Day Four Individual Responses
When Pupper returns the next day, there is a postscript on pup's note. It reads:
This is a very interesting bird. I felt bad that it could not fly as it fell down the Pit, but it seems to have made a home down here. I have decided to name it Mariana, after my biggest inspiration: Mariana's Trench.
When Artemis finds his note on Day Five, there are a few extra lines. They read:
Many birds swoop down into the pit, but none ever stay for long. However, Pupper was kind enough to bring me a bird called a "chicken". It cannot fly, so it now lives in the pit. It seems happy here. I hope it makes friends. Its name is Mariana. So Mariana is my favorite bird.
Puddles is hit in the head with another rock. However, when he looks around for it, he cannot find it. As he walks forward, he trips over... something... oh, it's his bucket!
When Aether returns, there is a second note waiting for him alongside the daily Pit Note. It reads:
I used my new words! Thank you for teaching me. I will be sure to continue using them and utlizing my knowledge.
Goob finds an additional two lines on his note. They read:
I do not know much about birds yet, but I think that may not be a bird. Maybe we will see one on our walk together, and we can learn more about it together.
After Maui kisses the Pit, the screaming stops for a moment. The Pit is still, and there is a sense of... confusion in the air. Out of the side of the wall, a Crystal Ball emerges. When Maui inspects the Pit's wall, there is no fissure or breakage that he can see. There is only a gift left. The Pit resumes screaming.
When Reptilian returns to the Pit, there is an extra note waiting for them.
This is the bird I saw! I thought it was so interesting to see a bird the same color as the sky. I had never seen another bird with that color before. Thank you for teaching me about the bluejay, I am so glad someone was able to find the one. I was shown many other interesting birds, some with blue in them, but this is the one.
My favorite bird is a chicken named Mariana that lives in me. It was a gift from Pupper. I would love to bird watch with you one day. You come visit me at night, but during the day the birds are out and I am lonely. Please feel free to come by and birtd watch with me.
When Jackson returns, there are a few extra lines on his note. They read:
I would love to meet more friends at your parties.
The white bellbird is very interesting- it would make a great addition to the Screams. I was also introduced to the Horned Screamer and a very interesting bird, although I do not know what it is called. But my favorite bird is my friend Mariana, who is a "chicken". It was a gift from Pupper, and now resides within me. Mariana is my favorite.

"Well I couldnt find a photo..." Pup looks a bit sad saying this. "BUT! I found this chicken!" Pup reveals a small hen writhing in pup's paws. "Here you go!" Pup tosses the chicken into the pit without a second thought.

Do birds ever wonder down into the Pit? I have so many questions about you, and I can't wait to get to know you better, Pit! Enjoy the photos!

Most are used as insults against people/chicoons that you don't like. When I used foul language earlier, I was in a panic and could not control my words, so please don't think I have a distaste for you. You're actually one of the most friendly entities I've ever met.
Here are some foul words with their definitions and times when to use them, just be careful.
*Aether wrote down about 7 swears with full descriptions on what they mean, and proper times to use them.... oh no*

Sorry for assuming you were a group. I think there'd be plenty of room for you at one of my parties. You'll have to come over sometime!
Birdwatching is a really neat hobby. What's your favourite bird that you've seen so far? There's so many out there, I'm sure you've spotted some cool ones.
I think you might like the white bellbird. The book I read said that it's the loudest bird in the world. I've attached a picture as requested.
I've also included some snacks. It would be hard to birdwatch on an empty stomach.
