So, you want to know who Kate is deep down. That's kind of a loaded question, I guess I'll start off with the things she likes and work my way down from there. So, what does Kate like, what's her favorite thing to do? Well, her absolute favorite thing to do is knit. She really loves the feeling of yarn the softer the better so, she took up knitting so she could learn to make soft scarves and mittens to wear. She had some trouble at first but Kate is very stubborn and once she set her mind on knitting nothing was going to stop her from learning how.
Her next favorite thing to do would definitely be reading, she loves curling up with a warm blanket and a good book. She could lose hours to a good book, she's very imaginative and can imagine the characters so vividly that to her they feel so real she just can't help but get wrapped up in their affairs and spend hours on end reading without even realizing it. Now, I know what you're probably thinking "So she likes to knit and read, obviously she's must be a shy, lonely, hermit right?" Wrong! Kate is actually really outgoing and sociable, she loves meeting new people and making new friends. She also really loves helping people which is why she loves her job working at the library so much, she gets to meet new people and help them find amazing new books to read all while doing her job. It's the perfect fit for her.
And lastly but certainly not least, her next favorite thing to do is surf. She loves going out to the beach on an early morning and competing with her surfer friends to see who can catch the perfect wave. She adores the competition of it and the cool refreshing water of the ocean. She doesn't love the waiting so much, and can get a little impatient waiting for a good wave but the high she feels when she rides that wave in victorious is enough to keep her waiting. She really loves winning and can get a little too competitive sometimes but luckily for her, her friends don't mind if she brags a little after a win, or sulks after a defeat.
