Years ago twin daughters were born to a royal family, one with magical powers and the other powerless.
They feared that the one with magic would draw attention from enemy kingdoms and start a war against them.
Because of this they decided for their safety that the child be taken away from the kingdom and live her life as a commoner until her sixteenth birthday.
While they keep the powerless child with them to be raised rightfully as a princess.
With neither child knowing of the other's existence until they turn sixteen...

The King and Queen intended for their daughter to live a common life with a good family, but that did not last for long.
When Fable turned five she was given to a Count and Countess as their servant, and has now lived this way for most of her life.

She doesn't hate her servant life as it could be worse like many others, but she does dream of a simpler life with more freedom.
The pros she finds in this life is that she is never bored as there is always something to do and someone to talk to, she's always being creative in how she does things, and she gets to be outside all the time.
Her cons though mostly apply to her magic.

Fable possesses illusionary magic and telekinetic abilities.
She tries her best to hide it from her masters as they forbid her from using it, but that doesn't stop her from doing it.
She loves to put on shows for the other servants with her illusions, which are more transparent and ghostly than realistic, and lack much for color.
As for her telekinesis, she applies this to her chores, which can make things fun and much easier.
But whenever she is caught using her abilities she is scolded and punished, being forced to do difficult chores or tasks while being watched, so that she doesn't use magic.
This is probably the worst part about her servant life is that magic is forbidden, and is looked down on by the kingdom and surrounding kingdoms.

Fable sometimes looks out her window up at the stars at night and wonders why she has this power if she is banned from using them.
She knows that many possess stronger types of magic and use it for destruction, but she also knows that many use it in self defense when being attacked for having magic.
She doesn't understand why those who are innocent must be treated poorly for being who they are.
She absolutely loves magic and wishes to end the ban, and show the kingdom that it is not as bad as they believe it to be.
One day she will let her voice be heard, and perhaps her dreams will comes true, but for now she has to stick to her chores until she gets older, where she will be acknowledged more as a young adult than the child she is now.

The girl who believes she is the one and only princess and heir to the throne, lives a very comfortable life in the castle, with servants waiting on her every whim.
She is not a bad princess, but knows not how to live differently than how she's been brought up.
She is kind and caring to her servants, and appreciates their work in the castle, but she can also be a bit tempered at times when there is poor news
Alexandria is a proper princess, but with her temper can appear not at all like the princess she strives to be at times.

Born without powers is something she is glad about, though she has been very curious at times what it would be like to have them.
She loves her parents and her kingdom, and cannot wait till the day she inherits the throne, but what she does not know is that her twin sister is the chosen heir, unless proven she is unfit for the crown.
She will also be further stunned when she finds out that her sister has powers, and when she hears that she will most likely dislike magic entirely as her mind will paint it as that magic stole her rightful place on the throne.

For now Alexandria's view on magic isn't all that good, but it will get much worse when her sister enters the picture.
All to the point that she will want those who possess it to be imprisoned.
Who knows if this young princess may start a civil war against her sister, only time will tell.
As for now she continues to study on how to be the best ruler for her people, and to be the best princess she can be, dreaming of the day she is crowned queen.

Amber once loved magic. She had grown so fond of it. The way it happened, the way it was made, it was used was mesmerizing. It was truly something that she loved.
But after a tragic accident, and seeing the dark side to magic, and seeing the harm and damage it can cause. Amber had grown afraid and hated anything that had to do with magic.
And the light it had once brought her faded and only fear remained.

For years she's spent trying to run, to escape the cruel fate the magic could bring.
But living in a world of magic and being a user of it herself made it rather hard to find an escape.

Oh man, I was reaallly stuck between two forms. I love reading prompts about magic and these two forms really captured their characters' emotions towards magic. After much thought, I've decided that the winner of this Kalon is

I just couldn't help but want to read more about Keahi's character, and how he plans to outlaw magic. If you do decide to develop this story further, feel free to message me! I'd love to hear about it ^^
