Kuro kishi
"Which means black knight in Japanese."
I decided to name him this because he is black knight that in the darkness of the world he is the protector of others he cares about. When he was young he always liked to be the hero in the shadows, because when others would be in plain sight he much prefers the darkness where evil is great and he can protect others. So in the end, I named him Kuro kishi. His nicknames are Kuro, Kish, Kishi, and Kiki.

The tall grass was drifting silently through the pasture, and out to the orchid, were the blossoms bloomed.
It was early Spring, oh how I loved Spring, it brought so much joy to the garden, even the small green parakeets would trick me into thinking they were a flower, due to the fresh green leaves all around me, so they could reach the seeds that have been newly planted into the moist soils.

I decided to wake up a bit late so I could get a glimpse at the burning sun shine against the melting morning mist. I have always done that with my father before he disappeared with the petals. With in seconds, I was just on time to see the fading dew shine like a day star through the valley, it was one of the most beautiful sights I've seen, its light rays were so strong and long, that I could almost touch them. I have always wondered what would happen or of what it would be like if I touched them, would it burn my paw? would it sting me? or, would it enlighten me? Its hard being torn by the reality and the fantasy, but as my father always told me, "If you want your fantasy, believe with your heart to make your dream become the reality" and I have always remembered that ever since. I never knew what happened to my mother.
It was late afternoon by then. I had already done all chores that have had to be done, so what else could I do?
Through out the day, I have been talking to some of the garden animals, chittering there, and chattering here. But they appeared though to be bored of my talkative scene. And so on they scurried back to their little dens, and took an early nap, and so did I...

It was 5:00am in the morning, I woke up more alarmed than ever. For some reason I had felt this rush of fear and panic. I went to my window, and saw some treacherous machine of the sort, destroying everything in its path, a great black cloud of smoke and deadly chemical gases was sprouting above it, but yet spreading. The dark cloud was crippling all my flowers and trees! I quickly ran outside, I saw everything around me, black, dusty white, and grey. Barely a single drop of color as far as I could see, I checked my eyes in the mirror to test if I was colorblind or something close to the fact, I wasn't, it was all true. My shock turned into to anger, anger at the dark cloud, anger at the machine who created the dark cloud. As I looked above, it was still there, eating the sunlight out of the sky, I almost wanted to cry.

The next day, I woke up, looked out the window first thing. It was still, all, blackened shades of grey. I sighed, never feeling more suddenly switched in my entire life. I made a choice to go into the orchids, maybe by a miracle, a single splash of color, just, somewhere. I went through the orchids, and all that was found were dried, burnt, and ash covered blossoms, they didn't even look like blossom's anymore, but as I looked over at the garden, and the rest of the pasture, I find there will be nothing there either. Then, by the blessings and dreams of all the hope anyone could possibly ask of, there was a mango, there wasn't a single grown one in years, and to be more astonished, it wasn't grey, or light grey, it had color, its beautiful orange, yellow, and pinkish red tropical mixture of colors, were all there. I was so surprised she didn't even realize I was smiling nice and wide the whole 10 minutes of staring at gleaming glory.

I crouched my legs down and leaped to the gorgeous fruit, within a deft turn, I snatched the fruit off, even the stem clinged in my mouth as I grasped it was delicious, strangely. But suddenly, I turned around to see the tree I picked it off from, was blooming its color back, then its leaves grew green, and many mangos were blossoming out! then the ground was turning brown and the leaves of the other trees were turning spring green. And before I knew it the whole valley was breathing again with joy and laughter!
it all happened so quick just as it had when it turned all dark, and this whole time I could have just picked this mang--I looked down at the mango, it was blacker than coal, and had turned to obsidian. It looked like some very talented artist had carved a mango out of this certain black shiny stone.

I opened my eyes, and found myself on my bed, the velvet bedding brushing against my fur as I turned around. Was it all dream? Was all this just a wave of my imagination? I got up and leaped back onto the soft dusty brown wood floor, but as I was walking out my door, something caught my eye, I looked around to see what it was, and it left me standing shocked, staring at something so familiar it almost made me fall. A object, on my mini table next to the glass vase of roses, was the black mango.

