The world is such a curious place
Full of hurt and hate
But what do you think nature has to say?
This generation is such a disgrace
Our world has taken care of us
It barely has a chance to survive
But I will strive
The world is full of greenery and nature
It might last in the future
Yes, "might"
You heard it right
We don't know if the future is bright
"Might" has a meaning like a cloud
It's even a word, you can say it aloud
Say it for the world to hear
Either far or near
We need to act now
But we don't know how
Reduce, reuse, and recycle is what they all say
Although, most of our garbage is not thrown away
It ends up in oceans
Start getting into motion
We need to save the trees and grow new ones
Help the polluted rivers flow
Our beautiful world is hurt
From all the plants to all the dirt
This is a world for our children
Don't give them a world that is already broken
Bring them a world that's wonderful
Pretty, Breath-taking and beautiful
This is for us and them, to not let the world end
For the Earth, who is counting on us to defend

Ｃｈａｒａｃｔｅｒｉｓｔｉｃｓ:

Cruciferous is usually very charming and social
but if someone is harming the environment he will snap.
He has a way of lecturing people until they fall asleep.
Cruciferous absolutely loves the Earth and would do anything to preserve it.
He doesn't appreciate people destroying nature because he believes that it would be like destroying a soul.
He owns a flower shop that sells mostly calla lilys.
Cruciferous has always been very outgoing and not afraid to speak his mind.
He also started an eco-friendly club where people can share their thoughts on environmental matters.
Sometimes Cruciferous will spend his time collecting trash at a local park.
He has never been away from nature very long and if he ever travels, it is to look at exotic plants and animals.
Without nature it would be like an endless void in his life.

what must have been sunburn

I spend my lazy summer days at the lakeside,
riverside,
waiting away the hours until cool night air
rushes me home

Bird calls
Summer lights
Summer nights

Napping my afternoons in patches of daisies,
catching smooth scales in my jaws
and humming sweet tunes
over firelight

Aimless
I'll wander

It wasn't supposed to end this way,
With the sun shining bright and joy on our faces.
It was supposed to be expected,
we weren't ready for you to go.
You were supposed to stay here longer,
not leave when the day was young.
But I knew the timing was coming,
though it still hurts me so.

It wasn't supposed to be so fast,
going while we had turned our backs.
It was supposed to be dark and drear,
but the sky only shed a few tears.
You weren't supposed to leave us,
at least not if it was our choice.
But I knew the day would come,
I just wish it hadn't come so fast.

It wasn't supposed to be in panic,
calling for help and crying out loud.
It was supposed to nice and calm,
watching as you took your final breath.
You were supposed to be here for more,
to watch me grow and live and learn.
But I looked at you and knew,
your time was finally done.

Just know I'll always miss you,
and our times under the Sun.
All the lessons you taught me,
and moments we had alone.
I'll miss your smile and laugh and jokes,
without you here I'll miss it all even more.
I'm glad for all we did together,
I wouldn't give it up to stop the pain,
just know that forever in my heart you will stay.

Naughty little speckled trout,
Can't I coax you to come out?
Is it such great fun to play
In the water every day?
Do you pull the Naiads' hair
Hiding in the lilies there?

In some deep sun-glinted pool,
And in recess play at tag
