xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxkalon's name:Rex Masparr, though most know him as
Fluorite.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxreason for nickname:Rex is a singer/songwriter, and
Fluorite is his 'stage name' for when he performs.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxkalon's gender:Male
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxStyle and Personality:Rex is a peppy and upbeat kalon, always willing to make the best of a bad situation. His music reflects this - usually with a quick tempo and plenty of that bassy beat he loves. Those who have had the chance to meet Rex personally have described him as 'having no chill' - he's always moving around, doing
something. Some wonder if he even sleeps, and with good reason - just look at him, he practically even glows in the dark. Just being around him seems to energize others, and it's probably more than just the music he's always blasting. His music has sort of an eccentric style. It's often described as making little, if any, sense, much like Rex himself.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxTools of the Trade:Rex can play a variety of instruments, but his most-often used ones are a bass guitar and piano. If he could play multiple instruments at once, he honestly would. Alas, it is currently a one-man-show for him, so there's not much chance for instrumental harmony.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxPlace of Residence:Rex is always on the move - he doesn't even have a proper home, instead staying in various motels and hotels wherever he goes. A bit of a vagabond, if you will.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxPlaylist of Preferred MusicThis is a playlist of the kind of stuff Rex writes/listens to.
1. i'm a diamond - Bill Wurtz2. dance the - Bill Wurtz3. & - Tally Hall4. Friend - bo en5. Venus Ambassador - Bryan Scary & the Shredding TearsxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxRelationships:Rex is, honestly, terrible at keeping in touch with people. He's kind of a "we haven't said a word to each other in 5 months, but i hope we're still friends" kind of guy.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxItem:Rex doesn't have much on him at any given time - mainly just a back pack with the essentials, and a couple other things. One of those other things happens to be his bright cyan bass guitar, which is the first instrument he ever owned. To this day, he uses it in every show and always keeps it on his person.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxStoryRex sat backstage, a little more nervous than usual for his next performance. It was, in all honesty, the biggest stage he had performed on in a while, along with the biggest crowd he had
ever performed for. He took a deep breath, telling himself "You've done this before, Rex, you'll be fine." He may have exuded an air of constant confidence, but that was simply not accurate.
He looked at the clock, and sighed quietly. 13 minutes til showtime.
He paced around a bit, occasionally taking a swig of water, and practicing a couple of the harder songs he was going to perform.
10 minutes.
He spent a while trying to get into his
Fluorite stage persona, and talking himself up to be sure he wouldn't make any silly or noticeable mistakes during the show.
8 minutes.
"Just - just calm down, it's not that big of a deal. This ain't your first show, Rex." He sighed, pacing around more. He was practically wearing a groove into the floor at this rate. He sat back down, grabbing his 3rd bottle of water and cracking it open, drinking about half of it at once.
5 minutes.
Rex had to admit, he wasn't quite as nervous now - he was mostly excited for what was his
biggest show ever. He did a bit of last-minute practicing of the songs he was the least sure of - he pretty much had all of them down perfectly, though.
2 minutes.
He picked up his bass and a full bottle of water, and headed over to be ready to open the doors when the time came.
He looked at the clock, and grinned the biggest he had ever grinned.
Showtime. And with that, the audience lit up with excited applause as
Fluorite burst onto the stage.
