♪ Why I want him ♪
Where do I even begin? First off, I love this species, who can't deny they are the most adorable thing you've ever seen? Plus, they are so unique, and I've admired them ever since I first saw one. I have been wanting one for the longest time, but I have been waiting for the perfect one for me to show up. Sure, I've liked some, but I knew there would be an even better one soon, and I know this is the one for me. (: I love his design, everything about him is absolutely perfect. The colors, marking and accessories all blend so well together, I don't who who wouldn't like this little guy. I would be so happy if I could call him my own, I would really be the happiest person on Earth! (:

♪ What I will do with him ♪
I'd be so extremely thankful if I got him, but i know there isn't really a big chance. If I did though, I would find a nice spot on my character thread for him, and I would get and make so much art of him! I'd even add more to his background story, and I'd cherish and love him forever. I'd draw him a lot, since I need practice on drawling another species besides canines, so he'd really help me a lot. Later on, I'd probably also hold a contest for art of him, and when I do art trades, I'll give everyone the option to draw him for me. But over all, he'd be loved and well cared for.

Personality
Ayden is a really great guy who you can usually find with his friends. He's very friendly and talkative, with a lot of energy. He enjoys being with his pals and having fun, running around, and especially, skate boarding and pulling pranks. Ayden always seems to have a smile on his face and is in a good mood. In fact, it's rare to see him sad or angry since he makes a joke out of everything. He's happy-go-lucky and very laid back, and is a big risk taker; not afraid to get into some trouble along the way. He goes with the flow and can always seem to put a smile on your face no matter how sad you may be. Ayden's also a very sweet guy. Yes, he may be a flirt at times, but he's very nice and always has his friends' backs no matter what. It's really hard not to like him!

Brief Background Story
"Wake up, wake up, wake up!" The yelling jolts him up and he looks around his room to see his two best friends, Todd and Dan sitting there with large smiles. Ayden may hate waking up early, but he's happy to see his friends. "Where's the fire?" Ayden asks sleepily with a half smile. "Today's the skate boarding competition, remember? We're going to be late!" Todd says. "Ya! And there's going to be a lot of girls there. Better go before they're all picked over." Dan says with a chuckle. Ayden's eyes widen. He slept in! "Well, uh, let's hurry!" Ayden says and quickly grabs his skate board, gives his parents a hasty good-bye, and they all rush out and stake their way to the competition.
"I hope we aren't too late." Ayden says as the arrive, but he's out of breathe from going so fast, so he pants heavily. "We're fine." Todd says as he examines the clock at the check-in booth. They all rush over, check in, and enter the skating park. They're all participating in the competition, but Ayden's been skating much longer than them both. How the competition works is you'll show your skate boarding skills to the panel on judges, they'll keep track of your scores, then they'll narrow it down to the top twenty, then fifteen, and go from there until you reach the top two. They'll compete against each other, the judges will give them certain tricks to do, and rate them on their accuracy. It's going to be hard, but Ayden's always up for a good challenge.
Ayden's stomach turns as the games are about to begin. "Do you think we'll do ok?" Ayden asks his friends. "Sure, you're better than the both of us, you're dads won this thing before when he was a kid, it's in your blood." Todd says as he fastens his helmet. "Hey, where's Dan?" Ayden asks as he sees he's no longer by their side. Todd rolls his eyes. "Probably flirting with the girls." "That's my plan once this thing is over." The both laugh and joke as the names are being called out to compete.
Todd's name is being called as Dan show up once again. "Good luck!" Ayden and Dan call out as Todd leaves. "There are a lot of good skaters here." Dan says nervously. "I saw when I left you guys, others were practicing, and I'm telling you, they're really, REALLY good." Ayden give him a nudge. "Hey, don't worry about it, just try your best, because even the best skaters can mess up." Ayden says with a smile. Dan nods. "Thanks." Just then, his name is called, and he too leaves Adyen. Another dragon shows up beside Ayden, he's much bigger, too, and doesn't look happy. "So you're Ayden? Aren't you a little small to be skating with the bigger guys like us?" He motions to his friends and gives a hardy laugh, but Ayden doesn't let it get to him. "I've heard the bigger they are, the harder they fall, so some advice to is don't mess up." Ayden says with smile. The other dragon scowls at him. "Just don't get in my way." He says with a snarl, but another dragon about Ayden's size pushes his out of the way. "Leave him alone Bruce!" "But..." Bruce begins, but she cuts him off short. "No, stop being so mean to people and talk to your friends or something." Bruce gives a cold look to Ayden before leaving.
