictive or even the slightest bit nasty to anyone she had ever met and so when others decided she was to suspicious to approach the poor girl pulled back into a ball of shyness and uncertianity. Astrid is now a quiet, submissive, and slightly depressed Kiamara who tries to stay out of the spot light as much a possible because she doesn't want to make anyone uncomfortable. Now this doesn't mean Astrid is completely friendless, there are a few Kias that knew her before her mother vanished and that grew up with her that treat her just like everyone else and with them she comes out of her shell just the slightest bit and tries to act normal for a few hours before they eventually leave to go find their other friends.

ｌｅｔ ｍｅ ｔｅｌｌ ｙｏｕ ａ ｓｔｏｒｙ ; ;
Many people have wondered idly about the day Astrid's mother disappeared and sadly, though she has tried many times to tell the story of that fateful day not many of them have actually listened. However, if you wish to know and are content to sit and listen with an open mind you mind find that this story is not as it may seem from the outside and will help you better understand this out cast little girl.

Astrid's mother had always believed in being prepared for absolutely anything. She wanted her children to carry this same instinct and habit with them as they grew up to be adults that had to live in this harsh world. Frequently the young mother would take her children out into the wild and show them different things about the forest that not many had ever stopped to observe, little hiding holes, places to climb that others could not, berries and other edible plants, and many other small things that she figured may one day save their lives. It was on one of these little outings that the mother vanished seemingly into thin air. During the late winter while her brothers and sister slept peacefully in the den in the warm comfort of their father's fur young Astrid lay quietly on the outside of the little pile, her body shivering in the deep chill of the fallen snow and waking up to find her daughter like so the mother stood up and led the child outside into the soft white world, whispering things of silence and warmth to her and showing her how to keep moving to keep the worst of the winter's bite away. As they walked peacefully through the white forest a blizzard suddenly kicked up, tossing the pair into a horrible and storm that disoriented them. While trying to find shelter the mother left her daughter for mere seconds and Astrid didn't hear from her again until she heard a cry of pain in the distance. Desprate to find her mother Astrid slowly made her way through the storm to find a narrow hole, just big enough for a small grown Kiamara to fit in which is exactly what had happened. Not being able to see the hold before hand the young mother had fallen into the chasm and broken her leg on the way down. Attempting to save her mother's life Astrid left the spot in a hurry to try and find someone to help them but quickly got lost in the storm and only managed to stumbled onto their cave again. By the time she had woken her father and the storm had quieted enough to send out a search party the blizzard had covered all tracks that led to the hole and filled it. They searched for days calling out her name but sadly the young mother died of freezing and could not be found.

So amazing, how one five-letter word can describe this kiamara. But the question remains: does it really? This kiamara is not at all who she seems to be. If approached, even kindly, you would receive a sharp, angry request to leave her alone - and it'd be wise to do so, for Branwen is extremely irritable. She finds most things annoying, even the bird's morning song. Children annoy her most of all, she claims.

The only time she isn't angered (as much) is when she is alone, gazing at her reflection. She's quite vain, striving to be the most beautiful of all. If she feels that she isn't, she'll do anything in her power until she is content with herself and her appearance again. She doesn't seem to care for others, or their emotions, only hers matter in her eyes.

Branwen is sarcastic, as well. Not in a joking sort of way, rather a way that seems rude, of course. As mentioned before, she doesn't seem sensitive to other's feelings, therefore, she uses sarcasm to damage other's self-esteem.

But is this really who she is? On the outside, yes. On the inside...

Remorse. What Branwen feels, in the farthest depths of herself, unseen, hidden by shadow. She hates what she's become, and wants to change. Now, though, she feels as if she can't.

Sorry about that! I hope you enjoyed my form either way.

Now, getting to the point, which is why am I trying for this kiamara.
Currently, I'm the proud owner of two kias, Nikki and Brooklyn. If I won Branwen,
my three kias would be able to interact - and I'm honestly curious as to how that
would go, seeing as Nikki is the tougher of the two and Brook, shy.

Besides that, I've been wanting a character based on a fairy-tale character.
I'm not sure why, it would just be interesting to me.

I've put a lot of effort into the coding, and I have some backstory
ideas forming already. Although I'm not the most active in the fanclub,
I'd try to be more active there, setting up roleplays.
