But I can't extend it further because starting tonight I'm going to be traveling until the 26th.
That would be absolutely fantastic! Thank you so much for the extension. I'll make sure to type and wrap gifts at the same time!

Please feel free to call me Aure or Aurora.

Owner Name:tiki11Name:ZaronGender: MalePersonality: Where to start, where to start..... Well, first off you need to know three things about this little boy so that you can begin to understand him. You'd think that a mechanical rune would be boring, heartless and detached, always listening and obeying orders. However, that description is completly inaccurate when it comes to Zaron!
Zaron is;
1. Myschevious
2. Intelligent (too intelligent for his own good)
and
3. Surprisingly Emotional
He lives in extremes, when he is happy he is REALLY happy,
when he is sad he is REALLY sad,
when he is up to no good, he REALLY is up to no good!
He doesn't change moods easily, which can be both a good thing and a bad thing. It can be hard to convince him to calm down sometimes, and this attribut also means that he isn't likely to give up on a prank either. You must be eternally suspicious, and be constantly watchful when he is lurking about, as he can easily pop up from anywhere to splash you. Of course, he only pulls harmless pranks, but still... Why do you wish to have him/her:I promised myself that if another Steampunk rune was made, that I would try for him or her, but this guy is beyond anything I could have dreamed of! Last year I went sailing with my class (I know, awesome right?!) and had the time of my life. It really changed me as a person. Before that trip I had never even seen the ocean, and had certainly never been on a sail boat! I LOVE all things boat and cannot wait to go back one day. This little boy brought back so many memories of my trip, and is still making me think of the adventures we had as a class together. I was anticipating an ocean type rune when I saw the Hammerhead Rune in the mix, but I certainly never imagined so perfect of a rune. Where will you keep him/her:Of course, I would make him a character page alongside my baby girl, Bronwyn! He would be loved and cherished and displayed everywhere. I would take care of him just like I do my little Bronwyn, they would be excellent friends. She might protest at first, but I'm sure that eventually I can convince her to take part in a drawing of both of them.... Would you like to breed him/her in the future:Well, seeing as he is still a baby, this would have to wait but it if you guys still do breeding or some equivalent on the new site, then yes! Any Quirks: Well, you'll see one of his quirks in the story below, but let's just say that he *ackhum* lights up the place!
Other than that quirk, he his a master when it comes wreacking havoc! Zaron seems to be bent on being myschevious, and stirring up trouble on the ships, at port... EVERYWHERE! One of his favorite activities/quirks include surprising unwary deepsea divers and peeping in the submarine windows. Poem:Deep, down There!Where heavy hearts SinkFloat up AboveandLearn to FlyThere is a story HereWhere the seaweed GrowsThe sour ocean cannot Overthrowour,Garden of Tales and WoesWe are not Trinkets Bought and Soldbut,Timeless Friends
Here to HoldWe share the Light of Laughterand, Past expressions that we Learn to LoveNot the Pain filled Sorrow of the Mechanical OceanBUTThe Caring Caress of the SeaStory: - If you can't learn how to control your !@$#!@%* eyes, then we'll all be killed!
Zaron shut his eyes, ashamed that he still couldn't control his lasers very well. He didn't "turn them on" on purpose, it just happened sometimes when he felt strong emotions. He could be laughing at a prank, or crying because he bumped his wing a little too hard, it didn't matter. Anything it seemed "set him off". The crew generally avoided him, in fear of being decapitated. Zaron groaned inwardly, after today none of the sailors would dare to be around him at all! It wasn't like he could learn how to control it though, because there are VERY few mechanical runes on board, and none that could teach Zaron how to control his eyes. So Zaron lived mostly in seclusion on board ship. His few interactions were unwanted as well, because he spent all of his time playing pranks on the crew. Granted, since he knew very little about what he could do (nobody on board had created him) he mostly learned from an impossible trial and error process. If he hadn't accidentally lit the sails on fire, he might never had learned that his eyes shot lasers at all! The great big burly sailor scowled at him,
- Why can't you just be like the other runes and do what you're told? It's a good thing that you were a gift to the Captin, or else I would've thrown you off the ship weeks ago...
Zaron resented the big bearded man's comment, he wasn't just a gift! He was no toy or trinket, he (in his earnest opinion) was a living rune who deserved the same amount of care as the other runes. But no, Zaron just had to listen and do what he was told, as if he was a tool, a machine! He didn't even LIKE the Captin that much, and avoided him as much as possible in fear of being used like a "Play Thing", a term that he had heard a big scary sailor use before, even though he wasn't sure what it meant...
Zaron made a disgruntled click-chirp sound in reply, and did his best to "ruffle" his metal feathers in protest.
- You're a hopeless bafoon! You will NEVER LEARN!
Immediately after, the sailor that Zaron now had dubbed "The Mean One", stalked off. Zaron vowed to play a mean prank on him later...
And so continued life on board the ship. There were always chores to be done, and things to be taking care of above and below deck. Zaron grudgingly completed his chores each day, welding things (when he was calm enough to do it) and did the bulk of the carrying of tools from engineer to engineer. He flew up and down the narrow passages, often bumbing into other sailors on his way between levels. He always felt immensally embarrased when things like this happened, and felt was often depressed that his wings didn't work as smoothly as the other rune's wings did. Of course, his wings were the best when he had to swim, but he wasn't as good of flier... When it came to working on board, the one reprieve that he had was that he didn't have to work in the kitchen often. He hated that place, and it's metal melting heat. His favorite place to be on board was the crows nest, where he spent the majority of his free time when he wasn't pranking others. Open spaces were his favorite, he hated working in small enclosed quarters (which he unfortunately spent much of his time working in) where he was asked to fix small leaks. He also loved exploring the depths of the ocean, and exploring coral reefs when he could find them. He always felt peaceful in the water. One scientist on board often asked him to retrieve plants or rocks (among other things) from the bottom of the ocean to study. Zaron loved these tasks, as it was one o the few times that he felt truly usefull. None of the other runes seemed to be able to swim as far or for as long as he could, though Zaron couldn't fathom why they couldn't. (Oxygen isn't a necessity to Zaron because he is mechanical.) The humans certainly couldn't get those things themselves either - without the help of a sub - so he was the only one that the scientist could constantly depend on. Zaron was pleased that the scientist never cowered in fear of being decapitated, and counted her amoung his closest friends. "The Nice Scientist Lady" also had a very pretty purple rune with her, of whom Zaron secretly liked. They played many great pranks together, even though the other rune was quite quiet and not very chatty. Neverless, they always seemed to know what the other was thinking. The "Pretty Rune" and he were great allies, as they had long since learned that they made a great team. She would disperse her mist and then he would play the prank, so that no one would knew who had played the trick! (Of course, everyone on board knew exactly who was playing jokes on everyone, but Zaron didn't know that.) His pranks were often elaborate, and involved many different moving parts with he would craft from any spare parts he could find. Once, he even maged to build himself a windable catapulet with a spoon and many other gear parts to fling things with. The most effective ammunition (effictive being how much it ticked off the crew) was either small chunks of cheese, stones or even bolts.
I would say that they lived happily ever after, but I don't know that yet, as there story has yet to finish. So instead I'll say,
TO BE CONTINUED.... There are so many stories that I could continue to tell you, but I just hope that you'll understand from reading this that you will begin to understand what their life is like, and who Zaron is to me.

Congratulations Vazchu!
You had a very detailed and organized form as well as a nicely thought out character layout for Nagazdiel. I loved the poem and artwork you made, very lovely!
As always, it was a difficult decision to make. There were some very good forms and everyone did a great job.