The dragon looks at Ayden. "I'm sorry about that, he's my boy friend, and he can get a little jealous..." She says. Ayden smiles. "That's your boy friend? He's a keeper." Ayden says sarcastically. She laughs lightly. "So, you're Ayden? I've heard a lot about you, and I guess so did Bruce. Heard you're really good at this, even your dad's a champion." Ayden nods. "Well, I wouldn't say really good, but, ya, I skate." He shrugs. She looks at him, with an unbelieving look in her eyes. "Whatever you say." "Hey, I don't think I caught your name.' Ayden says. "My apologize, I'm Lilly." Then, Ayden's name is called. "Do good out there!" Lilly says as Ayden heads off.
Ayden enters the skating area, there are all sorts over ramps and things to skate on. He takes a deep breathe and presents himself to the judges. Once they give him to go ahead, he begins to skate. He doesn't mess up once, and about ten minutes later, they send him to the group who will move on to the next round. He meets up with his friends again. There, he sees Lilly skate. "Wow, she's good!" Dan says to Ayden and Todd. Ayden nods with a smile. She of course moves on to the next round, but so does Bruce and one of his friends.
Ayden keeps skating, but his friends don't make it past the part where only five dragons are left. The dragons are him, Bruce, Lilly, and two others. They all skate together, since there are so few left. Just as the round about to end, Bruce goes straight for Ayden, and they collide. Ayden blacks out for a moment, but Todd and Dan are there beside him, splashing water in his face. "Are you ok?" Todd asks with worry. Ayden rubs his head. "Did I win?" Then he winces with pain, because his leg is badly hurt. "Well, Bruce purposely went straight for you, so he's been disqualified." Dan says "Why would he do that?" Ayden asks, but he answers his own question. "He knew if he hurt me, I couldn't win either!" Dan frowns. "Some dragons can be so mean..." "Can I still skate?" Ayden asks. "I don't know, do you think you can?" Todd asks. Ayden nods, sets aside his pain, and pulls himself up. His leg aches, but he knows he can't quit now. "Who am I up against?" Ayden asks, seeing he couldn't have been out long because everyone is still here. "That Lilly girl." Todd says. Ayden nods and makes his way back to the skating area.
Everyone gives him an applause for still deciding to skate. Ayden looks over at Lilly but the happiness has left her face. Was it because her boyfriend can no longer win, or she doesn't want to go against Ayden? Whatever the reason was, she decided to skate, but she looked too side tracked, and thinking about other things, that she didn't do good at all. The round soon ended as it seemed she wasn't even trying, and Ayden was crowned winner and given a metal. Everyone gathers in a line to congratulate him, until Lilly's the last one there. "See, told you you'd do good." She said. "What happened out there? You were really good in the first round, are you alright?" Ayden asks her. "I yelled at Bruce for hurting you, and well, he broke up with me, and left me here." Ayden frowned. "I'm sorry, but he really never seemed like a nice guy, no offence." Ayden said trying to get her to smile. "Hey, what do you say you come hang out with me and my friends and we can watch a movie or something?" Ayden says, hoping to cheer her up. She smiles, and they all skate home together.
The next day
Ayden wakes up and decides to head over to Todd's house to hang out. He soon makes it there, and Todd meets him at the door, not looking too pleased. "What's wrong?" Ayden asks. "My mom grounded me, and said I can't go anywhere, not even your house, sorry." Ayden ponders on Todd's words for a moment. "So, you can go anywhere?" "Nope." Todd said shaking his head. Ayden then makes a sly grin. "So if you can't go to the party, we'll bring the part to you!" Ayden says happily. Todd smiles. "I see what you mean, come on in!" Ayden walks inside and thinks for a moment. "So, you'r parents aren't here?" "Nah, they're at my grandma's for the next couple of days. Then it hit him. "We could throw a party you know! Like you said! Invite everyone we know!" Todd says with excitement. "Get all the phones you got, cause we got a lot of calls to make!"
So, they call all of their friends, and tell them the party starts tonight at seven. "This is going to be great!" Todd says. "Aren't you lucky you got a friend with all the great ideas?" Ayden asks proudly. "I thought I came up with that...." Todd says. "Well... I gave you the general idea!" Ayden says, but Todd just rolls his eyes with a smile. "Sure, whatever you say... So anyways, who did you invite?" Todd asks. "Dan, Lilly, James, Ty, Luke, Hailey, Josh, Luis, and Mike." Todd's eye widens and he looks very surprised. "Mike!? That guys hates me! Why'd you invite him of all dragons?!" Ayden laughs. "I've got this under control, this is a perfect prank opportunity!" Todd lets out a sigh of relief. "Well, I guess that would be funny, what's the prank?" "The ol' bucket of water on top of a slightly opened door. It's a classic, and who doesn't like a classic?" Ayden asks. "Well, maybe not the best prank you've done, but still, it should be good. How do know it'll be him opening the door?" Todd asks, very unsure. "I told him it started at six fifteen." Todd smiles. "This is going to be good."
