Who is your kalon's best friend, and why?

Being from a prestigious family, Sera unfortunately does not have much free time to go out and make friends. Being royalty, even though he is not the immediate heir to the throne, has too many duties for him along with strict parents, and has never quite been able to explore the world and meet people along the way. Any friendships he has made are usually short fleeting ones with maids or various servants that rotate the castle staff. If he had to pick one, however, he would like to think that his younger sister would be like his best friend. At the age of 8, she isn’t much of a relatable friend, however the two of them love each other, and have much more of a closer bond than any of the other siblings do with each other.

Even though Sera does not usually favor younger children, his little sister loves him dearly and he cant help but want to share time and secrets with her. She is the only one in Sera’s family whom he tells about Florence, and she thinks the two of them are an adorable couple. Luckily, she doesn't think it’s wrong like the rest of his family, and he makes her pinky swear she won’t tell anyone else about the two of them every time.

Mostly, they spend their time together in the castle gardens, poking around and playing in the flowers in secret, away from prying eyes or ears ready to eavesdrop on things Sera may tell her about his secret love. Often, they also will go horseback riding across the countryside together. She loves flowers just as much as Sera does, and the two of them have learned the best flower filled spots to retreat to and eat snacks together at. The two of them are a sneaky little duo, and she brings so much happiness to Sera every time that they spend a moment with each other.

P.D and Jessie


Honestly, Jessie is P.Ds best friend. Yes she knows that Baxter is one of her best friends as well but, Jessie is her best, best friend. They always hang out when they have free time, watching movies, drinking milkshakes and of course just hanging out in general. Walking through the city, traveling out of the city, traveling to different places in the world- exploring those places. P.D just couldn’t help but smile. Baxter did come with them on most occassions, but he was quiet. Jessie was more of an upbeat fun kalon, she did everything with P.D, sometimes leaving Baxter out.

For those reasons of hanging out and just being friends, Jessie is her best friend.

Marlin and Pea

Marlin walked up the stone pathway to his ranch style house, the mail from the day clutched in his mouth along with a pink carnation. The screen door banged shut behind him and he set the mail down on the table. Taking the flower, he went through the house and out the back door. His daughter Pea was working in her little garden, singing a song he had taught her when she was very young. She jumped as she noticed him there. “Dad! You scared me!” She laughed. “Sorry sweet Pea,” Marlin mumbled around the flower in his mouth. “Can this make up for it?” She rolled her eyes and took the flower. “I suppose,” she joked. He ruffled the fur on her head with his paw and trotted off toward the pasture where their horses grazed, thankful for the pretty little life he lived.

Haunani - Star Traveler

XXXXHaunani's best friend would most likely be her mate, Saturnalia. She had met her almost before she saw the star fall. She went to go find her again and had finally seen her. They both became great friends and Haunani found that Saturnalia hated her eye color, which only led to her wanting to be more friends with her. She loved her friend and finally decided to confess that she had fallen in love. Her love for Saturnalia made her want to protect her even more and she would never leave her behind. Saturnalia will be her mate, but will always be her best friend before anything else.

Day 9
Tell about a time your kalon had to travel, and where did they go?

"Good question. We've done so much it's hard to choose one. I'd say one of the most memorable trip I've been on is the time I took blaze down to Red Stone Canyon. 

She was still a baby to me though she'd grew a lot since I had found her. I think she was about 6 weeks old though I didn't know for sure since I didn't know how to tell her hatch date. 
She had only left the house on short trips before then so I though that it would be good to do something special with her for my Birthday. 
The trip to Red Stone Canyon was a long one though. It took use 4 days to get there through some pretty tough terrain. Blaze couldn't fly yet so she sat happily on my shoulder or in my backpack for safe keeping. 
Once we arrived we still had to walk around to the other side of the canyon because a lot of the rock was unstable to stand on.
Once we finally arrived we camped there for 5 days. On the second day of our adventure We hiked to the highest point to watch the sunset. The path was thin but it was the only way up so we decided to try it. 
That was another stupid decision for my collection. 
I had left my bag back at camp so Blaze rode on my back. As we neared the end of the path it crumbled under my feet and Blaze and I slipped down the cliff side. I thankfully landed on a very small ledge part of the way down but it was still so far that I was out cold for a few minutes. 
When I finally came to I looked for Blaze but fear filled my heart when she was nowhere to be found. My worst fear had come true. I carefully crawled over to the edge and looked down hoping to see her but she was gone. My one friend, the orphan that was in my care I let fall because of a sunset. 
Tears filled my eyes as I backed away from the edge and looked up the canyon. There was no way off the ledge except strait up the canyon wall and the one time I desperately needed my bag I left it at camp along with all my gear. I wiped the tears from my eyes and knew that if I was ever going to get out of here I was going to have to solo climb it.
I carefully stared up the wall knowing that one wrong move would definitely end up fatal. Testing each hold I slowly made it to the top and back on the path. 
With no other emotions besides sadness I stared over the canyon side. Suddenly I heard a chirp in the distance. I turned to the sound in disbelief and there in the distance was Blaze sitting on what was left of a dead tree. She chirped again and flew to my side. I couldn't believe it but she could fly. I wrapped my arms around her and promised never to leave her again."

my kalon calypso;; where they went.

my skin felt as if the sun was personally placing all its love in the rays that landed directly on me. my slightly damp paws pushed into the grainy yet soft sand below me. i hear the waves crashing and crashing, you would think something so destructive wouldnt sound so beautiful.
im chewing on some dried fruit the locals gave me when i arrived, claimed it was 'healing' and 'blessed by the gods'. i didn't beleive them, but now i'm not so sure.
i felt my chest and shoulders start to sunburn a bit under my fur, that was to be expected of course. it was basically boiling but in a good way? my body felt warm, not like it does normally this time of year. i am half way across the world after all.
as soon as i stepped paw into the warm ocean waters i felt my stress go away like the tide did. i watched as the waves got bigger up my legs as i walked further out into the great big blue. it was funny really, how something that massive and terrifying could be so soothing.
as i kept walking out i felt as if my old self stepped out of my body, and a new one came running in.
