Cub 120
Username: NizoLuv
Name: Sverrir
Meaning: "restless ; wild"
Gender: Male
Element: Darkness
"A lion with the gift of darkness can: Cover any area with darkness, can blind foes, create distractions, cloud the mind, manipulate shadows."
Moves:
- Shadow Puppet: "The user can transform their or others shadows into living beings. As the rule of anything happening to the real body happens to the shadow, this ability may allow the user to manipulate the shadow and cause damage in reality by using it to attack. This means anything that happens to the shadow will be reflected in the true body"
Shadow may move/act on its own accord. The longer it's formed, the more it takes from the user.
- Absolute Darkness: "The user is able to create a field of absolute impenetrable darkness that completely negates sight and may also dull or even completely negate the other senses. They are potentially able to generate darkness so intense it can completely obliterate objects in its path."
May effect the User as well.
- Cloaking: "The user is able to become undetectable as long as they are in darkness or shadow."
Simple move that doesn't take much energy. Darker the area, the better the results. Can only remain hidden, but not completely invisible, for a limited amount of time.
- Shadow Marionette: "The user takes control over motor functions of others against their will as if they were a marionette via shadows, subjects are still conscious, but can’t resist the user's puppet control. This can be executed by infusing ones shadow into the shadow of the target, physical contact, or simply having shadows touch."
Requires target and user to be in close range and depending on the situation, a great deal of concentration. The longer its in use, the greater toll it has on the user mentally and physically.
- Various Darkness Attacks: "The user can release/use darkness/shadow to attacks of various shapes and/or intensities, either projected, used as a part of melee attacks, etc."
User is not immune to own attacks if careless. Will become exhausted if too much energy has been used. May end up harming/wounding themselves if they use an attack that isn't honed or a force too strong at once. Needs complete control over attacks in order to not cause unnecessary damage to themselves or their surroundings.
Most skills will be learned as an adult and mastered even later on.

When Sverrir first arrived to the Pride, he was cold and uninterested in most things. He pushed the kindness and concern of others to the side and didn't want anything to do with the cubs or adults of this new foreign place. He was highly aggressive and defensive when approached, throwing out rude words to any who speak to him. He hide his nervousness and fear with hisses and spits. He didn't want anything to do with the Pride and wanted to just return to where he was, however the Pride wouldn't allow him to, which just made his mood worse and worse each time he was denied what he wanted.
His trust in the Pride didn't get any better, especially when they were opening discussing and arguing about who would watch over him. Why was he forced to stay in a place that didn't even want him. He soon started acting out, causing problems within the Pride. Starting fights with other cubs and even attempting to attack some of the pride members.
Sverrir is quick to become upset and will occasionally throw tantrums followed by a few bats to the face. He doesn't like when others tell him "No" or that he isn't allowed to do something or go somewhere. He doesn't like others talking or looking down on him for any reason and hates when others talk behind his back. He doesn't like things to be kept from him and will try and seek the truth himself if he suspects it'd being hidden from him.
He's quick to rush into situations, good or bad, without thinking much beforehand. It often leaves him in some kind of trouble and is a foul mood. He doesn't have much of a self perseverance sense and is reckless and seems to seek out dangerous situations. He thinks since he was nearly dead before, what's wrong with dying any other time. He doesn't cherish his life and isn't afraid to lose it.

Sverrir isn't all bad bones, he's just distrusting and closed off to most and it's difficult to gain his favor. But if you're lucky enough to have it, he's much more manageable. You can see who he is underneath his pain. A cub with potential but no desire to reach it. Sverrir is independent and self reliant, making caring for him easy but worrisome. He likes to do things himself and doesn't want anyone to coddle him, on the surface. He may seem annoyed when his caregiver, or even future love, cuddle and give him affection, but he does enjoy it. Obviously, it's something he hasn't had since he was a cub, and the pain of knowing he'll never get those kind of small touches from his own family pain him but he longs for that kind of connection at the same time.
