My username is Ittam. Why is it called Ittam? Why, it's named after my guitar of course! When I was younger, I had private guitar lessons. Back then, I didn't care much for it. It was just a hobby. Years later, I forgot how much guitar meant to me. So, I gave my guitar a name and have been using it ever since.
"If you don't mind me asking, what is the name of the dragon you are competing for?"
His name is Flow Tidetus. Oh, what a friendly guy he is. I'm going to name him Flow for several reasons. First off, the definition of flow.

All of these words describe Flow completely. He's an all around flexible guy . . .with a great attitude. He is almost never bothered by something and is never stressed. He's. . . well . . .flexible!
"Why did you choose that name? It's quite odd, isn't it?"
Why I named him that? Actually, it's because two reasons. The first reason is because of a two characters. The first one is Yuma Tsukumo from Yu Gi Oh! Zexal.You see, this character is a determinator.He never gives up, and always tries his hardest. No matter what. If he has to go through thousands of armies to save a friend or to find out more about his parents, he will. That's a trait I really want exposed in Flow. Also, Yuma's catchphrase is "Kattobingu" spirit ("feeling the flow" in the dub), which is also going to be Flow's catch phrase.
The second character Flow is based off of is Dave Strider from Homestuck. Sure, he may be a bit of a bad influence, but Dave is all about being cool. Flow, is all about cool, hence why he wears the sunglasses. The third person Flow is based off of is a friend in real life. Despite what life throws at him, he stays strong and encouraging. He may seem a bit shy at first, but he's a great and awesome friend.
Young? He's about 18. However, they way he acts would make you think he's much older. He's a respectful mane for his age. However, he does have some childish moments.
"Excuse me, but what gender are they? I can't seem to be able to tell."
Oh, he's a male! Yup, yellow females are nice and all, the the pale blues and sharp yellows make him seem so boyish to me. No to mention I feel that the certain tribal markings he has makes him really seem boyish. Not to mention the cool glasses are in the men's style, not females. So I assumed that he'd be a boy, but I believe he can still be a girl too.
"What are his favorite hobbies?"
Surfing
How could he not surf? He loves surfing because it's very tricky to do. At first, we really wanted to give up. He despised it with every fiber in his being. Every time he did it he would wipe out and crash. He then remembered why he was named Flow and decided to keep at it. Even when everyone at the beach was laughing at him. He kept trying and trying until he caught a little wave. It was only a foot tall, but he rode it. After seven months of non-stop failing, he finally did it. Now, I bet your thinking he now surfs any wave, right? Nope! He's so scared of making a mockery of himself that he only rides big waves. Though, he still thinks he's a big shot. Or at least, when he's alone.
Swimming
Yuss! Another water sport! Though he doesn't like this one as much as surfing. However, everything is better when friends are involved.
Knitting
Yup. Flow likes to Knit! It all started a few years ago. When Flow was a young dragon he always respected his elders. So much, that they could say anything and he'd believe them. One day, Flow listened to an elderly woman walking about knitting and how it sharpened the mind. Wanting to prove that, he went and bought himself some knitting needle. No, his mind didn't sharpen but he did find a cool new hobby.

I love nature. Especially the nature of the waves! This totally isn't the way Iris sees nature, but I could care less. You can basically feel her love of the outdoors like you can feel the ocean spray all over your face. Trust me, she's feeling the flow alright! Not only that, but he's really bubbly!

Indeed he does! His jewel color is a nice, cool, refreshing blue! Why blue? I don't know. But it looks good on him. As we all know, blue jewels can breathe and control water. How cool is that? This is extremely useful when it comes to swimming and breathing under the water. Not to mention he probably could use it for healing powers if he really needed it. Or, he could use it for survival if he was really thirsty or too lazy to get off the couch. Yup, a blue jewel fits him, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
"Hm, speaking of jewel colors, if he could change his jewel color, what would it be?
"Oh, me? I'd have to say these colors. Prepare for a long list, sir/madam!"
Red
"Ugh, fire. Sorry, but I don't like red jewels. The flow is really going against this one! They're too fiery and get upset for nothing. Not to mention red is associated with anger and pride. Sorry, not for me. I'd rather be caught dead then to have a red jewel. Oh, gosh. That sounded really mean. No offense red jewels."
Orange
"I feel that this type of jewel is . . patronizing. I mean, don't get me wrong. Orange is my favorite color, but control over night and day?! That's like, god-like powers! That sounds awesome without context, but . . just not me. Also, how does more then one orange jewel control night and day? That jewel sounds much too confusing for me. *sighs* Breathe in and out. Let it flow away, you'll have worries another day. Sorry. I got stressed out a bit.

