Art/Writing: orchid takes a deep breathe and walks to the front of the class. the paper crumples slightly as her paws shake nervously. "this one." she says, pointing at a piece of paper she has in her hand. "its shaped like a cat". everyone giggles, but she holds her ground, staring at the awfully drawn cat on the paper. "it looks better in real life, promise!" she shouts, clutching the illustration to her chest.
she groggily walks back to the table, and slumps down, burying her head in the desk. "pssst, hey" someone whispered at her. she looks up and turns her head towards the direction of the voice. "i think its cool, dont listen to those guys"

Art/Writing: Elias fondly recalls when they first noticed this constellation - a set of stars in the shape of a star! It was such a coincidence, that the stars so many trillions of miles away, would be aligned in the shape that is so known to all as a 'star'. Elias truly had pondered this for some time, and was excited to show the other chicoons.

Art/Writing: When i was still a whelp, i loved to look up at the stars, one night while gazing a swarm of bats flew overhead! i got to see them fly about, some diving to catch bugs while others stayed uniform to the pack. As i was watching them fly by a grouping of stars stood out to me, that sort of reminded me of the bats that passed by! I still like to look up at that constellation once in a while and think back to that day! [88 words]

Art/Writing: Dandruff flicked her tail, her flame slowly trailing behind. She lifted her nose in silence up to a cluster of stars that were tinted pink. She slowly traced a symbol with a paw. "This, is the Shampoo Constellation. I was born underneath it. It is said that those born under the Shampoo Constellation have far more beauty than every other living thing, at least that's what I tell myself." Her eyes shone and she sat in silence as she continuously admired the night sky. The professor nodded and slowly slid away to view the next student, but she grabbed their tail and dragged them over to her to study the sky. [111 words]

Blank's favorite constellation is the big dipper! Despite being an alien, Blank doesn't have a very good eye for identifying constellations... since they were a little bean they could only identify the big dipper, that's why it's their favorite! It's the one they know about the sky they hail from, and they keep it close to their heart always.

Constellation! Well, what else would it be, it's just a lil- Hard to identify.
He goes on about a "big cart" for a while, seemingly talking in circles but than he finally slows down a bit and says it's his favorite constellation because he discovered it, he named it, he saw it first, he is the only one that knows of it, he will make a paper about it, he will-
He doesn't seem to exactly know what he's talking about but at least he's passionate about it... right?

Dolomedes had a grin on his face as he recalled that special night some time ago, holding up a little doodle of a simple diamond constellation. “While this may appear simple and boring to some, it’s got some strong significance to me. Looking up at the night sky and seeing this diamond reminds me of the night Grihm and I first met and became friends, and it fills me with happiness. What’s the story behind it? Well, I was out on a walk one night and met the most beautiful, shimmering chicoon. She invited me to watch the stars with her, and so I did. She kept pointing out various constellations she knew of. She was quite knowledgeable on them too! I, on the other hand, didn’t know a thing (that’s part of the reason I signed up for this class). I WAS able to find a formation of stars which looked like her markings and that just kinda… stuck with me.”
