Forget Me Not's my name because my eyes are such a pretty blue, don't you reckon? It also relates to my dream, which I'll tell you later!

Forget Me Not here has a dream, which she is still working on. She wants to be noticed and live up to her name, because as a child she had always thought she camouflaged too well and sort of felt... invisible. She wants to be known in a good way, so she's still trying to figure parts out. Don't worry, I believe her dream will come true <3 Isn't that right, Forget Me Not?

Oh, the yearnings of the heart and soul are so strong, yet it must be controlled... Reader, I wish and daydream every day to achieve a long-sought goal of mine ever since I was a young little Kiamara; to become the greatest botanist ever to be known in the Kiamara world!

Now, you might not even know what a botanist does or ever is! Let me assist you with that. A botanist is one who studies botany. And botany is a discipline in the biology world where scientists study the science of plants. A botanist studies things along the terms of structure, chemical properties, growth, diseases, and so much more.

By now, you may be wondering why such a young lady like me would ever want to become a botanist when I could be a writer or perhaps a singer. Unlike other young girl Kiamaras my age, I didn't want to be a princess and live in a glorious castle or become a famous movie producer, just to give some examples. Honestly, I was quite the mischievous and independent young lady with a spontaneous creative side. I would run off into the forest and try to catch all the frogs in the large pond and return to my parents with mud all over my green fur and maybe a frog or two. I wanted to play all the time and dance around in the rain. The only way my parents could control me was to give me something interesting to do.

I was given an art kit when I was just a year old. Oh, how I loved that art set; all the shiny pencils, the vibrant colors of paint, and the beautifully made brushes always fanscinated me. This art kit opened the gate to how I began my love of plants.

When I was a bit older, I wandered the forest for something to draw and paint with my art kit. I was quite down that day because a few school kids had made fun of me on how I wasn't beautiful like all the other girls. As a result of all this teasing for years, I had become quite insecure. Anyway, I happened to stop and sit on a tree stump. I remember that day so very clearly. The breeze ruffling my fur and the songs of birds above. But none of it changed my emotion towards the world. It was then when I saw it: a single dazzling, blue violet flower [ mind you, it was a violet, which is a flower. And is was bluer than most violets I had ever seen in my life. ]. Never before had I seen anything so magical, so vivid, and so...blue. I sat there and painted that violet. And just to remember, I marked what day it was, where I found it, and what type of flower it was. I remember smiling after I finished my masterpiece. Then it hit me, what if I did the same for ever flower or plant I drew? I looked to my right and saw another violet. But this one was a lighter purple and was shorter with broader leaves than the blue violet I just drew. That's when I began to "catalog" flowers on their leaves, height, color, and etc. I loved figuring out that different plants, even though the same species in the same environment, could turn out differently depending on it's genes and physical surroundings. After that day, my life changed. I grew more confident in myself, I began to ingore those teases and stand up for myself, and I was growing ever so curious day by day in plants. I knew from that day on what I wanted to become: a botanist.

So, you see, reader? I long to dwell in the mysterious world of plants and catalog each one. I want to crack the different combinations and discover new species! The possibilities are endless. But I hope this journal entry, if someone as you so happens to read this, will understand why I want to become a botanist.

Oh, my goodness. xD I had so much fun writing this story for Florence.
