Rush has had a past on his own -- when he was younger, he was eager to make friends; perhaps too trusting, as it seems. Most people tended to let him tag along and then would abandon him when he tried so hard. He has grown to become longing for a best friend; someone who will be with him no matter what, and who will not gang up on him when he is alone.

Rush has always been unstable in his personality; he will react on instant, not thinking before he says something. He could snap a retort and immediately regret it, and while his mind was still in confusion he would upset many people. His mind would become even more confused until he would eventually sleep it off.

Rush is especially shy. He certainly wasn't before, he was the most outgoing Plume you could ever meet, but he has now retreated into his shell and is normally not the one to make the first move in a friendship. He doesn't feel confident towards strangers, and seems to avoid crowded public places.

personality. horace when you first meet him, is quiet. he rarely talks, and many believe that he his mute because of this. but once you get to know him more, he always smiles and is very outgoing. he is easily impressed when someone tells him something interesting or something he never heard about, or if it is related to mechanism or technology of any form [modern, steampunk, etc.], since he loves that topic/subject very much. horace is a very, concentrated/observant plumerian who gets his work done carefully and perfectly,as he pays attention to the smallest details [he can spot a small tear in a carpet]. he is a hard-worker and is very loyal, but he can be a bit distant, straying away from other plumerians, and a bit narrow-minded.

why mechatronics. on horace's pattern, there are small gear-like markings on his tail, shoulder, and back, which seems to say as if he was destined to be interested in technology, or mechatronics specifically. as a young plumerian, horace's father was also, interested into mechatronics, and the pair would usually talk about it during meal or free times. as horace got older, he also developed an interest in the outdoors, such as camping, and joined the 'boy scouts'. enjoying both the outdoors and mechanism, he decided to make his final project as a wooden music box, with a recorder that would be turned on by simply turning the pin on the side. from that day onward, horace has never stopped making things that can be fueled with energy or manually, and keeps his green-and-black striped, boy scout scarf around his neck.
