My username is Gerbilfuzz! I am proud of it and would never want to change it. I absolutely love gerbils. Gerbils are my life. My favorite animal is actually a cat which I do love slightly more than gerbils but since it is more common to see a cat themed username I wanted to be more original and bring out another one of my animal loves. Feel free to call me Gerbil, Gerby, Gerb, Tomato, Fuzz, Fuzzy, Gerbified, or any other thing you can think of.

Hyacinth seems like a legend of a name. I seems royal, mature, a great "Man" name! It is actually the name of a flower XD. I named him this not because I want to make fun of him or name him after a pretty girly flower it is because this type of flower can grow in similar blueish-indigo's as Hyacinth's fur.

Right now Hyacinth is about the size of a large shiba inu. Unusually small for a male. He is growing quickly and looks like he will be about the size of a small cow when he is full grown.

Seventeen
I think I would like him to be as young as I am allowed. This age will make it easier for me to relater to him as I write his personality and life. Seventeen should be a great age too for me if I win him as I will have a longer time will him as a teenager before he gets all grown up.

Even if I had the option to change this to female I would of kept it male. A teenager male Dragon will be so much fun for me to have, role-play with, and write about as I make my form! I already know a lot of Dragons who could become his best buddy at this age!


Hyacinth has a very sensitive nose and start to become emotional if there is a strong smell. He can get very angry with sour or bitter smells but it seems to make him unusually calm and quiet when he smells a sweeter smell.

Hyacinth like to chew on his claws, he sometimes starts to almost chew then off, he always has a pack of JBD gum in his pouch to keep himself from chewing off his own claws. Hyacinth usually chew on his claw when he is thinking, he doesn't notice himself doing it so unless he is already chewing gum he will start to chew his claws.


Hyacinth keeps many things in his pouch.
A picture of his parents - You can find out more about this picture in his history, he dreads losing it, his last sign that he had loving parents.

Gum - As you see in quirks Hyacinth needs to chew gum or he'll chew his claws off!

A bag of snacks - As a growing teenager bean Hyacinth eats a lot! He keeps some snacks in case he gets hungry.

A feather wand - Hyacinth loves to play with Lucy, his kitten He keeps this cat toy to entertain her when she comes by.

Sweet scented perfume - whenever something very dramatic has happened or Hyacinth gets very excited he can always take a sniff and it calms him down.

Breath freshener - Hyacinth always keeps his breath fresh, he doesn't realize other dragons don't have a sensitive nose as him and that his breath isn't the first thing they notice.


In this section I am going to have two personalities, a teenager one, and his future adult one. Adults become much more mature over time in most and in his case.

Hyacinth's Teenager Personality;

These qualities seem to clash a little but if you know any teenagers you will understand how they can switch from grumpy and mean to social and kind in a second or vice-versa.

||Energetic||
Hyacinth never seems out of energy. Have you ever heard a parent tell an over-energetic child to do ten laps around the house to calm them down or use up their energy? Well I've had him do 30 and he still comes back in almost seeming like he has more energy then before he went out.

||Lazy||
With all that energy many assume that he will be willing to lend a helping paw. Well, they were wrong! He is just a lazy teenager who likes to play video games and try to prove he doesn't need me or become more dominant in the family.

||Show-Off||
Hyacinth loves nothing more than to shows off his silky fur, energy, and other skills! He also thinks of himself higher and better than any other Dragon. It is hard keeping him in his place back at home!

||Playful||
On the other side of Hyacinth's personality when he is in the right mood he can become very playful and quickly falls in love with physical games and challenges. He usually doesn't work or anything unless he decides to on his own so I've learned never to tell him to play something but simply bring him there to watch until he asks himself if he can play to. He also often seizes the opportunity to show off during games.

||Grumpy||
Hyacinth quickly and easily gets grumpy and also hold grudges. He is not known to swallow his pride or forgive others. He is especially like this when he has to get up in the morning. Oh teenager days, oh teenager days.

||Social||
Admit it Hyacinth, other Dragons are the most important part of your life.
No matter how unkind Hyacinth can sometimes be to another dragon, no matter how much he shows off or acts better than the rest, he has to admit that they are the most important part of his life. Every time he is happy it has something to do with something social he did or is doing, some games with his friends, or maybe he made a new friend. Other Jellybean Dragons just have some way of cheering him up without even trying. He just loves them.

Hyacinth keeps a lot of his younger personality. Most of the qualities not shown here anymore he still has a little bit off like he sometimes can be grumpy or show-off but he has mostly matured and grown out of those behaviors.

