What was their new beginning?;; When a meteor fell, things changed, a witch carved life out of the meteor and so Gin was born, He always lived away from society, always picking flowers as commanded by his caretaker, the witch. Gin was getting bored, he wanted to escape, Gin wanted to know what it was like outside, one night, he went out to pick flowers when he never returned, Gin ran away from his previous life, to realize that life with the witch was better, however Gin was lost, he didnt know where to go or how to get home, he was stuck. Trapped. Gin just wanted to go back but he didn't know how, until he saw the stars, a single shooting star passed by and Gin realized while holding his lantern in his mouth, his purpose was to light the sky, or in other words, do what he loved to do, making lanterns, a thing he did in secret in the past. Gin began to make and sell lanterns, however little did he know that the witch is looking for him, but he makes the best of time being free from her.

It all started on that cold winter's night.
I swear I feel as though it was just yesterday.
On that cold night, next to the fire, I felt a cold paw touch my shoulder.
I turned around.
Nothing.
I shrugged it off.
Then it happened again.
I figured it was my brothers pulling a prank on me.
"Stop it guys, it's not funny," I said, slightly annoyed.
"Who are you talking to? Your brothers are asleep," my mother told me.
My jaw had dropped.
"Mom, who's that behind you?" I asked her.
She looked behind her.
"There's nobody there, sweetheart," she replied.
"I'm heading off to bed,'' I told her, walking towards the stairs.
"Good night, honey!'' she called to me.
There was somebody there, I know it!
I thought as I brushed my teeth.
I finished up, when something caught my eye.
It looked like a kit.
It wasn't one of my brothers, though.
They were much smaller than my brothers, and they seemed to be about four or five.
I blinked.
Nothing.
What if that was a ghost?
I thought as I changed into my pajamas.


I woke up.
Something cold touched my shoulder once again.
"Who are you? I don't know you," somebody said to me.
"I live here," I replied to the voice.
I turned to face them.
The ghostly figure smiled at me.
My face turned pale.
"AAAH!!" I screamed, falling out of my bed.
"It's okay, it's okay," they said in a motherly tone.
Well, it was a male kalon, so fatherly?
I heard steps coming up the stairs.
He vanished.
"What's wrong honey?'' my mother asked, panting.
"Nothing, it's nothing,'' I replied.
She sighed and went back downstairs.
"Who was she?" the spirit asked, panicked.
"My mother..," I replied to him.

We talked for the years to come.
It went on up until I had to move out.
I said my goodbyes to him.
By the way, what was your name? I never seemed to catch it,'' I asked him.
I heard rustling by the boxes in the corner.
I moved some around.
I jumped as I saw him hiding there.
But something was different.
He was a living, breathing kalon now.
"The name's Seishin!" he said as he stood up.
I hugged him.
He's still my best friend to this day.

What was their new beginning?;;
An outgoing and friendly Kalon, Lumina was always misunderstood. She had no friends, lived life the hard way, food scarce. She never found anything to do, and felt empty inside. She always hoped for the best in what's to come. Everyday was an obstacle,
an obstacle hard to pass. Everything for her was hard to get, and at one point of time, a misfortune happened in her old town that led her to run away from her home. The only thing carried by her was a lantern, a glowing lantern. She ended up in a town, where she rented for cheap motels with her least worth of jewelry (that she stolen..) and the struggle to beg was real. The lantern was the only thing she held for. But one day, when all hope (and jewelry) was lost, she met up with a group of Kalons that praised her for her sweet voice. For all Lumina knew, she ended up in a band. The future's wide for her, and fate is always waiting..

What was their new beginning?;; If someone had told Firefly he'd die young, he wouldn't have believed them. Such a silly thought for a kalon so young, so small. He'd laughed, his friends had laughed, and soon the memory had faded into the darkness of his mind, where all shattered thoughts and forlorn dreams go to die. Firefly lived his life in ignorance until his worst fears manifested -- he died. His life, his friends, his family ... all of it was gone. Where Firefly awoke after that was dark at first.
Perhaps it was his grief, or perhaps it was his refusal to accept what had happened, but a light flickered into existence next to him. It was a lantern, small in size but perfect for him. Without knowing what drove him forwards, Firefly began to walk, to seek out something he wasn't even sure existed.

Alright! sorry on the wait i've sat and read all the forms!
There were lots of lovely ones so it was terribly hard to narrow it down but inevitably there must be a winner QAQ/

As I really adored the writing style you've gone with, and the overarching moral of the life's change your character had gone through. It really made a lasting impression on me reading through the forms, and I liked the involvement of the accessories in his story (even if they weren't required). Very well done, lovely work.
