Gender; Male
Favorite Christmas memory;
Cannelle bounded down the stairs, his tail jingling as the small bells tied to it moved with him. "mom! Mom! The timer went off, the cookies are ready!" it was Christmas Day, and the beans spirits where high. He expected cookies to be made and presents to be set under the tree. The presents, following tradition, would only be opened after the cookies where baked. "one moment, dear. Go check on them." Cannelle was already skidding into the kitchen, his light golden eyes bright with excitement. With a giggle, he pressed his paws up against the glass of the oven, humming 'jingle bells' to himself. Where the cookies supposed to smoke? He tilted his head and quickly opened the Oven, reaching in with the baking mitt to pull the cookies out himself. They where a bit crispy and burnt, but that didn't stop the young bean. The mocha colored creature laughed and called, "Mother, we've burnt the cookies!" there was a pause, then paw steps approaching. "oh, goodness. Have we?" Cannelle nodded gently. The sugar cookies, shaped as gingerbread men and trees and bean heads, where just a bit singed. He scooped one up and nibbled on it, expecting a gross flavor to flow into his mouth, since he'd never tried a burnt cookie before. Instead, he found it to taste better than usually cookies. It had a nice tinge that reminded him of when he breathed small plumes of fire, which was all he could manage, little lukewarm plumes. Cannelle smiled and looked at his mom as she walked in, giving a gentle laugh. "sweetheart, we can make another batch, if you'd like." Cannelle shook his head and took another chomp out of his tree shaped, burnt snack. "no, it's great! Try one!" his mother crinkled her nose and giggled, "it's alright, Cannelle, you can have them. Now, why don't we go open the presents Santa got you?" Cannelle gave an excited wiggle, his ears pricking, and bounded out of the room, right to the tree where the presents perched.
