Reaction: Mischief is absolutely not crying because they missed. They rub their face but nod at the request, wanting to try again. They turn while still not looking and bump directly into Mango who wraps an arm around them to keep them from falling over.

"Hi Slush Puppy, Hey Mischief-- whoa what's wrong?" Mango looks concerned at their close friend, he knows they aren't prone to getting worked up.

Mischief takes out their notepad from a waterproof pouch and scribbles a note to bring Mango up to speed.

"Aw okay we'll go get Slush Puppy and Froge's lunch then you can give it another try alright? I'm sure we can figure out what's up together!" Mango smiles to their close friend, leading them off to get the barbeque for the booth runners to have their lunch break.

Mischief sniffs nodding as they follow close to Mango heading off to get the food so they can make another try at the booth with their friend there to support them. They aren't sure why they need to win so desperately but they do. They just want to make one little hit on the target is that so much to ask for? They press into Mango's side as they walk, the other is an immense comfort while they are upset.

Prompt: Mischief honks indignantly at Froge, that wasn't fair! They notice their friend Mango and wave him over. They point to the currently empty dunk tank then scribble a note on their pad showing it to Mango.

'Can you take a turn? I'm tired and Froge is tired too.' They give Mango their best puppy dog eyes, big wide innocent eyes just begging for mercy out of the plush chicoon.

Mango looks from the tank to Mischief and with a sigh nods.

"Alright I'll take a turn being dunked but you have to help me dry off later my cotton's going to be soaked!" He laughs moving to climb up into the chair taking the roll of dunkee for a little while to give their close friend and Froge a chance to rest. Unlike his friend he cheers and encourages the people to dunk him. As much as he doesn't want to get wet he doesn't want to disappoint the players who clearly want to win the game.

Mischief sits sipping a large soda from another booth to sooth their sore throat from honking at everyone for so long. Their little nubby tail wags happily as they watch their friend enjoy themselves up in the dunk booth, at least he's taking it in good humor.

Reaction: Jason rolled his eyes at this, but hey, he was getting hungry and barbecue actually didn't sound so bad. He could go pick up their lunch, provided they pay for their own food. He rubbed three fingers in the typical 'money' gesture back. Slush and Froge look at each other and shrug, handing over some cash. They also handed him a scrap of paper with their orders on it. Jason sauntered off in the direction of the food stands. Honestly, he hadn't been over there before so in reality he was following his nose more than anything. Either way it still got him there.

Ordering wasn't too hard - Jason himself had some brisket and kielbasa. The kielbasa was good, but the brisket could've been better, in his opinion. After eating, he returned to the counter to order Slush and Froge's food - this way it'd still be warm by the time he got back to them. Upon his return, he handed the bag of food to the other Chicoons. As they busied themselves with their food, he palmed a ball for his throw. He wondered what he was actually trying to get out of all this. Why does he put up with this?

Reaction: Honeydew felt relief at the conversation. Though the laughing hurt their feelings a bit, they actually didn't mind the idea of going to pick up their food! maybe they could even be friends! regardless, at least they didn't have to pay another ticket or get made fun of. Honeydew tried to ask a few more questions. "What specifically ae you thinking for the barbeque?... do you want like. Burgie? hotdog? er uh... do you have the barbeque here?" honeydew asks, gazing around the grounds near the dunk tank. "Or uh... am I picking the food up from a store? Is there a specific store you're craving?". Honeydew realized they're probably asking too many questions at once and they slow down. While they wait for a response, Honeydew waddles over to a bench near the area that has their bag sitting on it. They pick it up before bringing it back over to the area. "Also uh... am I..." Honeydew trails off. "Am I uh.. paying for your food?" They ask in a quicker sentence in hopes that it won't cause an issue. Honeydew begins to think to themselves... maybe paying a ticket WOULD be better than having to buy food. What if they pick up the wrong thing. Or something that Froge or Slush is allergic to. What if one of them eats an allergen and falls into the dunk tank and drowns and then Honeydew has to save them.
