howdy all,
I am on my way for an ap latin meeting so my apologize for no formatting / any typos but as I will not have time tomorrow I will say it now

edit: also, in respect to art the piebald can be drawn with whatever edge you prefer. what I mean is the piebald does not need to have that soft eraser feel on the edges, that is a personal drawing quirk of mine
however, as someone asked I will say how I do this, though again do not worry because I am personally indifferent as to how you draw it as long as you just retain the markings shape and color and all that good stuff. I am not finnicky nor picky because if you choose art, I would prefer you do your style, not mine. that being said, do not fret about this, I am just posting this here as someone asked and I do not want to give unfair advantages ^^

the white is created from two identical white layers, I name one layer "full" and one layer "faded". the layer I will "fade" I put on top, and just lightly erase the edges with the soft brush. the other layer I change the opacity (to 45% in this case) and do nothing with it. Ramen looks forward to the rain for one main reason—mud. After spending a long day
cooped up inside the house waiting for the downpour to end, there's nothing he loves
more than romping through the leftover mud puddles without a care in the world. His
excitement is rather contagious, enough that he often manages to get the kids to join
in on the fun (and on rarer occasions, even their parents). Less thrilling to them,
however, is the mess that typically comes afterwards. If no one is keeping a close
enough eye on him, Ramen won't think twice about coming back into the house and
leaving muddy paw prints all over the living room floor.

I'm gonna give y'all another hour just a heads up, I ended up taking an accidental nap and didn't get to do my homework so I gotta do it now x'P Assume this is automatically closes by 8pm est, I should have enough time to judge by the time I gotta go to bed, otherwise I'll finish judging tomorrow ^^

this being said, congratulations to arkin. with acorn!
I personally liked your song choices, and while I'm not one for undertale I think the song fit the prompt really well and matched the character portrayed! One of the guest judges also liked the idea of the leaves quite a bit as well so that is a plus ^^
I also think traditional art is just as good and important as digital art so if anyone has an issue with this please pm me about it x'P

runner up goes to BlueRocketMouse, should you accept it; one of the judges thought there was some contradiction between the songs and what they conveyed, but I rather liked your form! that being said, if you would like your RU please pm me some dog breeds you would like to see (preferably larger dog breeds) as well as some markings you would like to see, as well as what type of collar / similar the dog would have!

Oh wow, thankyou so much! I just wanna quickly say that I appreciate that you didn't disregard my entry because my art was traditional; I often feel I can't compete with digital art, so it's nice seeing that's not necessarily the case ^^