As gone over before Hyacinth has more energy than the average Jellybean Dragon. He has lost a little tiny bit of energy from aging but is still a young adult and very energetic.

||Gentle||
Hyacinth realizes how fragile younger or smaller creatures can be. He will start becoming very gentle and having some fatherly traits even before he finds a mate.

||Wise||
He may seem a bit immature as an adult as you look at his other qualities but he has found throughout life great wisdom that could come out any unexpected moment.

||Playful||
As an adult you would expect him to get less playful but surprisingly, his playfulness will increase. He will get more and more social and playful and continue acting similar to himself as a young child fir the rest of his life.

||Talkative||
As Hyacinth matures he will find more and more to say as he rids himself of his bad qualities and makes more and more friends. He will eventually find himself with to much to say and to little time. He loves saying his opinion but could still work on listening to others a little more.

Hyacinth has grown more and more appreciative of the dragons around him and recognizes more how much he loves them. He is, as always, a very social dragon.

Do you consider yourself a good artist?

I'm more into sports and other physical activities than drawing. I don't have the patience to make great art.

Have you every dyed your fur?

I've never really used dye on my fur but it has been *cough* pink before *cough cough* when I was sprayed by a skunk and had to be washed into *cough* tomato juice.

You seem to be coughing a lot, tell us about your worst sickness, disease, or injury you have ever had.

Well the most painful injury I have every had was when I ripped a claw out when I slipped on ice when going outside. The worst sickness I have ever had was probably this one really bad fever I had once. I *cough* threw up... a lot.

Ice? Hmm, reminds me of ice skating. What are some sports you have participated in, what is your favorite sport?

My favorite sport had got to be swimming, I have won two first place gold medals and five silver second place medals in swimming races too! I have also participated in gymnastics, soccer, baseball, and roller-skating.

Ah yes swimming is great! What is your favorite drink?

My favorite drink? Had to be... Hmm.. I'd say Lemonade!

Have you ever taken a vacation? Where too? What was it like?

Yes I have! I took a vacation to Florida. It was fun, a lot of great places we went but it was also very hot! I was always thirsty.

Florida is very hot in summer indeed! Have you every had a pet? Do you have a pet now? tell us about you pet(s)

My first pet was a small catfish name Simon. He was a great pet but as a fish he didn't live as long as I would have liked. I now have a kitten name Lucy. She is a frisky, sly, trouble-making, tortoiseshell! She has a secret stash somewhere where she hides little toys and other small objects she steals. We found her old one, containing 7 unused tissues, 3 dust bunnies, a feather, two bouncy balls, 6 stuffed mice, and a bag of catnip she took from the cupboard. She is a great cat though and we love her anyway. You also have two gerbils, two frogs, and a cat too. Sasha, Millie, Twitch, Dorothy, and Felix.

My hair? Oh it grows... naturally like this. *runs paw through hair*

How do you want me to help, how do I involve in this, how will I do this, ect. A for "And?" They always have more formalization important for me to know. My mother taught me this, it makes many Jellybean Dragons assume I have good manners.

My biggest wish? Oh wow, I think my biggest wish has to be... hmm... My biggest wish is to find the perfect mate and have a nice big happy family just as great as my old one!

Time to learn about Hyacinth's past
When Hyacinth's egg was lain it was this xxxx Second Lightest Blue: #776B93 color.
Age; 1 month
The small light blue egg wiggled, a small crack formed across it and then a tiny baby dragon's head poked out. Its fur was identical to the egg shell.

Age; 1 month and 1 week
Hyacinth's fur started changing color, he developed a slightly lighter blue belly plus two different darker blue shades on his back.

Age; 3 months
Hyacinth whined sticking his head out of his mothers pouch and trying to pull himself out. His mother sighed and then pushed him back in. She fed him a little bit of mango and then continued walking. Hyacinth poked his head back out eye wide as he looked outside. Everything was so new and exiting! Why wouldn't his Mom let him explore? He cried feeling no control stuck inside the pouch and kicked his feet trying to get out.

Age; 2 years
Hyacinth was still to young to leave his mother but once in a while she would place him on the ground to let him snuff around and strengthen his legs. He loved time outside the pouch!

Age; 3 years
Hyacinth is still to young to walk around unsupervised. He starts to walk a little better a further and develop strong legs though. He can even sometimes pick up a little speed and make a run to get from his parents to play.

Age; 4
Hyacinth grinned as he dove into his fourth birthday presents. Even if he didn't have this spectacular birthday party he would still be super happy, he was now a child, not a baby! He puffed his chest out very proud of himself and ran around.

Hyacinth made many friends with the other Jam children. He played with them as often as he could. He could never have been happier at this point in his life.

Age; 10
Hyacinth was horrified when his parents told him he had to be adopted! He thought he could have a happy life with his parents and friends forever. He wanted to stay as long as possible, his parents said he could stay until he was 13.

