Corla never believed in the way water can take a life until it took her mothers

The small kalon looked around and spotted her mother by the riverside near their lake view home. Lu trots over and syas “hello mother” her mother looks up and smiles and says “hello little one” she nuzzles her daughter and lu smiles. Her mother says “the rains will come soon” she smiles and gets up, lu stands and says “mother can water ever take a kalons life?” She twitches her tail and blinks. Lu’s mother nods and says “it does little one it’s very powerful ting and will be forever more a beast to us” she smiles and says “what don’t you go to sleep little one” she nuzzles and pushes her towards the house. Lu says “night mother”

The next day the rain was coming down in buckets and buckets of rain. Lu pads out of her room the find her mother reading by the fireplace. Her mother looks up and she smiles “hello sweetie” she flicks her tail. She becomes her daughter over and says “how are you this morning?” Thunder crashes out side and lu gives a jump “I’m nervous mother” her mother looks out side and says so suddenly “oh i forgot something out side, stay here” she gets up and runs out into the storm. Lu spots a wave larger than her mother. It comes crashing down and she freezes seeing her mother’s dead body floating through the current then it disappears.

14 years later

Lu pads through the school hallways and glares at others. What she lost her mother she hardens herself and became a more emo kindof figure. She pads into class and sits into her chair... she looks at the Blakc board and dribbles some notes. She knew that she never believed in water taking a life until her mother was gone. Now she fears water and never has found a way to be comparable near it.
