StitchTrap takes a seat, pulling out his laptop from his bag. The chicoon powers the laptop on, and while it’s starting up he ponders on the presentation. There were no guidelines on what should be in the presentation, he glances at Mulch who seems focused. “He said not to bother him today, so I guess I’ll just have to pick the important stuff.”


He decides to open it with a brief overview of his robot and what it can do. The robot being a round circle that can fly, “It’s supposed to resemble a frisbee, it could be used for automating frisbee throwing and allow an easy partner for frisbee throwing.” StitchTrap writes that down but that actually wasn’t its original purpose, in fact it didn’t have an original purpose, it’s just supposed to be a cool robot that floats and can follow you around.

At least it would have been, if it worked.

StitchTrap is worried, they’re fast approaching the end of the semester and he still hasn’t figured out why his robot keeps trying to dive at people. It’s stressing him out, every day he goes home and tries to fix it with some new method or something he learned in class, and every day it still tries to fly at him.

“It’s got to be an easy fix” He mumbles while typing on his laptop, “I’ve got to be overthinking it.”

StitchTrap continues to the next slide and begins to write a list of parts as well as the reasons for picking them. “It wasn’t the parts, I’ve replaced all of them at least once.” He continues on, and begins to write a slide about the code, “The code was horrible, but I’ve fixed it so many times, it has to be somewhat functional.”

He continues on, and finally writes a slide about what he’s learned from his robot, “Robot building is hard.”

> PROMPT | Arsenic made a list of what she wanted to include in her PowerPoint project about the robot. She circled ‘cute pictures’ with a red pen. She knew that her presentation had to be informative, but that did not mean that it had to suffer in the creative department. Opening up her laptop, Arsenic started to design her presentation. She downloaded a few pictures she took of her robot, including a selfie. She inserted the pictures into the presentation. Tilting her head, Arsenic hoped that Mulch would appreciate her artistic vision. Notorious for shutting down her laptop without saving, Arsenic was sure to click ‘save’. She was not going to let her glitter graphics be lost in cyberspace.
