Protea - common name, sugarbushes
She is named after a genus of plant that flourishes in South Africa. They are an incredibly hardy plant, known to withstand and adapt to various conditions and environments, with a strong genetic variety. There are also instances of this plant withstanding wildfires, a testament to Protea herself, as she remains strong and resilient in the face of adversity and disaster.

I would name her Nefertiti, after an ancient Egyptian queen who was known for her power and independence. Her reputation proceeds her for being an extremely strong female figure. She definitely gives me lead mare vibes!

I’d have to go with the name Belladonna for her. Not only is Belladonna a beautiful name it’s for a poisonous flower it is Italian for beautiful lady. The duality between beauty and deadliness I find particularly fitting as monstera are toxic to pets but also pretty to look at. I imagine this girl has just as much bite to back up her pretty face as well.
