Kaydrys had looked over to the Chicoon joining them, greeting them with a smile and of course allowing them to tag along, though Kaydrys' mood changed drastically as they were finally able to read the note. The other Chicoon, who introduced himself as Sylvestris was reading along with Mystra and Kaydrys. Eventually when they finished reading, both chicoon looked over to Mystra, Kaydrys frowning watching her almost cry. Kaydrys' familiars definitely didn't like the emotions this note gave Kaydrys either, their lemine especially looking like they wanted to rip the note to shreds.

"No way, like you said yourself- it could be a trap. And even if it isn't, I don't want to accept any rewards from someone who insults my friends." Kaydrys stated, very firm in their response. "And if refusing this means this mystery ends early, that's fine by me." They moved to get up from the sand pit in order to leave, and Sylvestris gave him own two cents as he helped them out. "Yeah! Those Chinati have been mean this whole time! Maybe if they had wanted Kaydrys' help they should've been a little- no- a lot nicer!"

XXX“Exactly!” Gilia exclaimed in agreement with Mystra, her smile mischievous. As the note was revealed from under the blue sand, Caiman carefully approached it and, pausing for the other two to follow, began to read the note aloud. As the note’s author began to speak on Mystra, Caiman and Gilia looked at her questioningly, confusion clear on their faces.
XXXFinishing the note, Gilia turned, her wings fluffed, about to challenge their guide- she froze as Mystra seemed to collapse in on herself, muttering. Instead, the young chicoon reached a wing out and placed it on Mystra’s head comfortingly, assuring her, “No, Mystra! You are NOT an idiot- we wouldn’t be here without your help!! And you are apart of our team, we won’t be going forward without you.”
XXXEven as Gilia spoke kindly to Mystra, she shot a look at Caiman; clearly Mystra was not telling them everything. However, that didn’t mean they could abandon her, and obviously now was not the time to interrogate her. Gilia hoped her pointed glance had conveyed all of this to Caiman as he nodded at her and touched the nose of the center statue with his paw. “We’re gonna get that treasure, Mystra… together!”

Poppet, while reading the note to Mystra, noticed things in the writing and tone that were causing Mystra some discomfort and even a bit of sadness! She felt a white rage welling inside of her at the treatment, reading how Mystra was perceived by these others. Yeah she might be a bit odd, but they obviously didn't know her like the campground-goers did! Poppet asked Mystra to clarify a couple things in the letter, like what exactly the plans were, and if she was actually trying to foil them. If the plans were not good, maybe they should be foiled, Poppet doesn't know... Feeling that rage boiling, Poppet squared her shoulders and decided to move forward, if only to give these strange Chicoons a piece of her mind! With confident strides, she made her way to the center chicoon statue, and went to press the nose, only hesitating for a moment to wonder what exactly she was walking into. Shaking her head and setting her wings, she pressed....
