Do you know what its like to stand in the rain

and only feel the sand

To feel like your flying
and you look down and see the ground
To feel like you could run and run

To feel like something is holding you back
and then it lets go and you miss it
To want to stand on sturdy ground

Shining bright with incandescent light,
I follow you into the dark.
Watching, waiting, fading
My heart beats for the aurora;
Dipping below the horizon,
The sun is gone.
My eyes search for you-
Where is the light I so long for?
Dusk settles,
Dust rises,
The stars come out to play.
Hoofs padding in the sand,
Glittering, twinkling, glow
Coldness comes and chills the air.
Crisp breezes, shivering.
Longing for the sun again,
Where is the heat of the day?
Breathing in and out,
Steam rolls off my breath,
Misty against the night sky.
Searching for Polaris,
It leads me home,
A beacon in the dark.
Chase;
Galloping towards,
I know the sun will come again.
A giant star,
The mark of a genesis.
Radiating from the East,
A new dawn arises.
Shining across the stratosphere,
Becoming more azure with every passing second.
Once touching me,
I feel your warmth fill me,
And I shine too.
Bounding, leaping, trot
Happiness overflows
Overjoyed
I ride your rays like a temptation,
I cant be held back.
We are one with each other,
The sun and the beacon;
Chasing a stark landscape,
Our paths forever revolve and sway with the wind,
Never to be retraced.
The crispness washed away,
The pulchritudinous star warming the air.
A new day has dawned,
Only to disappear with the dusk,
Alternating its role with my Polaris.

The earth meets the sun and the weather is warm.

Oh so much nicer it seems way out there,
What do you think is waiting for us in that mysterious land?

Where the sun drys the earth and leaves white sand under our longing feet,
Where the spotted horses run, their manes flowing hot breeze, their coats shining in the hot desert sun.
I see them..Do you?

I see those horses darting over the sand, their splashed coats providing vivid colors to the barron desert.
I see those blacks and bays, the duns and greys, all the spotted horses.
But there is always one.
One that shines out over all the rest.

That one Spotted horse that reflects all the glory of the sun that shines above him.
That one spotted horse who's footsteps are light, and dance across the sand with such grace.
That one Spotted horse, who you know stands out beyond the rest.
