He tries way to hard to convince them by saying things like. 'Hey I'm just Derein ? I'm not a killer. hehe.' His laugh always scares them as he has a pretty deep voice. To also try he acts very overly clumsy as he will fall, and do anything to try to make him seem less scary. As for his looks he scares people either way. So besides his falling and stupidity, He will also try finding humor in the person even if it means saying some stupid cheesy joke like. 'you wanna know why skeletons are so calm??' 'cause nothing gets under there skin. heh.', 'A surgeon gave his patience laughing gas.' 'but guess what he didn't laugh do you know why?' 'He didn't have a funny bone. hehe.', and his favorite, finally he holds a fake spinal cord, 'I've got your back...'. Besides his humility Derein wishes that people would give him a chance rather than judge him, as for he just would like to be amusing.

what do they do to convince others that they are harmless?; Teshi tends to be of the humorous kind, never seen without a smile. He usually carries a pair of chopsticks to introduce himself, so others aren't alarmed. Why chopsticks you ask, well he got the idea from a movie named "Mulan 2". He shoves these chopsticks into his nose, and jiggles them, moving his face and nose in funny ways. It almost always makes himself and the other plumie giggle.

what do they do to convince others that they are harmless?; He likes to help anyone and everything. He usually helps randomly, even when people don't really need help.

what do they do to convince others that they are harmless; Romy isn't an overly friendly Plumie, which I feel should be mentioned. She is grumpy, miserable and fairly blunt with others around her, but she has quickly come to realise that this has made it hard for her to make friends. Despite being moody all the time, she is rather 'derpy' and frequently uses this to her advantage. She will laugh at simple things and is very motherly to young children, often lending a paw when they are in need of help. Romy also carries around a bottle of bubbles and usually wears bright, fun things (flower crowns, bracelets, silly costume) which not only contrasts her fur but also her characteristics. She doesn't consider the fact that maybe she is obsessive about making friends, which probably doesn't help her make them.

Malik wears a wide range of funny hats. He has dozens upon dozens of entertaining novelty hats. Top hats, wide brimmed hats, pizza hats, hot-dog hats, Malik has them all. Around these hats he creates costumes and outfits, Malik's two favorite outfits are a jester hat with an entertaining and whimsical outfit consisting of bright colors and lots of bells. His other outfit and the most common he'd be seen in is Malik's homemade mad hatter costume. It consists of a massive hat with all sorts of fun things adorned on top, a mismatching shirt with a vest and very odd colored and patterned pants. While dressed like this he often wears makeup. He loves making children smile and feels his heart swell when they want a picture. Malik usually works odd jobs but seasonally he works in a haunted house to put his scary faces to good use. Although Malik's dream is to create costumes for theaters and amusement parks. But until then just fun hats will do.(169/500)

They are harmless. He likes to wear clothes, that don't really fit his appearance

He sings to him. He has an amazing singing voice, and it 'soothes' people.

Soma doesn't do anything to convince you that he is harmless. But he also doesn't give you a reason to believe otherwise.

Soma's presence is hazed by a monotonous cloud of enigma. You feel his presence; free flowing and fluid like wisps of smoke. It shies away from your attempts to cast it away yet it still manages to wrap itself around you, unintentionally forcing its presence, his presence, to be acknowledged.

You feel him, you feel those desolate eyes piercing you from all directions, making the hairs on the back of your neck stand up on edge.

You feel it everywhere, you feel him everywhere, as if he is everywhere; omnipresent.

And indeed he is always watching, listening, sensing, feeling.

But curiously enough, never speaking, touching, reacting, intervening.

For you see, Soma is above all indifferent and objective.

There is no trace of a smile on his face when the skies are clear, and no look of concern washes over his features if he sees something wrong.

But there is also no malevolent glint in those empty eyes, and no glimmer of pointed teeth will flash through a crooked smirk at your misfortunes. On one hand he will not help you if he sees you fall, but then he would not knock you back down as you get to your feet either.

Thus there is no need for him to convince you of his intentions, or lack of otherwise, as you will never have anything to do with Soma.

Because Soma will never want anything to do with you.

So whether he could harm you, or could help you, or could approach you, or could befriend you is simply none of your concern.

Because Soma lives on his own plane; in his own time, by his own laws, transcending the workings of our society and our lives and our norms.

You are but a speck of dust in his absolute vision.

Because Soma does not live. He simply ... exists.

Bain is not harmful in the traditional way; a fact which he never bothers to stress, despite disliking times when others make decisions about his character based purely on his looks. There's no hiding the fact that his pitch black eyes complete with minuscule white ovals for pupils give off a more than unsettling vibe to strangers, for he stands out like a hypothetical sore thumb amongst the usually colourful species of plumerians.

However, this plumerian does make an effort to discard the false images of himself that others see, and he does this in the one way he knows how; cracking jokes and making terrible puns at every moment, much to the annoyance of his friends.