He's quick to take offence from words of others. He's can be sensitive at times, thinking everyone is out to get him or don't take him seriously. This causes some issues, mostly the reason he's so quick to start fights with others, especially if they question why he's in the Pride or where his family is. He's also attentive to cubs younger than him, mostly if they're struggling with something. He accompanies Inna to all of his lessons, and will sometime help some of the younger cubs to understand or to voice their troubles to Inna himself if he has to.
He's a curious guy, eager to listen to whatever Inna has to teach him, though if he actually puts it into practice is another thing. He never had the opportunity to be taught about his element or to learn how to control it. Sverrir will sometimes take off away from the Pride, but never leaving the territory, to practice his control over simple skills in secret, mostly embarrassed and frustrated at himself for not being able to do simple things all the other cubs his age have probably already mastered. He would spend hours on a single thing until he was happy with the results and then run to Inna for approval.
He's good with paw to paw combat and sparring without his element, mostly since it's more of a disadvantage for him right now. He had to learn to cope and defend himself from what he could without it after all. He can take training seriously some days and others all he'll want to do is fight whoever he can find, Inna included.

Depending on his Relationships later on in life, his personality as an Adult may change a bit.
As an Adult, he begins to question what his purpose is. He doesn't understand why he was left, why his family was killed in the safety of their own makeshift camp while he was roaming around by himself. Maybe if he had never ran off, his family would have still been alive, or at least, he would have been with them either way. He begins to word towards the dream he gained as a cub, to find his family's murder(s) and take revenge. His hopes are high and he's confident he'll be able to find them one way or another eventually. He hasn't thought much on
who or
what exactly killed them, but he figures he'll be able to dig around and find something out.
If not, he'll find them eventually if he attacks whoever is suspicious, Rebels, Nomads, and the like. He won't really think about the consequences of his actions at that point. If the Pride wasn't involved, then everyone else has to be. He's still quick to start fights but has stopped physically fighting with those within the Pride.
Sverrir will take time out of his day to assist Inna with his classes or really anything the older male needs. He's accepted Inna as his parental figure but still bickers with him occasionally.
History/Story:
Sverrir didn't know what had happened to his family until it was too late. He had ran off, mad at his parents for scolding him about bullying his siblings. By the time he had returned, he was alone.
The small family were nobodies, not part of anything important and just living off the lands far from other groups. Which, of course, made them easy targets. At this point, Sverrir wasn't much too big, still a good number of years from even knowing what his element was, but he was strong on his feet and left the safety of his family group for some time. He had returned to a sight no cub should have experienced. The struggle was clearly displayed along the ground around his fallen family.
All he could do was run. Run as far and as fast as his little legs could take him, the image of his Mother and Father's faces and the fear in his sibling's eyes that still lingered took him farther and farther away from the scene. Sverrir was on the run for years, though he isn't sure just how many years it's been. All that time, he had barely been able to hunt, only finding meager meals from left over kills. It was just enough to keep him going for as long as he was, but he soon found his limit. The day came, when his body gave out, collapsing in the nooks of some boulders.
The next thing he remembered after everything went black were hearing voices, three different ones. He opens he eyes, barely enough strength to even bother raising to his feet. He hissed, or at least he tried to, while they talked among themselves, a look of concern on their faces. He tried to fight but against three healthy adults, it wasn't any use. He was brought to the Pride, the cub obviously unsure and fearful of what he saw. He had never seen so many different lions together before, and his parents never spoke of such a thing to begin with.
Sverrir was brought to a cave (?) and left alone with two of the females while the other went off somewhere. They were speaking to themselves again, occasionally glancing back at Sverrir. He was crawled into a back corner, growling at the pair until the other female returned. Behind her followed a few more lions, and a few minutes after, a couple more appeared. They all glanced at Sverrir, with uncertain eyes. He wasn't sure what was going on but he wasn't about to wait and find out. He gathered as much of his strength he could find and attempted to bolt out into the entrance way and escape. Of course, the exhausted and emaciated cub failed, tripping on a stone and falling face first onto the ground. A few lions rushed over to help him but instead jumped a back with scratches to the face or paws.
