In truth, Sen's life was not overwhelmingly difficult. They grew up in a fairly wealthy upper-middle class family and did not have much that they were left wanting. Though their parents were not constantly present due to work, they also were not overly mean to Sen and their siblings, and provided what the children needed. Perhaps if Sen really thought about it, there could have been a day in their childhood that was full of joy; perhaps a family outing of some sort. But, if that was the case then it certainly has been forgotten with time and, in hindsight, must not have been a very significant event.

Sen was never particularly sentimental, but if they truly had to answer the question posed, they would sigh and begrudgingly state that it was the day they met Orpheus. It wasn't as if the initial meeting was anything joyous; in fact, if they recall correctly, they and Orpheus' brother Laurenzo had acted rather aggressively (with Orph acting as the mediator, of course.) However, despite the rocky start, the trio eventually worked out their differences and became friends (and, in the case of Orph and Sen, more than that.)

In Sen's mind, "the happiest day" isn't happy because of the events of what happened, but because of what it led to. To Sen, every day with Orpheus can be considered "the happiest day" merely because they are together with Orph. As cheesy as it sounds (much to the annoyance of Sen, who hates any and all kinds of cheese), for someone like Sen, who had spent much of their childhood and adult life not having anyone to spend time with and confide in, to be able to find someone who is able to listen to them and empathize with them....

For sen, the day of their meeting can truly be considered the happiest day.

Mariam was never a particularly hard worker or one to pay attention to detail. Seeing her meticulously wiping down counters, dusting furniture, and adjusting chairs was an anomaly. She danced around the space with a silent focus marked with a hint of stress and anxiety. It was mostly excitement, though. After all, she had worked so hard. Today, her cliche dream came to fruition. Today, her diner finally opened.

The woman finally settled on a chair. It was time for the opening. She had worked for years to save, to bargain, to work for the perfect lot she had dreamed of building her diner at. Finally, she paid for the lot. Then she began building. Mariam was tough. She wanted to do it herself; to put down the walls where she wanted and to plan the layout as she pleased was something she had dreamed of for years. Now, she was sitting in the diner she had dreamed of for years.

“Mariam!”

She looked up to see Evelyn, her cousin. Soon, Aria arrived. Then, Giovanni, a local teacher, came. Emerson. Every face she knew from Adhæsit sat in her diner, eating the food she had prepared, smiling.

Mariam knew it then: this, knowing that her life’s work had been worth it, was the best moment of her life.

Prompt 5 - tell me about one of the best days of your kalon's life.

It was a warm, sunny, summer day and a mother kalon, Alex watched from the distance as her son, Aloe splashed in the lake water with a number of other kits. She began to recall to when she first had him. She was struggling financially after Aloe was born and she hadn't heard from his father in months. Back then, all that mattered to her was her son. He was the light of her life and she absolutley adored him. Just earlier last Mother's day, Aloe gave her the sweetest and most thoughful gift she could ask for; an appriciation note reminding her how much she loved Aloe. It didn't need fancy heart drawings or smiley faces to make her love it. It listed everything she had ever done for him. She now keeps it taped to her bedroom mirror so everyday she is reminded that she has an amazing son.

There are many best days in Sera’s life surrounding the man that he loves. For instance, the first day Sera met Florence, or the first day they kissed among a beautiful field of fresh spring flowers. The young prince treats every day like his last, so even the smallest of accomplishments are big for him. He can remember down to the first time Florence held his hand, or the first time he saw Florence cry. Sera even remembers the first time Florence and himself cuddled together, the dim candle glow illuminating his lover’s slumbering features like a beautifully glowing masterpiece.

Sera’s best day, he considers, is likely the day the two of them got married. Although they had been well in love years before that day, the two rings placed on their fingers and the kiss they shared will be painted in Sera’s mind until the end of his days. Although the prince had tried to keep his cool, the moment he saw Florence in a nice suit, a flower tucked in his pocket, tears already started stinging his eyes. Their wedding was nothing formal, of course, that wasn't their style. Simply having Dianthus and his lover there to support the two of them (along with the castle maids he had caught watching) was enough for both of them.

After saying their short and sweet (and very informal) vows, the two of them joined hands and mounted a white horse, escaping towards their new life together and leaving years of pain from them both in the dust. Sera’s warm hands wrapped around Florence’s chest as the two of them started off to their new life, matching golden rings glimmering in the sunset’s rays. He had felt like he was flying that entire day, once the nerves had subsided. He loved Florence with all of his heart, and this step towards their own personally carved life together makes him get emotional to this day.

xxxxxpollux thinks of every day as a good one; as he knows that there's a decent chance that he should have died years ago in the house fire. that was the worst day of his life. the flames rising high, snapping him awake. grabbing castor and running out the door, as far as he could, away from the guilt and regret of being so careless to leave that damn candle burning. away from his mother, who was still asleep, trapped in the smog --

xxxxxinstead, pollux thinks of the best day of his life. it was only a few months before that day. he woke up to the scent of maple syrup wafting through the house, sunlight filtering through the bedroom's blinds, and the sound of their mother humming to herself. he remembered sitting down on cas' bed, waking her up and laughing to himself as she wiped the drool off her face.

looking back on it, it wasn't anything out of the ordinary for most people. they had a little family party, and both of the twins got a few presents, as well as a cake that was absolutely heavenly, albeit a little small.

Leon
It was like any ordinary day except it was pay day. Not just any pay day however, I was Leon's first paycheck after him promotion. Leon arrived to work and was greeted by the employees, wait no, his employees. After all he has become the manager of the small chain boba store. He basically called all the shots since headquarters seems to just forget his store exist. He arrived and immediately went to his "brand new" office and squealed at delight at the raise he receive.
