Deme never particularly liked autumn. They liked the warmth of summer and was always disappointed when the cold winds swept through. The leaves were a mess, and the rain turned them to mush making walking impossible. They were indifferent to the autumn flavors, much preferring fruity ones. For Bramble, autumn was always just a season you had to drag yourself through. That is, until they started dating Mathew. Mathew always raved about how wonderful autumn was, and Demetrius would roll their eyes and lovingly smirk at their cheery boyfriend. It wasn't until the leaves started falling that Bramble saw what their partner meant. But it wasn't the leaves they were staring at, nor the pumpkins sitting out on porches. Demetrius was admiring Mattie's excited smile and the gleam in his eyes as he pointed out all the colorful leaves and the wonderful smell in the air. Since then, Demetrius's favorite part of autumn has been the joy it brings to the one they love.

Demetrius and Mathew met on a train ride and the two quickly became close friends after a misunderstanding. While both were "everyone's bud" kind of people, the two had few close friends and were happy to have each other. For a while the two were just close friends, who spent their time chatting about Mathew's photography and Demetrius's writing. However after the two watched Up together and balled their eyes out, they ended up getting closer and dating. Demetrius is always most comfortable when around Mattie, and is happy to spend time just chatting about nothing in particular. The way Mathew's eyes light up when he talks about photography warms Bramble's heart, and they are always thankful for Mathew helping them with the plotlines of their story.

Demetrius met November Whitley during a writer's class. The two were trying to better their writing abilities, and found the class very enjoyable. The two got along well, and helped critique each other's work. While the two write different genres, November writing fantasy and Deme writing murder mysteries, the two enjoy sharing stories with each other. Since November works as a forensic scientist, she often can give Demetrius insight onto a more realistic way to portray their stories. The two often video chat to discuss their books, as they live quite far apart. November's calm nature has helped Demetrius through stressful times in their life, and she always seemed to know what the next step should be. Having someone they can look to for advice has helped make Bramble's life a lot easier.

Juniper's favorite part about autumn is the cozy feeling that the season brings. The oranges and browns of the trees make his heart lighten every time he sees them. You'll never find him without a pumpkin flavored drink; the smell warms his soul and the taste is glorious! He'll sit inside a Starbucks with his favorite book for hours, just enjoying the atmosphere and getting lost in the worlds beyond his. Even though the temperature is cooler, it's just an excuse to break out the fuzzy sweaters and woolen scarves that he loves so much. They warm his body and protect him from the cold winds that shake the trees and make the air dance with colored leaves that crunch beneath his feet. He loves them so much that he learned to knit just so he could have as many as possible! Juniper can't get enough of autumn; once it's done, he just waits patiently for the next season!

what they like best about autumn: They adore the early snowfalls of autumn. The feeling of being huddled up in heaps of blankets with a mug of hot cocoa, all while watching the gentle white flakes of snow falling? It's like heaven on earth. They also enjoy the satisfying crunching noise when they walk in the snow. The only downside would be that the snow tends to stick to their fur.