"LET THERE BE FOREVER SUN! Golden flow for life! Now, yellow is a cool jewel color. For me, it'll be awesome to have a yellow jewel! I mean, yellow, yellow yellow! That and I can control light?! I could make it summer forever! The plants can always shine and I could always go to the beach! That's totally radical!

"Um . . .it's an interesting jewel color. No really, it is. Helping plants grow is something that's pretty awesome, but I feel that's more for a spring like dragon. Not for me."
Purple
"Yeah, purple. I really wish I was a purple jewel. Okay, not really wish wish, but it'll be desirable. I'd love to see in the minds of other manes. I'd like to feel their feelings. . .so maybe I can help them. It doesn't really seem practical, but if it can help make the world a better place, then I'll do it. Cliche as heck, but that's how I feel. Purple really makes me feel the flow!

"This is actually a cool jewel! Get it? I rhymed and it's a--oh forget it. Anyway, since it is similar but different to a blue jewel, I think I'll like a white jewel as well.
"Can you describe how they look?"
Well, he looks like a blazing yellow dragon that's all fluffy! Okay, he's actually very sandy. However, his markings are a blazing yellow. On his face appears to be a mask similar to the masquerade parties. On his snout his blue wave (I'd say waves, but he doesn't like fire) reaching all the way up to his blue jewel. On his forehead rest radical glasses gleaming in the rays of gold. On his back is a tribal marking of a sun. After all, he does believe in the tribal ways. His belly is a softer yellow and I'm most certain is it a sandy color.On all four legs are a tiny golden sun with waves all round them. His wings are blue with yellow insides.

What truly makes summer a summer
"What are they like? What is his personality?"
He always has enough energy to last a day and a half! But he has to because of all the sports he's doing. He also has energy because of the "flow". That motto of his can keep him going for a while because he never gives up. Speaking of which . . .
Like I said before, he never gives up. He believes life is an ever growing stream. You just have to feel it. You can never feel it if you give up. That's why he won't. Not to mention that it's hard to change his mind once he has his head set on something. However, if it has to do with friends he's pretty flexible.
Believe it or not, Flow isn't really that smart. He spends most of his school semester thinking about summer. He can calculate the height of waves, and how much it cost to buy food, but that's about it. He doesn't see the reason why the school has to teach kids and dragons to much about things they won't even be using. Of course, this is not my opinion.
Flow is one of the most loyal dragons I know! He always sticks with his friends and even people who aren't his friends. He says "Follow your friends like you follow a river." He can't imagine life without friends, so he tries to keep the ones the has. They are important to having a great summer.
Flow always believes in keeping calm and carrying on, but why does he say that? Well, it's because he has a horrible temper, and he knows it. He will yell at you so much the waves will go back towards the ocean. However, after yelling he really does become "bummed" out. Just don't insult his friends. That's the only way to "stop the flow" of things.
"Speaking of summer, why do they like it so much? And what's their favorite part?"
"I like it so much because it stands for freedom, fun and friendship. Sure, it's hot, because that's because the sun is finally feeling the flow of true freedom. The spirit to do what ever you want. The spirit of adventure and risk. Not to mention I get to finally relax and have some time with my friends. My favorite part would be a tie between the sun and my friends. Sure, I can see my friends anytime, but in the summer we can do all this wicked cool stuff. And it'll be hot so we can all chill together. I just love the sun though. It certainly is a star worth attention. It brings warmth to the extreme during the summer. That has to be because it's happy, right?"

Tribal is a pretty cool thing to be able to make once you get the hang of it. Not to mention he's my favorite colors. I also am trying to have a theme with colors among my dragons. My black and white one signifies the simple and yet complexities of life. He was my first JMD, and he thought me how if you put your mind to it you can do anything. Jacki, my brown one, signifies the effort and reward of hard work. When I one her, I learned how to manage my time and to relax a bit. There isn't much rush in life. What I want Flow to teach me to have a bit more fun. Lately, my studies have been taking up most of my time and I barely have time for anything else. If I win Flow hopefully I can do so.
