He HAS to go to the boy scout tree farm where demented Santa shows up so he can take a picture with him, and then inspect the trees. If none are to his liking, he goes to the really fancy one on the other side of the city and looks there. Once he finds a tree he likes, he stops by the local #1 Chinese Takeout restaurant and orders a big ol' pu pu platter to mange on. It usually snows during this time, he specifically picks a day where it's going to snow so he can take pictures of the snow falling in the streetlights in the dark. Based off of what I used to do with my mom every year.

prompt: redacted is an odd fellow. because of his nomadic lifestyle of constantly changing identities, he usually tries to skip town immediately before christmas. so, when he notices the holiday is coming up, he does his best to tie up loose ends and say his goodbyes as quietly as possible so e can disappear without being missed. christmas is hard for him-- it makes him remember what he lost forever and a half ago when he made a choice that severed him from his adopted family-- so it just gets him in a melancholy, bittersweet mood. during the goomas season, redacted is doing his best to slip away from everyone and find another place. during goomas proper he's usually traveling between locations, hoping to hide from anyone too bent on making him feel the holiday joy. it just isn't the same-- and the more bonded people get to him (and vice versa) the harder it is to walk away when he needs to keep running.

This is Sage's very first Goomas as a goob and they're rather nervous for it, but they've been working over time in their greenhouse to get all of their vegetables and fruits and the like ready for cooking, gifts, and everything else needed for the usual Goomas traditions! They're hoping some goos might find their interest and calling in farming and scavenging just like they did. Sage also spends time cleaning up their little cabin, making sure it looks nice and cozy and inviting for everybody that comes over, they want their friends to feel like Sage's home is their home too.
