Story: After the car crash all hope seemed to fade. I was always the pretty one, the smart one that every loved. I was popular, I was in control. It all started one crazy night when i got into a car I really shouldn't have. My friends where drunk, then again so was I but nothing mattered but having fun.

I don't remember much about the crash but I remember waking up, the pain that shot through my body. The stillness of my body below my waist. My scarred and pale face in the hospital mirror. They all said I was lucky, luckily to be alive but I wasn't! I was trapped! Trapped in my own body! I used to be athletic, now I can't even feel my legs, they no longer exist to me. You couldn't possibly understand what that was like. My faith slipped, I lost all hope and in the end I even tried to finish myself off.

My mother found me, luckily. Counseling was a waste of my time, they couldn't help me and they knew that. I hated the city, I hated it all just like I know hated myself. Lucky for you this story isn't about me, but about a beautiful horse. I met my Saving Grace one weekend on my uncle's farm. My mother had sent me away, she couldn't handle it anymore. Grace was in the field from the moment I got there. My Aunt would often take me out in my wheel chair to go watch the horses running out in the pasture. After a while Grace lost all nervousness of me and gave me a will which I hardly remembered. A will to live.

Years have since passed and I'm still here on my Uncle's farm but everything has changed, here I'm with my hero, my Saving Grace.

I think people who have entered still have time to finish their stories, because AmigoGirl has not officially said she is judging now. Its just that new forms are no longer accepted because we are on page 5.
