xxxyou and max follow the hoofprints in the sand, but after a bend in the river, they seem to disappear. no matter how much you backtrack, you can't find where they went. max doesn't seem to notice any nearby horses, either. better luck tomorrow!

xxxglacier trots to meet the chuckwagon and both parties come to a halt just off the side of the road. the person in the back grins and hands you a cool water bottle and offers glacier a crisp carrot to snack on. just before the wagon trundles off again, the driver points to some hoofprints heading off the road. curious, you and glacier follow them and soon come across a horse peacefully grazing in the shade. congrats, you found a rare random horse!

xxxwhile the gardens are quite gorgeous, glacier doesn't seem inclined to stick around. he's slow and picky, and keeps turning his head to stare in the direction of the stables and neigh loudly before waiting for a response, tossing his head obnoxiously when he gets one. despite his grumpiness at being taken away from his buddies, you find a shiny red token hidden between the stems of some sweet-smelling roses. congrats, you found 1 heart token!

xxxyou and percival follow the tracks in the sand, but at some point they turn and vanish into the water. the current looks a little fast, so you decide not to risk it. however, on your way back to the main trail, you see a token between the stems of a bush. congrats, you found 1 apple token!

Temper
xxxas you go to greet the chuckwagon, percival stops and ducks down to itch his leg. when you go to watch him, you spot a token in the dirt and quickly climb down to grab it. when you look back up, percival is getting a horse cookie from the person in the back of the chuckwagon. when they see that you've noticed they laugh and say they have something for you, too, and hand over some treats and another token. congrats, you found 2 apple tokens!

xxxbefore you get close to the chuckwagon, max turns his head towards the copse of trees nearby and neights. a moment later, there's another neigh, and a horse comes out to greet you. delighted, the people at the chuckwagon offer you some treats for both horses and another gift for you, as well. congrats, you found an uncommon random horse and 2 apple tokens!

xxxas you and crocus follow the hoofprints, she seems to be feeling herself. walking is far too slow for a horse who has crocus's speed! her inability to go slow and easy almost makes you miss the fact the the hoofprints seem fresher, and crocus nearly bulldozes right into a horse getting a drink at the river's edge. congrats, you found an uncommon random horse!

xxxking keeps turning to look back over his shoulder as you both walk along the river's edge. when he turns completely to look back down the river, you see that another horse has been following you this entire time, and king prances over to say hello. congrats, you found an uncommon random horse!

xxxglacier doesn't act cranky about the journey. instead he seems rather content to pick his way along the beach, the both of you trailing after the hoofprints. as you walk, you spot first one token, and then another. just when you go to grab the second token, you spot movement, and a horse comes trotting down a slender path towards you and glacier. congrats, you found 1 heart token, 1 apple token, and a very rare random horse!

xxx it looks like maybe the tracks are old, but you follow them anyway. eventually, they vanish, and it looks like maybe the horse went back into the trees. resigned, you and pandora turn to go back, and as you leave the river, you spot a token sitting on a big boulder nearby. congrats, you found 1 heart token!
