Story: (555/700 words)
When Flint was a young kit he was made fun of and ignored by others, nobody would want to play or even talk with him. They would call him "caterpillar" and never included him in any of the fun games they played like tag and hide-and-go seek. He would always ask, "Can I please play tag with you?" but the answer was always the same. One day when his day was going exceptionally bad he ran away into the forest to hide. Flint though he did not look it could easily climb up trees, it was his special talent. He was sitting in the tree when he heard a voice. "Hi!" Flint looked around but he couldn't find where the voice had come from. He saw a caterpillar sitting in a tree but caterpillars can't talk. " I thought I heard a voice but I guess it's just me," Flint said out-loud to himself. "I can actually talk!" said the caterpillar. After a long pause, the caterpillar spoke again. "My name is Nabi! What's your name?" "My name is Flint." "That's a lovely name, but what are you doing in the forest? Then Flint told the story about how no-one would want to be friends with him. "And they also call me caterpillar." Nabi started at Flint and finally said while looking at the sky "Imagine that you could be a caterpillar one moment and a butterfly the next." (Owner of the quote is unknown to me) Flint looked confused and said "A butterfly?" Nabi suddenly stopped looking at the sky and said "Anyways, today you just made your first friend-me!
Flint and the caterpillar became the best of friends, Flint would visit Nabi every day. When he told the others about his talking caterpillar friend they all thought he had fallen out of a tree and bumped his head but Flint knew that his friend did exist. He would visit her every day and tell her stories about his life and Nabi would tell Flint stories of the forest, he would also bring books to read to Nabi as she enjoyed books but couldn't read. One day when the kit went to their regular meeting spot; the tree where they had first met she wasn't there. He searched high and low and asked all of the animals, trees, plants and bugs in the forest but nobody knew where Nabi had gone, Flint still came every day and sat in the same tree. One day he was reading a book and he saw a beautiful blue butterfly. "Hello there! Have you seen my friend anywhere? She is a caterpillar" After no reply from the butterfly Flint continued. "Her name is Nabi and I haven't seen her in a while." The butterfly laughed and said "I haven't seen your awesome, super, cool friend Nabi anywhere.But I can help you look for her, Flint!"
Flint suddenly realized and said NABI! IT'S YOU! YOU BECAME A BUTTERFLY! Nabi smiled and said "Yup! I'm a butterfly now!" Flint was amazed and asked many questions. The kit smiled as he listened to Nabi's story about the forest.

To this day Nabi the butterfly and Flint are best friends, Flint had changed a lot, but Nabi would always be his best friend and that would never change.

Story: Once Aurore was going through a huge field of lavender, and when she was in the middle she met a blue butterfly
it liked aurore cause it look like her. they became friends, the butterfly was her companion and best friend. they used to go to pick flowers, they went and climbed trees and they took photo graphs of the beach. the butterfly was named Sea because aurore was a huge lover of plants and she was the "Social ButterFly" she loved to meet new kalons! in her house every table had flowers.
and her companion always sit on them! they loved the summer alto she was pretty messy and stubborn she loved looking pretty. and so did her companion, she loved drawing color books and has 5 of 10 complete. she still goes to the lavender place they met.

There was a weta, he is a little small for his species and he is desperate to find a mate. I guess female weta aren't into weta that can't too well chirp, or he wouldn't be on a different island than his kind is naturally found.

Thirty kilometers away on Great Barrier Island, a cargo ship docks the land, the curious weta crawls out approaching the land. He searches for others for days but he is a giant compared to the size the weta are on the island despite the fact that is a bit of a dwarf. Other creatures scorn upon him, thinking of him as a freak, even the birds refused to prey on him, as they worried he was a bad omen. Parrots of bright feathers looked upon him proud and almost disgusted by an unfamiliar looking bug. After a fortnight of searching, he reaches the heart of the forest, he stops by a tree, to rests his tired legs. But rest can wait as there was rustling in the bushes beside him. He spots a small shadow-the size of a small lemur, dash through the bushes. He turns himself around and sees two, lime green eyes staring at him. A gray and blue paw emerges out of the bushes and onto the ground. A small, rounded face of a creature comes out of the shrubs and shows herself. She stands out like a storm cloud on a sunny day. She approaches the young weta and looks at him from above-just like the parrots, only more calm and less disturbed by his presence. She truly was the jewel of the forest, every part of her looks outweighs even the most beautiful butterfly in the area. Was she going to eat him? She's seen his species before but never has seen one as big as him. She saw the birds and bugs looking at him, she saw him trying to friendly to them but never got the same response back. For once in his life the weta wasn't looked at because of his difference he was looked at as a regular individual, an insect with goal, she saw that him in. She looked up and saw some birds perched above, cackling. ‘You're not going to hurt me are you?’ she asked. The weta chirped back, it was a friendly chirp, the ones crickets sing to each other when they know they've got each other. She looked at him, with a friendly glare, ‘I'll be there for you, whenever if you need.’ he chirped twice and she set off home. The weta looked at her in the eye, paused and began crawling her way, nearby birds could be heard in the distance, he turned to the direction the sound came from and hissed semi-aggressively. He didn't need a mate, he needed a friend, a different kind of love from others, shared to him and given back. She smiled she had a friend too.