Age; 13
Hyacinth was wearing a wool sweater his parents had made him for his birthday. He had a photograph of his parents clutched tightly in his paw. He had cried all day, this was the worst birthday ever.

Hyacinth went onto a plane, his parents assured him he was going to the Jellybean Dragon Adopts, a friendly place with a lot of Jellybean Dragons that will be friendly and nice to him and take care of him.

On the plane ride Hyacinth felt sick and tears kept streaming down his face. He looked out the window as his homeland disappeared. He then opened his paw and stared at the photograph of his parents.

At JBD adopts Hyacinth learned good manner, learned about humans, and made many new friends. He was comforted by all the friendly JBDs and humans.

Age; 16
Hyacinth had watched his friends go up for adoption one by one, they all got loving owners and never seemed happier than when they were with their new owners. Several he saw crying and he found out that they had to be put up for readoption, he hoped with all his heart that he would have a loving owner that would never abandon him.

Hyacinth was super excited when he heard that a young girl named Gerbil wanted to adopt him. He went with her cheerfully and the started learning about eachother.

Age; 17
After a year of knowing each other Hyacinth and I love each other like family. We are the best friends and have developed a deep bond.

A story staring Hyacinth. Featuring a lesson of life Hyacinth has learned.

The Dragon and the Milk
Hyacinth trotted cheerfully down a dirt path carrying a empty bucket. He had asked Gerbil to make him some cake but she told him that he must fetch her some milk for it first. Hyacinth hated working, or obeying what anyone told him to do. He felt it was embarrassing and work was boring too, not to mention hard. He groaned asking himself why couldn't Gerbil get the milk herself? As he continued on the dusty path in the hot sun he choked on the dust and gagged from thirst as he worked. He started to sweat and his neck ached from holding the bucket. Hyacinth's steps slowed as he dragged himself across the dirt path. He landed each step hard and sleepily causing more dust to fly into his mouth and fur. He spat trying to get the dust out and dramatically coughed an gagged on it. Hyacinth continued along the path until he arrived at their farm and he collapsed onto a stool. Hi then realized the hard work of milking the cow and then returning with a heavy milk filled bucket. He eyed the cow's water.
Splash! Hyacinth slid into the tub of water and flopped around. He waded in it, lay in it, played in it, and just cooled himself down. Hyacinth continued playing for about twenty more minutes until he remembered that he had to get the milk back by 1:30 pm or Gerbil would not make the cake. Immediately his pain, soreness, grogginess, grumpiness, and choking on the dust returned. He turned to the cow with a sigh and then began to milk it.
After Hyacinth had finished the long back-breaking work of milking the cow he began to continue back to the house. The bucket weighed a lot more filled with milk and his back was already sore enough from hunching over to milk the cow.
Suddenly a familiar figure came into sight. Gerbil! Gerbil looked at Hyacinth, "Why are you so sweaty, dusty and slow?" She asked.
Hyacinth was about to snap back that she hadn't been doing hard work until he noticed that Gerbil was carrying heavy bags of sugar and flour. He tried to explain how horrible and exhausting the trip was.
Gerbil just smiled. "I watched you the whole time." She said. "And I am not angry at you for playing in the cows water but I think you need to learn something." She said bending down to the teen dragon's height. "When you were playing you forgot about all your soreness and about being tired, you just enjoyed yourself. When you were working you acted like you were dying." She said with an amused tone. "You coughed on the dust you kicked up yourself and made it harder on yourself the more you thought about it. Now I want you to continue home just like usual but carry that milk proudly, think of the delicious cake I can make with it."
Hyacinth realized how hard he had made it on himself, everything h did in reaction to his work just made the work harder to do and harder on himself. He nodded and continued his march home. I have been trying to win a Jellybean Dragon of my own since a little after I joined Chicken Smoothie! There are so many worthy owners who want a Jellybean Dragon of their own and each of them seem to have their luck on the Jellybean Dragon perfect for them. I think that Hyacinth is truly the one and only perfect Jellybean Dragon for me. I want him so badly. I have read guide to making a successful form, had help from friends I made in the Jellybean Dragon community and done everything else I can to make sure I have a good chance of winning Hyacinth. I believe that all the wonderfully made Jellybean Dragons that I lost were truly made to prepare me in my skills and love for the beautiful dragons for this one. This dragon is perfect for me, I know it, i love his fur colors, gender, and I developed his personality my best to make him realistic and great for me. Another thing I love about him almost more than anything else is his red eyes, they do not look evil but pure adorable and innocent. I love red and amber eyes so much, you wouldn't believe it! It seems Hyacinth was made for me.
