Prompt: Arsenic flapped her wings excitedly. She loved reading and she especially adored the smell of books — the older, the better. She closed her eyes as she stood in the library, breathing in the scent of the yellowing pages that surrounded her. “I could go for a book that will keep me on the edge of my seat.” Arsenic walked over to the thriller section. When people asked her what her favorite genre was, she would always describe mystery or murder novels. Standing in front of the section, Arsenic closed her eyes and used her fingers to guide her. Her fingers seemed to trace over hundreds of spines before she landed on one. She pulled out the book to reveal…. “Grumpy Monkey?!” She exclaimed. “The suggested reading age is two to five! This book does not belong here.” She shook her head and shrugged. “Well, I believe in fate, so I guess I will be checking out ‘Grumpy Monkey.”

Dragonfly pokes his head into the library only to immediately gaze upon the sheer disarray of the place. He blinks, innocently. He'd been hoping to find a book on bugs... but it looks like it's going to be a tough time finding much of anything around here right now. Dragonfly listens attentively to the briefing from the chicoon who seems to be the librarian's keeper, and he sets to his task. He figures the most out of place books appear to be in the graphic novels section... so he'll lend a hand over there. He starts organizing the books that are scattered all around the floor into piles based on genre. In sifting, he does eventually find a book on bugs after all-- "Bugs and Where to Find Them"! He takes this book and sets it in a neat little pile for him to check out later, and returns to sorting the messed up books.

This new environment smelled like paper and wood, tables dotted throughout the various rooms within, some Chicoons wandered back and forth. It was a new place for him, Wurbur had never been inside of a library before.
As he wanders through the library, he gazes up at the tall, towering book cases surrounding him. He was looking for a good and interesting story. Something with adventure, action...with intriguing characters and story!
As he made his way into the fiction section, the title of a book called "Watership Down" seemed to catch his eye.
Gently, he pulled the book out from its shelf and looked at the cover. There was a rabbit on it! Wurbur did like watching rabbits, he even knew a few he would consider friends...after taking a quick glance at the introduction to the book, it was decided.
Wurbur was going to give this book a read! [149 words]

Ultimately he had a hard time finding any cook books, so he went for the next best, pacing towards the non-fiction area. He carefully searched each section until he found what he was looking for: A History of Every Single Animal That Walked the Earth Ever and All of their Fossils and Bones and Traces of Their Existance. (Talk about a mouthful...) The perfect book about natural history and fossils! How could Chip resist sitting down and giving it a good read?

Ernie trots into the library, excited. He loves reading on his own, but endlessly scrolling for books on Chamazon (Chicoon Amazon) gets boring after a while, so he searched for a place to browse books off of the web. Lo and behold— he found Poe’s library! He takes in the giant shelves, sprawling from the ceiling to floor, and quickly feels overwhelmed. But, not to worry! He makes a swift recovery, and decides to start at the shelf farthest from the door, and then make his way back. He wasn’t sure if he could even make it to the floor… or… floors (?) of the library. As he gazed through the rows of books, he grabbed a book with a pretty, deep blue cover and golden writing along the spine, and eagerly began to read… without checking the section he was in.

Yangyin blinked in surprise, but mumbled a low and compliant “alright” before turning around to go pick a section. Spotting the non-fiction shelves, xe felt xemself drawn to them with little resistance; and back scanning through the rows and columns, organizing where xe could. Eventually, they stumbled across a book on the flour they hadn’t seen at first, and picked it up. Xe was delighted to see it was a rather large book of mythology! And with how thick it was, that meant it contained LOADS of knowledge. Xe grinned widely, before awkwardly tucking it under xyr arm so xe could continue re-organizing. There was no was xe was going to let this book out of xyr sight.
