" I have a couple of Hobbies. They include Painting, making Oragami, and Playing the piano, not a regular piano but you know, one of those electric pianos. Many people say I was born with a gift to paint. I honestly think that there are way better artists out there! Second, I like to make Oragami. I'm not very good at Oragami, like I can make swans and frogs and stuff, but I really want to be able to make a dragon one day! Then, finallyI play the piano. I have an electric piano that can play funky beats, like it makes the noise sound like a trumpet! It could sound like anything! I can only play around 5 songs, but I still think its fun to play the piano!"

They include Sticking my tongue out while concentrating,whenever I sit, my legs are sprawled out so my feet/paws are sticking up in the air, and also drawing in every notebook. I would be listening to someone talking and next thing I realize I'm doing is Drawing in my sketchbook! I don't know, guess I'm special for that!"

I'm Male.

Most describe me as a enthusiastic Kia, I'm always wondering the mysteries of my world. Though I can be a bit shy, hiding away like the alleged "pot of gold" at the end of a rainbow. I always have a bright outlook out on life, though that's quite ironic because I'm color-blind in my left eye. So overall, I'm quite a different Kia, though you've got to admit, since when do you see truly rainbow Kia everyday?

What exactly is a "Rainbow"

A rainbow is an optical and meteorological phenomenon that is caused by reflection of light in water droplets in the Earth's atmosphere, resulting in a spectrum of light appearing in the sky. It takes the form of a multicoloured arc.
Rainbows caused by sunlight always appear in the section of sky directly opposite the sun.

In a "primary rainbow", the arc shows red on the outer part and violet on the inner side. This rainbow is caused by light being refracted while entering a droplet of water, then reflected inside on the back of the droplet and refracted again when leaving it.

In a double rainbow, a second arc is seen outside the primary arc, and has the order of its colours reversed, red facing toward the other one, in both rainbows. This second rainbow is caused by light reflecting twice inside water droplets.

Did you ever feel so lonely that you were lost in your own world? That's how I'd always felt, but I guess that was normal for me. My life started out pretty rough, ok, really rough! I was an orphan as a younger child, and I don't remember much about my life back then. I never thought I'd look up until the sun shone on one particular person, Daddy JJ. The one person who made my life a splash of sunshine and rainbows!

When I was first discovered by my new family, it was a whole new experience and I was not used to it! But once I got more used to this new life, I really loved it, and my family even helped me to discover my new hobby! I started to become more and more madly in love with spin art, as it was my only reason to stay up all night long. I guess you could say I'm nice, until you work together with me.. that's a disaster, I have the habit of getting REALLY bossy! I love quotes and stuff like that, and can tend to be a very sophisticated young fellow. I love to sketch drawings, due to my artsy, crafty personality! Other than that.. there's not much to me, just an ordinary girl, no different from a girl with a hobby, and a dream.

Hello journal, it seems like you are the only one that will listen to me nowadays, with father dead and mama sick there is simply no one left.
Earlier today mama said something really weird today, something that has got me thinking...
I was reading her my favourite book, the one about a butterfly that lost its way, remember me telling you about it? Well, anyways I was just about to finish when mama grabbed my arm. She stared right into my eyes, with an intensity that I didn't know they had. " Baby, you are my light, my last love" she murmurs. I stared at her blankly, because what she said made no sense to me. She pauses and thinks. "Ahhhh! You still don't know what your name means!" She cried. I squint at her, worried, maybe she just needs more rest. I get up to tuck her in. "NO NO NO NO!" She says urgently, pulling me closer. "You thought that your name had a pretty ring and that's all, correct?" I nod slowly. "No baby, I had to name you something with meaning, you were too special to name something irrelevant. I named you Leora meaning "my light", because that's what you are." She sinks deep into her cushions, relaxing, suddenly very tired. "It time to go to bed mama" I say kissing her lightly on the head. She smiles sleepily.

You see this has gotten me thinking. Mama told me when I was born I was pitch black, so why would she name me something about light? Maybe she named me that and I just kind of grew into the name, you know the things people say about that kind of thing.
Before yesterday I really hated my pelt. It made me stand out too much, I felt that I had way more pelt then personality. People would walk up and talk to me because they just assumed that I was just as bright and bubbly as my pelt. These encounters would lead people to tease and taunt me. They would yell at me, saying that I was so ugly that a rainbow was so over whelmed by my ugliness it couldn't help but puke all over me. So many hours of stress and worry was caused by my pelt.
But then again mama said that I am her light, so somehow I must have some sort of light in me. Some sort of spark.

Hello, my name is Splash. It's very nice to meet you. I'd like to introduce myself correctly, so if you don't mind, I think I'll start off with my full name.

My full name is Splash Kiara Myrai. I'm not sure if it means anything in another language, but it means a lot to me. I'm a female, by the way...if you were wondering about the middle name, of course.

Now, I'd like to talk about my personality, if that's alright. I'm a very kind Kia, and act very proper. I was taught to do so by my beautiful parents, so it's stuck with me ever since. Though, I will start acting un-lady like when I'm in the zone. But I'll get to that later. I'm also sweet, shy, sadly persistent, and finally jolly!

I'm going to wrap this up soon, since you wanted a short introduction. I like to listen to music, read, take long walks around the local lake, and paint. I love painting the most out of all of my hobbies. I guess it's a coincidence that I was named Splash and had rainbow on my fur! A quirk though is that I'll, like mentioned before, act a little different when talking to others while I paint. It just...ruins my concintration!

Alright, I don't want to make this TOO long, but I'd like to add that I actually have seen a phoenix before. I know it sounds crazy, but it's true! It's a big secret of mine, so you're really lucky that I told you! Just make sure it stays a secret.....please.

One more thing....I hope you enjoyed learning about me and my life! It's not really a life story, but hey! You got to know me a little better, and hopefully we can talk more about my life sometime later! Oh no....those last few sentences sounded a little too casual....I meant to sound more proper....oops....

I chose this name because when I saw him, my mind wondered how he got those beautiful streaks representing each color of the rainbow. My mind began to wonder how a rainbow was made when I finally found the perfect name for this Kia, Wonder. Everyone else seemed to have names connecting to rainbows or beauty, but I decided, hey! Why not try to think up a name on your own instead of searching the heck out of Google for Japanese translates!

I love the name, and I just think it fits.

Personality
Delaney is fiesty, fun loving, free spirted, and mostly easy going. She is very friendly and is the first one to jump in and help out anyone with anything. She loves to daydream and has been known to sit for hours lost in her own imagination. She is also very creative, and her day dreams usually manifest themselves as paintings, drawings, or stories that she loves to share with anyone who will listen.
Despite her easy going fun loving personality, Delaney is also very strong willed. She will never back down from a challenge and loves to do things people have told her are impossible. Others are often surprised by her tenacity because she is usually so laid back and fun; but give this girl a challenge, tell her it can't be done, and watch as she proves you wrong.

Why I'm trying for this Kia
I've been watching this thread for a while, and while all of the designs are amazing, I've been waiting for one that really "clicked" with me. It's actually funny that I found her. I was coming to the thread to look again at 2 others that caught my eye, saw this post and kinda flipped out. I LOVE rainbows, but...not all over the place. Oddly enough, I love them with black and she is the perfect balance and is just stunning.