They began to murmur as a thick maned male stood over Sverrir, visibly upset. He spoke while some of the others shook their heads in disagreement or concern. Some went to the male's side, agreeing, trying to reason with the others while some tried to reason with
them. the exchange lasted a few hours, healers had to be called in to help and calm the cub while the others discussed just what they were going to do with him.
One lioness was very much against the cub even being there, and stormed out of the cave, pushing her way through the others and shoving the cub out of her path. The male rushed to Sverrir side, only to be forced to take a step back as the cub swatted at him as well. Soon the others left, giving up on the supporting lions and letting them have their way. The healers left soon after, doing what they could at the time and just having to leave everything else up to time.
_____________________
Sverrir watched as the lions left one by one, all but two. The first male, who had offered to take him in, approached slowly, lowering his neck to speak,
" Hello little one," he said with a soft voice,
" I'm Inna...Do you have a name?" Inna asked, tilting his head a bit. Sverrir stepped back, not trusting him. While a leaner male came up next to Inna, concerned yet curious,
"You sure you can do this by yourself? He looks like trouble." Remiel joked, making Inna frown.
"He's just confused and hurting..." Inna looked down at Sverrir,
"He just needs some time." Inna smiled down at him, Remiel shrugged, not really caring too much anymore and leaving the two alone.
It took some weeks, if not months, for Sverrir to trust Inna enough to share his name and even hold conversations with him. All the while he was wrecking havoc on the Pride and Inna's stress levels. Inna would bring Sverrir to his classes but the cub would end up fighting others instead of learning anything himself. Inna took a lot of time to get him used to the life within Pride and just interacting with at least cubs in general with little results. Sverrir would seek out whoever he could to vent his frustration and pains onto and eventually Inna had to seek the help of one of the dream lionesses, which, in the end, just made Sverrir more irritated and troublesome.
Thanks to the Dream Lioness, Sverrir
and Inna both know what Sverrir's plans as an adult will be, causing Inna greater worry than every before and annoying Sverrir. If he doesn't go out to find his family's murderer and get his pay back, he isn;t sure what he'll do with these feelings he has inside.
History Summery lmao
parents/family killed my gorgos and broken*'s akira. didn't witness the attack but found the results. Wondered around half starved and angry. found by a group of pride lions on patrol/returning from a mission and forced back to the pride. wild and distrusting. no one wanted to be bothered and considered tossing him back to the unknown lands. inna protested, verbally, and took the cub himself, must to the dismay and worry of some of the others, while others just shrugged and left.
cub is rude and hard headed, causing inna tons of stress and anxiety. possibly bullies or attacks other cubs? hangs around the wrong crowd? disappears randomly. inna possibly seeks help with calming the cub down? Gets help from broken*'s dream gal, shaylee. making him more manageable? just makes cub more wild. eventually reveals goal is to find his family's killer, even though he has no idea who or what it is. possible nomad if he doesn't form any strong bonds or connections to the pride. if he does, prison guard or an overzealous pride member.
feels like he has to avenge his family even though he's not really sure he wants to? Not sure where to direct his aggression and energy if he doesn't though.DESIGN MY HORNS Racka sheep horns (see below)
Relationships:Pride: Sverrir doesn't have a positive take on the Pride but won't betray them since he's alive today because of the help of some of its members. He'll stay loyal to the Pride as long as he sees its worth it or until they wrong him. He doesn't support some aspects nor does he want to get involved in the war between them and the Rebels. It's simply a place he owes for the time being but has no desire to contribute to them.
Rebels: Sverrir dislikes the Rebels, simply because they're in the way and he doesn't know if his family's killer is among them or not. He might be tempted to join their ranks if he would be able to pinpoint who the lion he seeks is, but other than that, he's fine challenging whoever he runs into.
Inna (NizoLuv) ; Inna raised Sverrir, against the better judgement of others, and Sverrir is grateful to him for his love and care. Sverrir may seem harsh to everyone, including Inna, but he does appreciate him and wishes to help him out with what he can, though he will still do what he wants. He knows he has caused Inna great worry and stress so he tries to be kinder to him.
