A faint whimpering was heard, along with the quiet murmuring of a mother. Inside, it was warm, but full of fear and love. The pup was crying, desperate for comfort. Thunder crashed outside, and the pup buried her head into her mothers soft, warm fur. The house's side was drummed with rain, and the pattern soon became less threatening and softer. The pup raised her head, and the mother whispered, "Isn't it gorgeous?" Huddled together, the two looked out the window at the dancing rain. It was gorgeous.
Marlowe remembers this specific moment in time, when she was a small pup. That stormy night, she learned that not everything was frightening. She's now comforted by the persistent rain, and loves listening to the rumbling of thunder. Marlowe quite enjoys the storms, and will often remember this important moment I'm the past while watching the curtains of rain splatter outside her window.
