"To Thorain, loyalty is your honor and your word. It is helping others when help is in debt and even when it is not.
But Thorain left those ways a long time ago. He is only loyal to himself. He has no honor, no word, and he only helps others suffer at his will.
He used to have honor. But he realised it was useless and left those ways many years ago.
He left an unforgiving family behind, along with an unforgiving King. The King was new to rule, but not ignorant.
Sometimes Thorain chuckles to himself in remembrance that now, the King was not quite different than himself.
His family is of course dead, at his own hand, nonetheless. But he feels no regret. He also feels no regret for the assassination of the King.
That was long ago and Thorain is now King. As he should be. They should all bow down to him. If they do not, he will simply kill them, as he has many others.
He has no honor to stand by, and even less of a word. He does not live in the Knight's Code as he once did. No, he is not who he once was."

What is this kalon's definition of "loyalty"?;; Loyalty? Loyalty is dirt. Plentiful and everywhere you step. It's an unusual weapon, it's useless most of the time though. Amara has never cared much for loyalty, she couldn't give less of a damn if someone was in allegiance with her or not. Correction, if you cannot benefit her and her alone, your loyalty is useless in every sense of the word. Her only goal in life was always survive then strive for more, she cannot do so if you add nothing to her quest or hold her back with your pointless task. She's loyal to no one but herself and never will be.

MMLoyalty is sticking by someone's side through thick and thin. Never deserting. Always caring. Loyalty is something no one deserves. It can't be earned, but people are loyal anyway. This, is foolishness.

Why be loyal to someone who couldn't care less about you?
Why be loyal at all? Why not do as you please without worrying about others needs?
No one deserves it. No one can. Everyone lies and deceives to gain your loyalty.

MMAll loyalty truly is, is word made to enslave the naive, and to raise the young to believe in, so that in the end, the smart ones, the bad ones, the people who know better have everyone else under their feet.

Loyalty is boring. Its riding the same wave over and over even as there are more exciting waves farther off. Rilo will never become loyal to anyone, he'll never a be puppy to anyone, never follow someone with a lovesick on his face. Disgusting.

For Rilo, the best thing is able to be free as the wind. Always on the run, raiding stores and banks, the adrenaline, this was the life. And in this life, there was no loyalty because it meant if you got food the next day or if you were food. It meant no restrictions and most of all no weakness. To Rilo, loyalty is weakness

What is this kalon's definition of "loyalty"?;;

Loyalty is compassion, you have to be dedicated to someone enough so they will remember you always. It can take many years to finally earn one's trust, only to forget about others years on. Loyalty is sacrifice of yourself in committment of others, putting yourself before others is greed and valuing others more than one's self, is too much viligance, either one leads to distrust and betrayal of each other. Though years attention to others, may be too long of a maturing, others can adapt in months or days upon meeting, these people however, surround themselves in overconfidence of the future of their relationship with one's self. One should never trust these people as faithfully as the comrades one has history with. Though sometimes loyalty isn't about that, loyalty can just be the simple measure of staying with someone to fight with them or defend them. However though desperate times, loyalty can betray you, as it watches your demise over the loss over ones you have fought and forgave. It can pain you forever for all it cares, that's how I learnt it.

Loyalty to them means up most respect for someone, it means to always have integrity and being incredibly noble, to always be by someones side no matter the cost or circumstance, to protect no matter what is at stake, to love someone with much compassion as to give your life to save them, to forgive all for their mistakes they have made and their troubled past, to love them for who they are and to not judge them on the chapter of their life you have just walked in on, to not wish death upon them no matter how mad you may get at them, to love them unconditionally no matter how much you have been hurt and to not bring up the past in anyway as to not hurt them and make them regret their past decisions as that we learn from our past mistakes to better us for the future.