Hikari (NizoLuv) One of the Lions Sverrir can clearly remember from his first few days in the Pride. She was very adamant about the Pride taking him in and saying they should just "throw him back where he came from". Even now, the look in her eyes are those of hatred and is only of the lions that even he knows better than to approach. He isn't sure what her problem is but if she keeps it up, he'll do something to solve it.
Remiel (NizoLuv) - Remiel was against Inna taking the cub in on his own, simply by how hostile Sverrir was at first. Though Rem did agree he needed the Pride to survive, he was unsure if Inna would be able to handle the wild cub alone (though he had no intention of lending a helping paw). Remiel will approach the cub sometimes, offering to help train or spar with him when he has free time to give Inna and the Pride a little bit of peace.
Jezebel (broken*),
Nissa (Vraska),
Gen (Vraska)- The lions that had found Sverrir and brought him back to the Pride. He isn't fond of the trio, but will at least greet them if he happens to see them. Inna had made it apparent he wouldn't be alive if they hadn't been kind enough to bring him back. Sverrir is grateful but won't voice it to them. He doesn't usually care about ranks and such, but will
try to behave and speak a bit more....respectfully towards the three.
Kiani (Red Weasel) - A Healer that helped bring Sverrir back to life over the course of a few weeks. Inna insisted on her aid, though Sverrir had always fought it. Without her, his progress wouldn't have been so quick and the damage to his body would have been permanent. Sverrir visits her every now and then, per Inna's nagging.
Nyx (Red Weasel) - One of Inna's friends and a lion that supported the idea of Inna taking the cub in. She is seen pretty often, being another Cub Trainer, and Sverrir will sometimes be sent to sit in on her lessons for the day. Sverrir is usually quiet around the lioness, and oddly behaves himself, somewhat.
Shaylee (*broken) - Sverrir is awkward and defensive around this lioness. She has messed around with his dreams when he first arrived and he isn't sure how to act around her. He feels like she knows his deepest thoughts and doesn't like that feeling. He knows she did what she did to help Inna (and the rest of his "victims) but all she did was aggravate him more. Thanks to her, Inna found out his plans for the future and thus, caused him even more worry and stress. He avoids her as best he can to keep her from trying to "help" him any more.
Aysu (NizoLuv) - Someone that Sverrir cannot stand. He's constantly fighting and arguing with her. He hates the way she talks down to him and how she acts like she's so high and mighty and that her family are the best of the best. He knows Inna tells him to play nice, but theres
nothing nice about this girl. He wants to mess that pretty little face up so bad and shut her up for good.
Iaso (Meddled.) - Another female cub Sverrir can't stand. They can't hold a conversation without it turning into a brawl one way or another. They're somewhat alike in personality but that just makes it impossible for them to get along. Sverrir enjoys the fighting but he doesn't enjoy her. He's annoyed with her closeness to her siblings and family but he'll blame his irritation at something else if questioned about it.
Azmon (Meddled.) - Sverrir feels bad for this cub, one, because he's related to Iaso, and two, because of how sickly he is. Sverrir always sees the small cub whenever he goes to the Healers' dens to get a check up that Inna so annoyingly insists he gets every now and then. Sverrir doesn't mind playing a few quick games with the youngster but refuses to get too close to him.
Gorgos (NizoLuv),
Akari (*broken) : The two lions that massacred his family. He has yet to learn who they are and what they did, and it's unsure if he ever will. How he will react when he learns his family was just used as a practice session for one of Gorgos' recently grown cubs is a mystery, but he definitely won't take it well. Would he rush into a battle with the demonic male and his group or retain a calm and level head and work out a plan to take his revenge? Time will tell.
Trivia :- His horns never appeared as a cub because of his malnutrition.
- Isn't the best hunter but likes to eat on top of getting nutrients from the golden dust.
- Though he may seem independant, he likes simple physical contact with those he's close to. Either standing close or greeting with head butts.
- Will most likely never get revenge over his family since he doesn't know Gorgos and Akira were the ones to kill them.
- Figures if he becomes a Prison Guard he might eventually just run into the culprit(s)
