Quirks;; Apollo has a habit of lifting his right hand's pinky up no matter what he does, it comes from having scratched it pretty bad as a kid and the habit stuck even after he took his bandaid off. He likes collecting stickers and putting them on his belongings. He also tends to hum and whistle to himself.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxApollo has always seemed incredible goal-oriented. He hasn't always been the best with school work nor with other responsibilities, but his parents have let him pass because he's always showed a strong sense of willpower with the things that he does set his mind to. He's always been mindful of at least passing school and he's been pretty okay with fulfilling his responsibilities, he just never goes above and beyond with the things that he didn't choose to do. With the things that he does choose, however, he seems to become a perfectionist about, exhibiting incredible patience and sometimes even forgetting to take care of himself when he's trying to do his best at whatever he chose to do at the time. He's a little oblivious with other people too, never being sure if what he's doing is right and how the other person is feeling, but he always makes sure to at least ask because, despite not knowing what's going on, he cares and wants to understand. ⬛

Apollo remembers loving art for as long as he can remember himself. He's always loved staring at statues and paintings, not being sure how anyone could make something like that, and reading stories that have taken him to all kinds of places, but music has always been in a special place in his heart. He's had a vide variety of music around him even before birth, as his father is a member of a marching band and his mother is a hobbyist musician. His mom had always taken Apollo to his dad's shows and played songs on the piano for him. His mom noticed that he had a strong interest in music and found it easy to pick up the piano, so both she and his dad decided that Apollo should be enrolled in a music school as soon as possible.
Being a charming kid and with parents that are friends with the teachers, Apollo got to try out a lot of instruments. He even got to participate in what was called and "orchestra" in his music school, but it was a lot messier than a real orchestra. He got a lot of friends in his art school and, as he got older, he was allowed to try out more and more instruments, but none of them ever stuck that well. That is, until he was given to play the guitar. Soon after that, he also picked up the ukulele and went off in search of private teachers instead, because he found what he wanted to learn.⬛

Fears;; Apollo is incredibly afraid of rabbits. He was bit by his friend's rabbit pretty badly as a little kid and has been pretty scared of them ever since. He's also not too keen on small spaces and prefers stairs over elevators by a mile. A more subtle fear is that he's still a little afraid of the dark, but not enough for it to be obvious to anyone he hangs out with, especially since it's easier for him to deal with when in company.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxParallel to learning how to play instruments, he also learnt how to write stories and poems. He started off pretty rough, as most people do, but stuck with it, and slowly developed his writing skills. He did grand in literature because he could defend his opinions with a nice flow and good arguments, both of which stemmed from having written hundreds of stories he kept to himself. Around early highschool, he shared his poems with a few friends, which landed him in the underground poetry scene. It was incredible for him, to get feedback on his writing, hear about what others' have written and going up on stage to read his poems out loud once in a while too. It started off as him reading alone, a little shy, and slowly escalated to learning specific rhythms for his poems and even asking his friends to participate. The poems he read never passed just percussion on stage, but he tried to think of melodies to play to the poems that were best received outside of the poetry events.
Things slowly took off, and Apollo became something of an underground celebrity in his poetry circle. He also found more friends to practice music with, and started participating in jam sessions here and there. Sometimes playing small concerts with other people at cafes, other times he was allowed on stage by himself, to read his poems and sing his songs for everyone. It was all well received, but Apollo started wondering if he's really that good, if he could become a street musician for a while too. It didn't turn out great - he started off when the weather started getting colder and no one really stopped to listen to him. He got a few tips but those meant nothing to the now young adult if no one listened. Apollo returned indoors for a few more months, waited out the cold weather and came back in late summer, but this time with more experience. And it happened. People stopped and listened to him, listened to his words, to his soft ukulele notes and seemed to enjoy the peachy boy doing his thing. With a little more time, he met a few more people and sometimes did jam sessions outside, inviting anyone with an instrument to join in.
