As you wander through a meadow, you notice a bench that looks like someone left their bag. Going over with intent to return it to the ranger station, you notice that it’s only a single item: Duck Feed Peas! Well, with how much the ducks love them, maybe it would be best to just feed it to them.

Action: I gently scatter the peas I was given, not throwing too hard because I don't want to hurt or frighten the ducks

The ducks swarm to the peas, enjoying each little piece. As soon as they are gone, so are the ducks. Almost as a thanks, they left Duck Feed: Lettuce for you!

The Quack[TM] hears you. As you float down the river, ducks come to say hello. Suddenly, a loud HONK is let out. It startled you and as you look around, you make eye contact with who it was. A giant Canadian goose, wings flapping and hissing, chases you from the water. So much for a relaxing river floating. You look back and see the Foe glaring at you from the river.

Action: it's a hot day, so i decide to take a walk through the forest where i can be in the shade.

The shaded trees provide a nice cool breeze. On the breeze you smell something delicious. Following the smell, you find a food cart grilling different sorts of veggies. After some friendly conversation, she decides to share with you some Duck Feed: Peas. Enjoy your snack and sharing with the ducks!

after I am done I take a dip in the pond to cool off for the sun is high above and it has gotten hot and I offer the peas I got the day before to a duck that looks to be the same one from the day before

The Duck who posed before enjoyed the peas you offered. As you played and splashed in the pond they joined in. Eventually some honking in the distance spooked them. They darted off, leaving behind an Ultrasound!

Your resourcefulness worked! Despite the odds never having changed, the healthy picked snacks had done the trick. As you are feeding them, you notice your penguin and a small duckling playing around. Both swimming and splashing. As you are leaving for the day, you notice the duckling is still following you. It seems you’ve made a friend!

Apparently the ducks really like you, as they come and try to compete for your friend. Despite all their attempts though, they get spooked and fly away. Just as your confusion wears off, you see a Swan charging you! Just like the ducks, you take flight. Thankfully, your previous ducky friend swoops in and stops the Swan, allowing both of you to not be chased down. Whew!

(You rolled friend again, but due to the rules and wanting to spread them out for now, you’ve been automatically given a foe. Congrats on finding a new Foe!)

See, he needs to make friends with more birds, and there's birds here. So we put the healthy fridge snacks down with my penguin. This way, he makes a friend with all the ducks, but the ducks also get to have food without having to go next to a human if they're nervous.
