What's with the Bell?: It wasn't a bell originally...or that's what she thought. it was a fragment of something of a much larger scale that was secured and supported by ropes...or that's what she believes. Let's begin from the start.
Kiara's parents had always burdened her with high expectations and rigid discipline, and at a point in her youth she had snapped and tried to run along a creek near her school to get away from her life of constant stress and worry, when she found that when the creek sloped down, to a place she had never known existed, there was about five feet of tunnel that was peeked out from behind a wall built of centuries of dead and living grasses, beckoning her to its maw of emptiness. As a youthful child, she thought it might be a tunnel that led into a fictional world from books she had read before, and possibly a path to her freedom, and so she climbed down a steep slope shrouded in darkness, away from the light, into an approximately twenty foot tall tunnel that appeared to be an abandoned tunnel. It was silent, save for the steady drip, drip of centuries old water in serene pools on the floor. Starting to run, she tripped on a small boulder that seemed to have rolled in when the abandoned tunnel was submerged in earth. It was then that she found the discarded piece of rope and metal that made a beautiful mallet sound when rung. Mentally broken and in despair at the time, she wondered vaguely if whether it had once been a part of the whole, as she felt she had been. The discarded bell seemed to call to her, to speak to her with its marred, scratched and dusty surface. As she picked it up the rope disintegrated and turned to dust in her hands, but the bell remained sturdy and intact. A message for her. The world may crumble and fall to ashes, but she, like the bell, must carry on with the scars that life had gifted her. Thank you. Some may say it was the day she finally grew up. Others may say she is insane, carrying around a meaningless piece of trash. But she merely smiles and says simply, "It's what I chose."

"A connection to a piece of rubbish on a spiritual level" as she calls it now, but although she will never admit it to anyone, she has and will dedicate her life to finding the origin of her keepsake.

what's with her bell? A former christmas ornament, the bell hanging from Brie's neck carries the holiday with her, all year round. Despite it being somewhat unhygienic, Briallen will occasionally stuff small pieces of gingerbread men or cinnamon candies inside the bell, to contain the smell. But nothing that could alter it's cheerful, tinkling song. It can become irritating to those around her, but the sound of her golden bell rings constantly in her wake, and you can hear her approaching from a block away. She's tends to prance and bounce around, which doesn't quite help the cause. But nothing anyone around Briallan could say would deter her from wearing her bell.

Jessie also ways been referred to as an angel, angel child, got the heart of an angel, looks like an angel, if it refers to an angel he's heard it before. Hearing things that this throughout his life naturally got him interested in the beautiful spiritual beings and ever sense he had delved into studying them, and even to some extent, other spiritual entities. To go hand and hand with her Jessie has always been naturally superstitious and he has many quirks to prove it. His main one is always having a bell near by. Why?

what's with the bell? | Sal is very into exploring, to a crazy degree, they tend to wander off into the strangest places. Sometimes that's a cave on the side of a steep mountain, sometimes that's the freezer part of the supermarket. While often their human is not far behind there are usually still a few heart attacks to be had when Sal just suddenly reappears behind them. So to try and keep track of them better they were given the bell. It tinkles and lets Sal's human know if they're ahead on the path or two inches from their ear in a tree.
It also helps underpaid employees catch them before they get stuck up against the glass in the milk aisle again.

What's with the Bell?
The bell was a gift from his long term girlfriend before she got into a major accident which had actually killed her. Kiko blames himself for the accident because he cancelled their date last minute so he could take care of his sick mother. He believes it was his fault because she was walking across the street when a speeding car hit her. Her messages were open and she was responding to him. It breaks his heart to know that his true love is gone so he never takes it off no matter what he's doing. He proclaims that the bell is his good luck charm. He knows that he can never replace her.

What's with the Bell?

Arya is blind. The world to her is only sound and touch. She grew up listening to others tell her what she was missing; flowers in spring, the blue sky, Christmas decorations. In a desperate attempt to add something beautiful to her life, she began wearing a simple gold bell around her neck when she was very young. Its light and pretty chimes would sound whenever she moved and this sparked a desire in her to become a dancer. Now she is widely known for her graceful dancing and her accompanying bell.

While it could not fill the ache she felt for not being able to see the world, it is her own trademark of making the best of what you have been dealt. When she is not dancing, she enjoys public speaking and visiting mental institutions, to speak to those who are struggling, about her message of hope. Her bell still rests over her heart, making quiet colors for anyone who will listen.

What's with the Bell?

A few months back, Freia discovered a lost piglet. When she had called him down enough to catch him, she brought him home to raise. However, when she sat down to watch him adjust to his new home, he seemed oddly confused answer clumsy, running into walls and furniture. The next morning she brought him to the vet who informed her that this piglet was blind. She adjusted her home to make life easier for him, and after a few days, he became very attached to her. But if she wasn't already touching him and he missed her, he would squeal and whine until she came. Freia felt bad and decided to wear this bell so that anytime she moves, he'll be able to listen and find her rather than leaving him feeling scared and alone

What's with the Bell? julia is a cow farmer. she dedicates her life to these cows (well, also her other animals) she uses the bell to tell the cows that they need to get into the barn. She takes her horse out and rides around the pasture, ringing her bell. The cows know that this bell means that they have to get inside quickly, as there could be a storm, coyotes, or something else that threatens their life. The mothers lead their children and julia follows up to lock up the barn. lots of times, if its storming, she'll sleep on the loft. she has a make-shift bed up there so if a cow is upset she can be there for them. she loves her farm with all her heart and hopes one day she can raise kids to do the same.