In the meantime, they decorate for the party, made sure everything looks good, places out food and drinks, until six o'clock rolls round. Ayden first writes on a piece of paper 'come on in', and sticks it on the door. Then, he finds a bucket and fills it with water. "Todd, lift me up so I can put this on top of the door." Todd hesitates, but obeys and Ayden gets onto his shoulders. "Hey, watch out for my face!" Todd yelps. Ayden laughs. "Oh sorry... Now could you stay still? The water's going to fall on us!" "Well sorry, it hard when your foot's in my eye!" Todd says. Ayden stretches and is able to place the bucket on the door securely. "There!" He says and hops down. Todd rubs his shoulders. "Much better..." Ayden rolls his eyes. "I'm not even that fat, now all we have to do is wait."
They both eagerly wait in the living room, watching the door. Each minutes feels like an eternity, but six fifteen eventually rolls around. They hear something outside and look at each other and then back at the door as they snicker. The door slowly pushes open and down goes the bucket, followed by a high pitched scream. They both burst out laughing. "Who knew Mike as such a girly scream!" Todd says as he laughs. "This isn't Mike!" A voice says angrily and the laughing quickly stops. Ayden walks over to the door, Todd right beside him, to see a soaking wet Lilly. Ayden is shocked. "L-L-L-L-L-Lilly?!"
"What was that about!?" Lilly asks, felling hurt, as if the prank was meant for her. "It's not what you think! Why are you here so early though?" Ayden asks. "I was hoping to hang out with just you and your friend before everyone else hung out with you and I couldn't get my chance... But obviously you didn't want that." She says sadly. "No, it was meant for Mike, really it was." Todd says, trying to help out Ayden. "You mean my brother? The yellow, green, and orange dragon?" There is a long pause. "That's your brother?!" Todd asks surprised. "Yes, it is! I really thought you both, especially you Ayden, were different, but no, you're just like the rest of the guys." And with that she quickly left. Ayden looks over at Todd. "We really messed up." "Yep." Todd says in agreement. Ayden sighs and says "So, you want some popcorn?"
later that night
When Ayden went home after the party, and tried to fall asleep, he couldn't. He felt bad that Lilly got caught up in the prank, and maybe it would be best if he made it up to her. After all, they were friends, and Ayden hates to disappoint his friends. He knew the next day she'd be at the skate park, and he would somehow make it up to her. Satisfied with his plan, he drifted off into sleep.
The next day, Ayden skated down to the skate park, and saw that he was right, and Lilly was there. He picked up his skate board in his mouth and walked over to her, setting it down by his side. "Hey Lilly, I just wanted to say I'm sorry about yesterday and all..." "Whatever..." She said, not even looking at him, avoiding eye contact. "Well, if you want to hang out today, I promise there won't be anymore falling buckets." He said smiling. "I don't know, I can't believe it took me until yesterday to notice you're nothing like me, and besides, I have a book club to go to, we're reading The Hunger Games." She said and began to leave. "Wait!" Ayden said and quickly caught up. "Wait! I love The Starving Games!" She looked at him with disbelief. "You mean The Hunger Games?" "Uh, ya, that!" He said, trying to look convincing. "Since when do you read anyways?" She asks. "Are you kidding me! I love to read!" "What about it do you like?" She prods at him. "The paper and the words on it." She rolls her eyes and smiles. "Well, I guess you can come along if you'd like."
The both skate down to the local library and join a group of dragons sitting in a circle on the ground. "I brought my friend who loves this book, hope that's fine." "Oh, that's perfectly fine!" one dragon says, she has a small pair of glasses on, with a pencil tucked behind her ear. "So, what's your name?" She asks Ayden. "I'm Ayden." He says with a friendly smile, and she passes him a book with a bird and an arrow on the cover. "So Ayden, tell me what you think of the arena they were put in?" The dragon with the glasses asks. "Uh... er..." He says flipping through the book. "What page is it on?" They all begin to laugh. "You're a funny one!" The dragon says and looks at Lilly. "What do you think?" "I think it was perfect for Katniss." She said. Ayden begins to laugh loudly. "Who names their kid Katniss?!" But when he notices no one else is laughing, he stops.
The book club goes on for another long hour, and Ayden is asked multiple question that Lilly helps him answer. When it's finally over, Ayden walks Lilly home. "You haven't read that book, have you?" Lilly asks him. "Truthfully, no, I just didn't want you mad at me forever, and I thought that might impress you enough to forgive me." She just laughs. "So... you aren't mad?" He asks her. "If you went through all of that for me, then no, it's all good now." Ayden smiles. "Good, but seriously, who names their kid Katniss?" He asks.
