My name is Dee as everyone sees fit, but really I'm Denald Renegade. People think I like space and all that stuff, but I like it down on earth where gravity keeps me down, in a good way. My family, they were so into all that stuff a family of astronomers, and simply it wasn't for me...Here's the thing I'm afraid of the dark. Go ahead say that the outer space is full of light and not really dark, but to me it's dark and what's out there or could be out there scares me. Go on look at me and call me a little child but really that's what I am. Only seventeen years old I'm still in school and I'm pretty normal in a sense. I'm into sports not the stuff like soccer, football, or hockey...But I like badminton and archery is pretty fun too but I got bullies, doesn't everyone in a sense? These kids I've gone to school with since I was barely able to do anything much more then throw tantrums about not getting that shiny toy at the store or that candy bar. For a while everyone seemed scared of the dark and most grew out of it while I did not. The teasing isn't bad, but the worst moments are when they'd pull on my feathers as they popped out of small dark spots. It hurt and soon I'd learned to hide them by gently tying them together with a band and then often wearing a scarf to his the ones by my neck yet the ones by my tail were not as easy so they continued to suffer. For this is a reason the dark still frightens me and my feathers are tender. I hate them being touched...No I don't hate them being touched I rather love them being handled tenderly and gently pet, but I only trust some people to ever do this. It includes my moms, my older brother and that's all. Yeah I grew up with two mothers and they're lovely and carrying. I couldn't have asked for better. My grandpa lives with us too and he likes the galaxy too, but he doesn't always talk about it. He tells me stories of the old times when he grew up and of war because I find it fascinating to see why war had started, the items used. It's something I love to learn about and then when I was a tiny child, with a obsession to dinosaurs that never faded, and a room filled of tiny figurines he'd drone on about silly adventures of these two he made up a Stegosaurus and a tyrannosaurus rex. They were the best stories ever and he even wrote them down in leather bond notebooks so I would always have them. As I grew older he'd make stories longer and more complex to help me learn.
