In my book of life, I have seen many pass through.
Though not all the main characters from the start have made it to this point, I know they're with me, forever in my heart.
I treasure the blissful start of each friendship, they are the most memorable. Sweeter than the treats we share in those memories themself. Discovering the others personality traits like a hidden puzzle game, giggles are shared and smiles are given. I value those honeymoon years, a friendship that can stay like that is truly one made to last.

when she was younger, she'd babble with sparkling eyes, and she'd get smiles at her excitement over what she liked; she adored that. she felt equal. loved. as she grew, though, she was left with fake smiles, half-turned faces, voices speaking over her, and nobody listening. everyone had let her share her passions before. now? she was left thinking she was simply boring. she grew more reclusive after her settling realization, fearing that pang in her heart as she was left to mutter to herself.
