What do you like about him? The softness of the pangare with the lightning reminds me of a thunderstorm during dawn or dusk which is just a whole other level of cosy!
Why do you like HARPGs or Equine Based Adopts/Species? I loooove that they push me to work and expand on my art skills but have the freedom to let me do it in a way that’s comfortable to me. I would be so far from the artist I am today without HARPGs. Not to mention I’ve never felt like I’m a part of a community more than when I’m vibing with fellow horse gals & pals just making up some silly stories about our pixel ponies.

Why do you like HARPGs or Equine Based Adopts/Species? I was always a horsegirl (gender neutral) growing up, but I never rode outside of summer camps. As long as I can remember, I’ve been doodling horses in the margins of my schoolwork. Discovering HARPG furthered that obsession, and in turn made me a better artist I’ve been and gone from quite a few at this point, but I love the sense of community building ARPGs foster

What do you like about him? I absolutely love lightning shaped stripes, jagged edges and especially stripes of multiple colors/hues, it's gotta be my all time favorite type of pattern for equines and animal character designs in general. I like brown as a color for animals in general because it's a natural color but it kinda also contains orange and red in itself and those are my favorite colors! I also really love his mane! I like the dynamic of alternating between black and white.
Why do you like HARPGs or Equine Based Adopts/Species? I love horses, they've been my favorite animal since I can remember. I also love seeing species designed that are horses with unique creative fantasy traits. I especially love the WME unique traits, especially the mane running down their whole body and the extra chest/elbow fluff because fluff and hair are my favorite parts of character design, also their tails are just really cool especially paired with the mane running across their whole back, it wouldn't be as cool if it just ended with a standard horse tail. So yeah I generally love animals that are basically horse but extra, because the extra always adds so much potential for cool character design details that are integral to the design of the character. It's far more interesting than just default horse imo. Though I seem to prefer smaller changes from default horses, much like what WMEs are designed to be, they're very much horses and are recognizable as such and I really like that and probably wouldn't like them as much if they deviated too much more away from horses.

What do you like about him? What don't I like about him? I love everything about this boyo, the pangare is filled out so nicely and wild bay is one of my favorite coats! You did such a good job of blending the colors together and lightning is just the coolest marking ever
Why do you like HARPGs or Equine Based Adopts/Species? Horse autism I guess fjagsljad I love horses so much and it's so addicting to collect my own pretty ponies! Some prompts make me think and write things and exercise my creativity, I see it as a beneficial relationship even if I don't win the adopt because at least I wrote something and did something creative!

What do you like about him? Oh man, what isn't there to like! I think he may be my favourite design on the new lines! I'm a huge sucker for pangare quids, I love the contrast on the light muzzle and the dark nostrils and lips. Filled quip is also my favorite type of quip, and his matching socks are so cute! Everything about him is just *chef's kiss*!

Why do you like HARPGs or Equine Based Adopts/Species? I really love HARPGs because they inspire my creativity and have helped me become a better artist! Even when I'm in a bit of a rut, I have always found that I can always draw horses, so they're kind of my comfort subject (I've been drawing them practically since I was born). I've recently been in a bit of an art block, but the revival of WMEs has got me so excited and I can't wait to put together a herd and start developing and drawing them!

But Roach is different, Roach is special. He proves that Geralt is not just a heartless brute; even though that’s what he wants others to believe.
What do you like about him? Everything. His whole design is so pleasing to look at and flows very nicely.

Why do you like HARPGs or Equine Based Adopts/Species? Ever since I was a little girl I’ve absolutely LOVED horses. It didn’t matter what it was, I read/bought any piece of literature I could to try and learn more. I’ve never had the opportunity to own one in rl, so equine themed adopts are the next best thing! I also love how with an adopt, the artist can take liberties as far as colors/patterns. Each one is unique! <3

Why do you like HARPGs or Equine Based Adopts/Species? I haven't ventured into the 'Adopts' section of Oekaki for awhile. As a child, I was super involved in the community and even managed to snag my cutest and only WME, Nova! I didn't know WMEs relaunched, so it's quite heartwarming to see the community active again. I figured trying to adopt this cutie would be a fun experience- make me feel like an equine-loving kid again. c:

Name Meaning: Name of a horse in the TV show Heartland. Re-watching the show while on maternity leave and thought it would be a great name to use.
What do you like about him? I love the pangare/mealy traits a lot; the contrast is beautiful. The four socks are pretty cute too; makes me think of a race horse or jumper. The lightning quip is lovely, previously known as 'maz quip' as I have always been a fan and wanted equids with this style of quipping.
Why do you like HARPGs or Equine Based Adopts/Species? I have always loved horses, ridden horses, owned them, and when I saw these adopts back in 2012 I wanted to be a part of them. I'm not too big into adoptable species, so it feels more special when I do want to be involved.
