The grass was dusted
With flakes white as diamonds
Soon after came the cold

As snow soon piled
The dust grew into small flakes
In intricate forms

A winter gust blows
Sweeping an endless snow fall
That falls faster now

Crystalline flakes fall
In large clumps of grey-white snow
Blanketing the ground

The wind blows harder
The sounds of the snow grow loud
The ground now was covered

The wind blows and blows
Releasing a ghastly gust
The makes the snow swirl

The snow is a storm,
A tornado of white,
A hurricane forms

This storm is deadly
It catches you in its grasp
Freezing and blinding

The snow grows thicker
It turns everything to ice
Clawing at trees' leaves

The storm soon thins out
You can see the sun again
To find a winter

This land of winter
It is a wonderful place
With graceful tidings

The land is turned white
The crystals shine bright and bold
The landscape sparkles

The trees are statues
Frozen in a stark white stance
Saluting the sun

The morning shines bright
Bright to the morning sparrow
To the morning hawk nest

The storm has gone now
The land is pure scape
Winter has arrived
