Parkpaw hovered next to her mother nervously, eyes darting back and forth across the water, trying to spot movement.

Neither of them had ever been fishing before, much less even ever SEEN a live fish, outside of maybe some bright colorful small ones the twolegs would keep in their stores, a far cry from the dull ones that they'd seen the other cats catching.

But, hopefully, with practice, they would manage to catch a fish or two.

Blurb: Chickpea looked at Tahini, her best bunny friend, and shrugged. "It can't be that hard, right?" Chickpea said with her usual enthusiastic tone. He had never fished before in her life, but was very confident in using her paws for tactical tasks. Her energetic nature tired well with her incredible agility, enabling her to pounce in, around and out of any danger. Surely her sharp reflexes and undoubtable swiftness would help in Chickpea being able to capture the biggest and best fish of them all. She looked around, a little nervous, but would never let it show on her face. With a half-confident grin, Chickpea took a clean swipe at the river. She stumbled back as the water flicked up to her face, but she was yet to see what she had caught- if anything at all.