I almost shrieked at the sight of it, I came closer and closer. Then, I touched it, but leaped back at the surprise it was real.
But it started to scare me when it was rumbling and tumbling here and there, and it fell off the table! I ran to catch it but it was too late. When it broke open, it was hollow inside, but had gooey mango and tropical aloe flavored juice spilling out. I went to get a napkin and clean up the mess, and when I came back, I saw a beautiful burning feather near the cracked obsidian mango. To my astonishment, there was a scorching tropical Pheonix pounding its wings, flying in and out of the room! I was so shocked at everything that the last thing I needed was a flaming Pheonix that came out of this hollow mango. Later on, it flew out the room, I sighed as I went back on my bed, staring at the ceiling thinking if this was even real, my imagination, or some how in the middle of nothing, true. But the Pheonix flew back in the room, this time with 7 feathers in its beak, I was backing away until it hovered above me, and dropped the feathers on my fur. When I looked up, the great bird disapeared, so did everything else, when I looked at my table, the obsidian mango didn't have a scratch on it, and the feathers were tied on me, 2 on my ears, and 5 on my tail. I poked myself,It wasn't a fantasy.

If you can think of a better name (e.g. Lana Banana), I wouldn't mind at all. ^^
kia' name;; Molten.
This kiamara reminds me of volcanoes, rocks, and lava. The proper definition of Molten is, "(esp. of materials with a high melting point, such as metal) Liquefied by heat", as well as melting.
gender;; male.
I can definitely imagine this kia as a female, but I simply see it as more of a male.

molten's big story;; It's long and painful. (749 words)
Molten woke up one morning, the sun beating down into his den. He stretched out, his silver fur glistening. "You finally decided to awake," said a low voice from his left. Molten glanced to his left to see his father- a bold kiamara, who looks almost exactly like Molten. They shared similar personalities too- both were tough, strong and athletic- as well as kind, gentle, cautious, and protective. But that's a whole other story- one that is completely irrelevant to this one. "Yes, I did," the young kiamara replied, stretching again. "Great- we're going on an adventure today," his father grinned, his teeth flashing. Excitement lingered in his eyes, and no matter how hesitant and worried Molten felt in the pit of his stomach, his heart told him that he'd be safe and secure. Letting out a sigh of defeat, the young kiamara stood on all four paws and flicked his tail. "Alright. Let's go, then," Molten replied confidently, shaking his pelt. His father beamed in pride and the two exited the den, picking up his younger sister and mother as they went.

It had been five minutes until they reached the volcano. This was Molten's worst fear- but it was also the thing that triggered his adrenaline. He shook out his pelt again, fear (and excitement) bubbling throughout his entire body. "A-are you sure this is safe, dad?" his younger sister said, her voice wavering slightly. Molten's father waved her off and grinned. "Of course, honey," he said, before trotting along the large bridge of the volcano. "Molten, you come next," he said, as quite reluctantly, Molten approached the unsteady bridge, which was merely a few wooden planks held together with wire. Gulping, he took a deep breath and closed his eyes. Without another moment of hesitation, Molten was crossing the bridge- and he was safely on the other side. "Well done, son. Ruby, you next- then you, my love," his father called over, as Molten shook in his figure. The two females on the opposite side obediently went to cross the bridge, as Molten's mind drifted to his own world.

A loud shriek sliced through the air, catching Molten off guard. He stood, staring at the source of the noise. His eyes were the size of tennis balls as the terrible vision invaded his brain. His mother was hanging to the wire with one paw, while his younger sister, Ruby, was clutching his mother's tail for dear life. Molten couldn't take the tension- he ran straight for them, hoping to grab his mother's hand and pull them both up. However, the idea was useless- he was pushed out of the way, and now he was hanging from the bridge. Molten's breath hitched in his throat, but miraculously, he was able to heave himself back onto the side of the volcano. Molten made a start to return to his family, but his father was now growling from him to stay back. Molten could sense this wouldn't end well, and when his father's paws began to skid across the wood, he knew what was going to happen.

His family was going to die.

Three screams- two feminine and one masculine- all filled the cold boiling air, causing Molten to shake even more. "Mum! Dad! Ruby!" he shouted, darting forward. But it was too late. A large splash signaled what had happened, and Molten fell to the ground, clutching his snout in his paws. "M-mum, dad, R-ruby..." he sobbed, tears trickling down his warm fur. They were dead- and he was an orphan, a loner. His fur was heating up, and the smoke was swirling around him. He could feel his vision becoming blurry and he knew this was it. He was going to end up with the same fate and his poor family.

But that wasn't the case.

Molten woke up hours later, his vision still blurry. However, everything cleared up, and he was staring into the cool eyes of an unfamiliar kiamara. "W-where am I? Who are you?" Molten murmured, getting to his paws. What he saw next caused him to almost jump out of his skin. His fur was no longer a beautiful, snowy white- it was a dark grey. "You need not know who I am, and you are safe. Go back to sleep, you need more rest," the comfortable, reassuring kia said, her voice soft and sweet. Molten- although reluctantly at first- obediently nodded and closed his eyes again, immediately drifting off into another sleep.
